Because of a sudden disability, I was unable to ride my 2011 Street Bob with just over 20,000 miles on it anymore. This establishment had a 2007 Sportster 1200 Nightster that would be far easier for me to manage and knowing how difficult it is to sell via marketplace or to shops, I asked to do a trade. No money exchanged at all, knowing FULL WELL this establishment would be coming out in a far better position than I was, but I was desperate to be able to ride. This Sportster has been nothing but problems, won't start, key fob won't disable the security system and the lights just flash. So not only did I give them a bike worth EASILY $3000 more than this sportster but I still can't ride because I was sold GARBAGE and they knew it. BEWARE. This is a SHADY SHADY place and whoever has my beautiful Bob, I hope they love him as much as I did. But LA Cycles is as big a rip off as any place I have EVER dealt with.
I've know and heard a variety of makes and models at the shop, both on the sales floor as well as the mechanic shop, and yet when I called for a service appointment I was told they only deal in and work on Harleys. Nice to know and also to let everybody else know.

Had to leave a review and let the interwebers know about the crew at L.A. cycles! If u have a bike or are interested in 1, this is the place to go! These guys know their stuff.. New & old. Stock or custom. L.A. cycles have the skills, the tools, and an abundance of knowledge and experience in anything to do with motorcycles from conception to present day! I am Kinda new in town and just heard about L.A from a friend i called about helping me find some 50 year old parts. I took his suggestion and checked it out. They made me feel welcome, heard, and seen. I got everything I was looking for and more. The technicians, the sales team, and the owner, they all did the most to help me locate and secure hard to find parts and help me to understand some things I had questions about. 100% recommend for service, motorcycle sales, parts, and apparel if by some off chance they don't have it there in stock, they will be able to handle it, and you'll have it promptly. They had my parts the next day.

5 stars in not enough! Prior to calling this establishment i called south side Harley parts department (nothing like being treated like a scumbagg for looking for parts) Once I called L.A Cycles my faith was restored in less than a minute.. I had Nick on the phone , he quickly told me that they had parts in stock and to come on out.. I have been to L.A Cycles 3 times now and walking in to this place as a gear head - it's like walking into Heaven. Everyone each time was patient , informative, and helpful.. If you need harley parts or service and wanna be treated right., this is you place.. If you looking for a bike head on out there.. Thank you Nick for helping me bring the bike back to life.
Had shifting problems with my 1998 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200S. They adjusted my gears and clutch at a very good price. I recommend LA Cycles for your service needs.
Matt and Kaye are so totally Awesome ? From the first time I met them through ordering new rims and tires for my Springer to having the work done. Very Positive and Professional. I will be taking my bike there from now on for service and just to stop by and say hi. You can't go wrong with L A Cycles.
Took my 2015 Harley in for them to do a service. Much more reasonable than other places. They were very knowledgeable and very helpful would recommend them to anyone.
Not a big fan of this place I went to take a bike for a test ride had to wait for the battery to charge and when the battery was charged before I took the bike for a test ride the owner told me if I laid the bike down I bought and the bike had a loud noise coming from the side of the motor and the brakes did not work couldn't hardly stop at all I think this place sells junk
Scheduled my bike with nick to have work done discussed what was needed to fix my bike said it would be no problem.Took my bike down to them about three weeks later a employee called and said he had bad news and was sorry but the owner told him to call and tell me to come and get my bike he didn’t want them working on it he wanted them to work on his bikes.NOT a good way to run a business maybe you should check with owner first I’m out four hours driving time plus gas and three weeks waiting time .
We drove from Kokomo & it was well worth it. They made sure all my sons parts would line up, knowledgeable, friendly people! Priced right. We highly recommend them. Cash preferred ?
Walked in and waited half an HR didn't see anyone around the whole place. Yelled for anyone that was working and no one responded. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. Was trying to stay local and help the small guy business but if you're not interested in helping out walk ins guess you don't need my money.
What a strange experience. LA cycles is currently in possession of my bike. I scheduled a time for them to work on it about a month in a half in advance because I know that spring is crazy time for motorcycle repair. 2 weeks now after dropping the bike off and being told the job would only be about a week I don’t even know if they have worked on it or if it is just sitting there. I talked to the owner who told me he should just close the place down and said that his employees are all trash. (Not a direct quote as I won’t use the real language he did) I don’t think I would work really hard for someone who talked about me like that. It makes sense that he can’t find people to work and that things can’t get done.
I have tried to be a reasonable person and show some grace but after my conversation with the owner I really just want my bike back. I don’t care if they worked on it or not at this point.
My advice. Go somewhere else.
Great selection and great prices also Nick is very knowledgeable and knows Harleys also they have a great selection of used parts and Harleys Davidson's for sale plus the have a lot of older Harley Davidson me and my brother jade Sparenblek go there all the time Thank you guys for all you've done for us!!!if you own a bike then you need to make a trip here!!
They did excellent work and were very professional and courteous. I had a question about another bike I own (a metric), they don't work on them but steered me to a shop that does. Will definitely take my bike there again.
I recently purchased a tour pack and Larry and Nick went out of their way to make sure that everything was Secure and safe for my riding enjoyment. I have purchased several different items and they have always been polite understanding willing and ready to help thank you guys a great job.
My customer service was horrible, i was questioned on why i was bringing in my part at 1:30 when they close at 6. The guy that was “helping me” was mocking me, was very rude, and very unprofessional. He talked bad about me under his breath as if i couldn’t hear him. But once Larry got there he made it very quick and easy to solve the problem and he was very nice!!
This place and the crew is absolutely fantastic. I have taken my bike there and recommended to friends. Nick and the mechanic crew can do anything from oil change to adding more horsepower. I will not take my bike anywhere else to get work done. Thank you to everyone at LA, you guys are top notch and deserve recognition for what you do.
Purchased my first Harley from these guys this summer and have had nothing but a great experience! Nick and Larry in service are excellent at what they do! Highly recommend!!
My story:
Beginning of the season on my second or third ride, with a new to me bike started having issues with severe wobble. After hearing the noise and the concerns with making home safely decided to grab a trailer to haul it home. Called several places around Indy hoping to have in back on the road as soon as possible of course. La Cycles being a repatituable company for over 30 years gave them a call lead time was a third of all other shops (Harley dealers). I researched diagnosis that were comparable (probably not advised lol) to mine thinking it was a rear wheel bearing after taking it to La, later found out it was spokes on my rear tire that had come loose. Nick which I would assume is the manager/owner is the person that I delt with through my experience, that earned my business and many of friends for the future I will always recommend La Cycles. He took the time to entirely go over my bike during the repair, checking all mechanical functions of the bike, instead of fixing the deficit part and neglecting everything else. I honestly never praise companies, but with the customer service that I received through my experience felt obligated.
Great service shop. Talked with several people there over the course of my repairs and they were all great to deal with. Will go back for future needs and have I referred friends.
I've been going to LA cycles since about 2000. I have a 1979 Harley Davidson and they almost always have the parts I need. Not always but most of the time. I love the place, I highly recommend it. They have motorcycles, parts and information. I have asked a lot of stupid questions and I've always gotten very good answers from Doug, from Larry, from TA and from Jack, when he used to work there. I go there just to look around sometimes. If you're into bikes, especially older ones, then why haven't you been here yet? Support small local businesses.
This is a nice bike shop. I went there to have my clutch gone through along with some questions about my bike. They were helpful and friendly. They charged me at an absolutely reasonable rate, so I can't ask for much more. Thanks guys.
Needed help diagnosing a problem with my bike, they quickly diagnosed the problem and let me know my options. After multiple calls back and forth with them (due to my busy schedule not allowing me on the phone much) talking over options I decided to go with a crate engine, their price was extremely competitive. During the install I had many questions and quickly got answers from Nick, who helped me the entire way. Over the past week everyone from the parts desk through the service department has been super helpful in answering questions/ giving advice while I performed the engine swap at home.
I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to deal with knowledgeable people who are quick to help. Their knowledge of bikes is superior to any dealer I have dealt with, and their parts inventory is outstanding for keeping all v-twins from old to new on the road.
