Your best to talk to a manager to acquire a part. They seem to have much more skill with cars and computers than most. Of course, the prices are so high that you're insane or very desperate if you don't order online. But if you're truly in need, the NAPA in Charlestown is the best place to go for automotive parts and knowledge. They also make hoses, which is great.
Went to get an electrical relay. They had the newer version, but without the mounting bracket. So Steve at the parts counter called various stores (not other NAPA stores) and located exactly what I needed. Great job.
I know that I'll be a regular to this store with that type of service.
They had the part sitting on the counter waiting for me to come pick it up. My friend had called to see if they might possibly have it in stock, and they did. So he told them I would be coming to pick it up shortly. They were very nice and very helpful. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Absolutely amazing!!!! They were friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and so very courteous and helpful. I live in Louisville, KY but the type of service I got there definitely makes me NOT MIND THE 40 MINUTE DRIVE to this shop AT ALL!! That says quite a bit!!
The staff (Tommy, according to our receipt) is ready to leave 45 min before they actually close. He said the computer wouldn't come up, so he didn't have to actually mix any paint. Probably because he wanted to leave about 2:30, instead of the actual posted closing time 3:00. Terrible store, over priced, and closing time is closing time. Do your freaking job.
Not as good as a corporate store. kind of hodgepodge of parts oddball hardware store selection limited. Building kinda dumpy with a broken ac for weeks which makes it musty and warm for patrons and employees alike.
