I agree, shame the old man that owns the place is so rude it's ridiculous! Why do all the work to have a store when you can't don't the simplest of things like respond to a customer when they are complimenting your store for crying out loud!!?? The first and only time I have been there I complimented his store and he said absolutely nothing back to me. Just gave me my change. So stupid.
My first time shopping here and I found a couple of treasures. Prices are decent and I'll be back to look for some more treasures when I'm in town again........
Came back and found a Quacker Factory blue vest with bling. It's a fun store you just gotta get in there and really take your time looking around. Have a wonderful day.
I like this place it has good selection in many of the items I am looking for, but a lot of the stuff is over priced it seems to be that if they spent more time comping and pricing stuff as they spend on picking to stock the store they would have much better turnover. Without sales no business can last, I've been here and Flea King about the same amount of times in the last 2 years and spent 10x the money at Flea King...

More like -1. By all means shop here if you like rude, disrespectful owners that follow you around like your a thief when you have done nothing but walk in the door. I know many people that have had the same experience so I will not go in this place. Its a shame to vendors missing out on possible sales due to the owners actions.
Thanks Mick for putting back the bicycle for my grandson. Friendly and caring person. The prices are very reasonable and the bike was like new Mick is a honest person and a man of his word. Thanks to his helper loading the bicycle. I recommend shopping there.

This place is FABULOUS! Tons of booths to explore and so many different things for sale. New, used, vintage, antique: jewelry, toys, furniture....You name it! Additionally, great prices on most items. If you're anywhere near Gas City, you'll regret it if you don't stop in!!!
I’m genuinely surprised by the negative reviews. I moved to the area in late summer. I needed a new office desk, and got a solid desk for less than $70. It’s a beautiful, solid wood piece. I consider that a deal. Also picked up a little lamp for a screaming deal too. I was never followed around like the negative comments say, but based on the sheer number of things they have here, I don’t blame the owner for following people. I didn’t think things were overpriced but that’s just me.
They seem to have alot of different types of medical supplies, Furniture, Toys, Toy Boxes, Antique items , Dog Kennels, alot of Alot ! Older Gaming Systems and Games, ? CD'S, VHS Movies, Dvd's ?, worth taking a look for Sure ! Been going there for Many Many Years !
Sorry to say, but this place isn’t worth wasting your time on. The owner CLEARLY had a price LISTED on the outside of an item, yet, he refused to sell it at that price because:
1) had to go through every last item (almost 3,000 cards)
2) he claimed he didn’t sell items by the box, when he himself clearly wrote on the box himself (and he told me to my face he wrote it on there).
3) he was more interested in watching the TV in front of him, than striking a deal for the customer or himself…..3,000+ cards….
Just a cranky old man that doesn’t understand business anymore. Employees are helpful and courteous, but he is way past his time….I wasted almost a full hour sorting cards for him to start going through every one of them. What a joke….
Always a unique relic at Mick’s. I’ve been shopping here since I was a toddler. Found two crystal oil lamps for my moms birthday and some classic films on dvd for my dad. Also seen some old comics that I wish I would have purchased.
I have shopped there at the flea market. Love browsing and enjoy the variety.of items. Absolutely love the atmosphere and Mick is a nice guy very helpful. I think prices are reasonable. Rosalia Zowd Shipbaugh
I like this place! Yes, you get followed all over the store like you’re out to shoplift but it doesn’t bother me. They are just protecting the vendors’ and their items. Don’t take it personally. Places like this have things stolen on a daily basis and things also get broken on a regular basis and things get picked up from one booth then dumped in another. If you were a vendor and constantly lost things or had them broken you wouldn’t stay. If they don’t protect their vendors then the vendors leave. It’s simple logic. I also don’t care if the owner is rude. Lots of their customers are far more rude. Besides, I don’t come here to be catered to or smiled at. I don’t ask them questions about things they can’t possibly answer. I come here to find things I need or can use for a good price. I get that in spades, I say hello, smile at them, thank them, and tell them I’ll be back. I’ve gotten some really great deals on the things I’ve bought here. It’s my favorite store of this type that I’ve ever been to and I’m 61 and lived in 5 states and shopped in several others.
If I was still a vendor I would like to sell from here.

One of the best shops I've ever been too. The owner is super nice, I bought some knifes and had a lengthy conversation with him. Everything is priced perfectly, and the sheer amount of items is extraordinary like you could get lost in there.
Eh I preferred the flea king in Marion in comparison. Mick's is overpriced, staff wasn't exactly friendly and some items are not marked with prices. Some booths are hard to navigate due to the excess of stuff and lack of organization. . however they did have a variety of antiques. I guess it's the typical flea market experience...
This place has been here since I was a kid. I do believe mick himself use to chase me and all my friends out of there for stealing...I never stole but I'm sure some of did or tried to. So no hard feelings. Mick is a hard bargainer and will only sell at the price he wants but don't we all do this. Love this place.
Surprisingly wide selection of antiques and collectibles, spacious store with two floors of the good stuff. Much more fairly priced than comparative shops in my home state of Illinois. Illinois used to have stores like this everywhere, not so much these days. Micks Flea market was a breath of fresh air. Kinda glad I live as far away from it as i do, otherwise Micks might just get all of my money. Highly Recommended.
Great place to pick up sundry items. Today we bought a curio for $115 (with a marble top!) and a jacket for my daughter for $10. Video games galore, especially the older platforms. About the service: Mick is a quiet gentlemen who will help out if necessary, but will not pester you if you are browsing. I never had a problem with the staff.
Well-organized, well-stocked. Particularly good for furniture, old golf clubs, musical instruments (including band instruments). Owner seemed a little less out-going than your standard flea marketer, but what a nice job he has done putting a little order into what is typically a big jumble. Like items are grouped and organized, and there are some big collections of items. Prices vary in value. Some things seemed really high and others very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
Mick’s is one of the coolest places I’ve been to here in Indiana. There are two floors of awesome treasures there. The video game selection is unbeatable and there is everything under the sun here. Collecting, gaming, musician or clothes, it’s all there and super good prices. Don’t get stores like this back east. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
The staff here have always been helpful. I love walking around and ways find something, but the booths don't turn over inventory very quickly. We can go months between visits and most of the booths will have most of the same stuff. Balanced between antiques, miscellany, and general second hand goods.
