4/5 stars bc 1 nobody greeted, acknowledged, or asked me if I needed any help while a few were just hanging out talking & 1 on their phone, but mostly bc the staff didn’t seem super educated on their products. I came in for a car fogger to refresh the vents in my car specifically & simply asked which brand was best for refreshing the A/C systems & he said “it’s whatever ur preference” so I said “well I don’t have a preference bc I’ve never bought it, but what do u tend to sell the most?” & his response again was “it’s whatever ur preference is bc we don’t really sell it” —even tho they have 2 sections of car foggers… like what?! He said “if we had (insert name I can’t recall), but we don’t…” smh 🤦🏻♀️ A quick google search gave me the info I needed, but that should be simple stuff for a auto zone salesperson to help give suggestions on…

AutoZone in Charlestown, Indiana I went in and got brakes and rotors about a week and a half later I had to have power steering fluid put in my car. I knew exactly where it went. I just did not want to overflow it. The manager there put the power steering fluid in my brake fluid. I continue to tell him to stop because I knew that’s not where you put it. He insisted he knew what he was doing. I told him if he continued to do so he would end. Issues with my brakes well, let me tell you about a couple weeks later I Started to have issues with with them I went to several auto places and even talked to some auto mechanic friends. They told me that with him doing so he messed up, not only my brakes, but the hose line and that all of it would have to be replaced. I called corporate. They told me that I would have to do was go into the store and tell them that I wanted a refund won’t let me tell you they could not even find me in the system no more I’ve been in the system at this location since 2017 please tell me how that works so I called corporate again waiting on a response. The manager there only gave me $45 for a refund when he owed me $245 and change he said he did that out of courtesy. Well that’s not what corporate told me that’s what was supposed to be done. They told me I would get my full refund but since he couldn’t you know, find me in the system, even though I had a receipt from my credit card purchase that it was my issue when it clearly wasn’t because he’s not taking responsibility for his actions. I will not go to this AutoZone ever again, and I will let it be known about this manager, because this is ridiculous he needs to be accountable for his actions

This service was so bad I first went O RIELY and they had no 70 inch winsild whippers and they did nothing to help so I walked out with a .00000001 inch whippers so I went to the auto zone they had 10000000 inches whippers so they help me out thank for the homie Shelia to help out the whippers on my for F-40000 ford truck

Edited review! Morale of story I had 121R Durlast Gold battery with 3 yr warranty. Went into the store with my receipt which was sun faded from being in the visor. They went to look up transaction and could not find it under my phone number I had for 15 plus yrs. Was told nothing could be done despite the error on there end with phone entry. The battery had a manufacturer sticker on it showing it within warranty even gave name of person who transaction was done with and type of payment. After in store was failure I decided to called over the weekend back up there. When trying to explain issue to store manager (won't name drop) I was hung up on and cut off multiple times mid conversation when trying to seek resolution. Since I wasn't getting no where I called Corp. Had to wait til next business day as it was a weekend. First thing Monday Sasha called she was amazing she looked into got it straightened out and battery was ultimately swapped. Hunter was the Manager on duty at time of bring old battery in for new and dude was an absolute gent. Hunter and Sasha were absolutely amazing. As far as the other person I would still like apology on how you treated me on the phone. Could understand if it looked like I was trying to scam for new battery but battery was in house brand Durlast Gold can only be bought at autozone. I had multiple valid points showing was purchased with last 3 yrs. Anyways I also work in a professional were I deal with multiple different customers a day. Treating a customer with respect is very important in customer service industry. When handled poorly can result to failed businesses or people going else where. Overall things worked out. 4 of 5 stars due to hoop jumping. Will still do business in future. I'll just be validating my phone on warranty stuff my stuff.

Big shoutout for Earl at Charlestown Auto Zone. Came outside and removed taillight assembly on my Toyota Tundra and installed new bulb. Would not accept payment for labor and would not let me tip him. Very gracious and kind. Thanks Earl and Auto Zone

My vehicles check engine light came on about two miles away from this facility. I had been having issues with my vehicle but the dealership couldn't find the problem because the check engine light wouldn't come back on when they drove the vehicle. I was told to go ahead and drive it and if the check engine light came on again and was blinking to stop driving and if I was close enough for someone to put the computer on it, get a code. I called AutoZone in Charlestown, spoke with Earl who was gracious enough to bring the computer to where I had to pull over and stop the vehicle. Earl got the reading, called and told me what it was and gave me a copy for the dealership. Earl, I can't thank you enough, thank you so very much!!

We had to run in for some injector cleaner and the guy took me right to it! I was in and out and he even put it in the tank for me before I went to fill up so I did not have to leave my kids in the car!

Went in to have battery tested, employees were very busy, but very helpful, they tested battery, it was bad, sold me a new one, loaned me tools to replace even. Very helpful 👌

Not sure where they get the people they hire but they'd be better to close up entirely. Also, their prices are often double what you will pay online and you'll still have to wait.

Came in last night after an engine light came on to have it diagnosed, was a bit skeptical knowing a tiny bit about cars and was scared of being scammed, Got to say the guy was very helpful even with my stupid questions, after diagnosed I came back the next day and got what I needed for the repair guy, and still was treated great and did not feel uncomfortable. Thank you for your kind service and dealing with my dumb questions lol.

The AutoZone employee that helped me today was great! He helped me get the parts that I needed and helped me carry them to my car. He was very polite and explained the parts to me and recommended some stuff I needed, they were great!

The AutoZone in Charlestown Indiana has been a great place to pick up basic items for maintaining your car or truck; they also have a limited amount of stuff for your boat. They normally have a good deal on the DIY oil change. Several of their employees have been super helpful. One of the best things I like about the store is a discount for military/veterans and the points you earn from each purchase adds up to real credit that you can spend in the store. There's an O"Reilly right next to this place but you will get better service from AutoZone.

Yes I took my son there to get a Starter for his 2010 Chevy Impala. They had several in stock that were expensive. They kept looking at their Computer and found 1 that was reasonable cost. I took my son to another Auto Zone in Clarksville Indiana and the people who worked there were rude to him. So I called the Auto Zone and requested to purchase the one that was the lowest price. They took my Order oner the phone and I paid for it over the phone. He was so helpful and told me they had to order the part and it would be in tomorrow. He said Fed Ex made their deliveries in the afternoon. I was so thankful he helped over the phone. The people in Clarksville Indiana could take lessons in Customer Relations . Great staff just had to stop and change the alternator in my truck myself didn't have any tools they let me use all the tools I needed and jump my truck for me so I could get out there.

My alternator failed on me as I was pulling into the parking lot- they not only charged my battery so that I could get it to a mechanic safely, they also pushed my car into the lot for me. They're always so friendly and helpful here! Thanks again!

Very friendly staff and good deals! Someone even helped me install a new dome light bulb and was super nice and generous about it as well. Plus the batteries have a terrific warranty on them.
