The service, timing and the pricing was good. I am disappointed that the inspection reports have been eliminated. They always showed what was potentially going to be a problem and I used the prior reports to stay on top of future repairs.

Great customer service. Cost was less than expected. Quick Turnaround. Dropped car off at 5:30pm and it was ready by 1:30pm the next day. They did the scheduled work and a complete inspection. Explained the work to me as if I were 5 yrs old (Trust me, I needed this).
We had similar work done by the dealership we purchased our vehicle at, a few years back. Let's just say we'll only be taking our vehicles to Ed's from now on.Feb 12, 2026 -

My experience was good with Ed car care! I found that they were thorough and looking my car over and I felt like the repairs were done professionally and with excellence. I particularly appreciate the three year or 36,000 mile warranty that comes with repairs.

I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM GOING HERE IF YOU VALUE THE MONEY YOU WORK FOR! My wife had an issue with her car right before Christmas. She called and was able to get the car in the shop the next day, on 12/23/25, so she had it towed there before speaking with me; I was working when this happened. Then, she called me on the 23rd and asked me to call Ed's and talk to the shop about the car because she was at work and could not take their call. They quoted us $1724.00 to replace the water pump, drive belt tensioner/idler assembly, a coolant hose, and a coolant flush on a 2010 RAV4, plus $80 to diagnose the issue (over $1800 w/o tax). I asked if they could do it for $1700 to see their response. The guy I talked to said he would have to speak with his boss; he eventually said they could do it for $1700.00 as a favor to me.... When it was all said and done, I towed the car to my local mechanic's shop, which is very reputable, and all the listed items above were fixed on the car for under $800. I was in awe that this business was willing to rip us off this badly. So here is my Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Review to Ed's Screw Ya Hard Center! STAY AWAY!

Our 2022 Chevy Traverse had check engine light on and they were able to diagnose and correct the issue within a very reasonable time frame.

Took my car in at the exact appt time…did my oil change and serviced all four of my tires. With the bitterly cold wear…every tire was down a pound or so.
They were as great to me and my car as they have been every other time.Jan 06, 2026 -
Have been taking our cars here for years and love the service. Very kind and considerate when we got hit with a huge unavoidable payment. My car is driving great. Thank you!

Customer Service is GREAT, got my car in and out within the times they promised, and when something wasn’t right they fixed it right away.

Another successful service at Ed's Car Care. Why do I drive 20 miles out of my way to have my car and my daughter's Mercedes serviced here? Because you can trust them to do great work at a fair price!

Everyone I spoke with at Ed’s was professional and helpful. They explained the issues my car had and offered me a reasonable quote. They finished the repairs in a timely manner and under the quoted cost. My car is happy now and so am I!

Where to even start….Back to the end of June early July when I was 9 months pregnant, I went to Ed’s Car care for a service/break inspection/new rear shocks. I spent $1100 there for these services. To then come home and have 3 out of 4 tires loose, blaming my car “pulling to the right” on I-69’s construction. Then to find 2-3 lug nuts loose on 3 out of the 4 tires with one lug nut even sitting at the end of my driveway. I returned to the establishment and I got a $25 gift card for the problem. Come 4th of July weekend, my brand new rear shocks were spewing oil and the “regular service” I had done wasn’t done. My oil didn’t even read like 1/4 up the dipstick and had to add an additional quart 1/2 on top of my “freshly serviced car” before it read on the dipstick. I ended up spending MORE money to have a family friend fix all the problems I just spent $1100 for. They said that since I didn’t come back to their establishment (over the 4th of July weekend when everything’s closed) that they couldn’t refund me money for the shocks or service. At this point I swore I’d never go back.
Then last Friday my husband’s water pump blew in his car. We called all around yet Ed’s was the only place that guaranteed a quick turnaround. As we are two working parents running a child to child care working now with 1 car. They guaranteed it to be finished by Wednesday this week as my husband NEEDED his car for Thursday. My husband called Tuesday AND Wednesday to only receive a busy tone. We showed up Wednesday at 5:20 after I picked him up from work for the whole place to be shut down and no one there. The door hours state 8-6pm. At this point we are beyond frustrated as we tried to give an additional chance to this place and now this is where we stand. I get a call Thursday morning from Eric stating the computers were down, yet for some reason he contacts me and not my angry husband who left his number for their contacting. How did they have my number if all the computers were down?
I then go there Thursday to pay for the service but they couldn’t run cards, so I had to write down all of my information. I left the $25 gift card I received for my tires being loose to be applied to the $1k bill considering we would not be coming back here ever again. Eric states “I will send an invoice for your approval and then run it.” The moment I received the invoice I looked it over and replied, “you are good to run the bill, but I don’t see the -$25 from the gift card”. I then go look at my bank account and it’s already processed and withdrawn. I called and ask for him to apply that -$25 and magically he can’t because the computers are still down. So I’m unsure how he processed my payment in the first place. He reaches back out yesterday to tell me that he can’t apply it but he can give me a $50 credit to my account for future services.
In the end, it’s not the aspect of the $25 not being applied, it is simply being wronged by the same company not only once but twice. It is extremely infuriating when they continuously aren’t making things right, and try to cover everything with a “credit”.
*pictured is my brand new shock, as well as the oil added to even make oil touch my dipstick (on top of the fresh service).Nov 08, 2025 -
I needed a front wheel bearing replaced and it was repaired professionally and in a timely manor I was very pleased, and I also appreciated the service report letting me know what I need to address in the future

I was quoted over $1000 for a rear window regulator replacement. Other mechanics in the area quoted me $300. I replaced it myself for $30 and 45 mins of my time.

My jeep sprung an oil leak and Ed’s Car Care took care of it. Great group. Very professional and will advise you of any potential issues on your vehicle and not bully you into repairs like some shops. We take all of our vehicles to Ed’s.

These guys are the absolute best at what they do and to be as approachable and able to answer any questions is a plus.
I live 53 miles from there shop and as long as I own this car I will never take it anywhere else. I can’t recommend them enough, thanks again, Ed’s Car Care team !Jul 28, 2025 -
I’ve been bringing my car to Ed’s Car Care Center for a while now, and I can honestly say they’ve never let me down. Every time I’ve had an issue, they’ve gotten me in quickly, done the work right, and got my car back to me in great shape. The team is always honest about what needs to be done, and the prices are more than fair. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but I know my car is in good hands with Ed’s. Highly recommend!

I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that started making a ticking noise. I thought it just needed an oil change, so I took it to a car care place. When I picked my car up, they said the ticking noise was not due to needing an oil change. They said something is very wrong with my car. There was debris in the oil. They said the motor was shot and the repair would be almost $6000. I decided to get another opinion, so I called Ed's Car Care on North Clinton. The man that answered told me I should call the dealer because there was a campaign on my car that could possibly replace the motor. I didn't think that would ever happen, but I called them to ask. I brought my car to Glenbrook Hyundai to be checked. SO, now I'm getting a new motor put in my car!! Ed's Car Care could have told me to bring it in, and they would quote it for me. But no, they were honest with me and told me to make the call to the dealer. My family will ALL be using Ed's now. If you want someone honest and trustworthy, you should use them too. :)

Ed’s Car Care Center replaced my 2007 Prius’s brakes and wheel bearings and fixed a couple of electrical issues. My car runs so much quieter now! I’m pleased with their whole process, and recommend them to others!

My first use of Ed’s but not my last. Ed’s has the competence and know-how of a big dealer shop, with the low pressure and prices of a neighborhood garage. I appreciated the shuttle service and friendly driver who ferried me home and back for my car. Recommend!

Took my car in for a full inspection. I have purchased from CARVANA. Smelled what I thought was something burning hot. Brakes? Heated seat? Heated steering? Ed’s Car Care did a full inspection front to back fix a couple of codes. Determined there was no issue and I was on my way in a timely manner. Excellent place highly recommend it. I live Several miles away, or I would use Ed’s regularly. If you choose Ed’s Car Care, you will not be disappointed.

First impressions are the most important. I have to say, I was addressed in a very polite and professional manner. In my personal experience, I've been met with impatience or being belittled for not knowing much about cars. But that was not my experience here. I was treated with respect and my questions were answered thoroughly with patience and kindness.
After I dropped my car off, one of their drivers took my daughter and me home so that we didn't have to pay for an Uber. Now... I stopped by my car to get a few things and, out of force of habit, I took my keys with me. One of the mechanics called and mentioned they were missing the keys, to which I remembered I took them by mistake. I was already at my second job and couldn't give them up that day, but he offered to pick them up. He ended up stopping by to get a spare key from my wife and got to work. They did NOT have to give me a ride and did NOT have to pick up the keys from my wife. Taking the keys with me was MY mistake, but they were just cool with everything and went above and beyond.
I'll be back in a couple weeks to get an inspection on my brakes. Their kindness alone has earned a permanent new customer. 6 out of 5 stars.May 09, 2025 -
We have been going to Ed's for a little over six months. They are professional, helpful, and fair. They stopped working and called asap when they found the suspected issue with my husband's car was instead something much more extensive. They only charged us for the labor of what they had done and for putting things back. I greatly appreciate their integrity after suffering with paying for unnecessary or inaccurate work elsewhere.
They did a prepurchase inspection on the new car quickly and at a fair price. They found a part that needed repaired that the dealership had failed to disclose was faulty. This saved us a lot of time and money.
When repairs to my car ended up needing more labor than expected, they gave me a coupon discount to help.
They have always explained and answered all my questions and are efficient and friendly.May 02, 2025 -
Have always taken my car to an authorized Honda/Acura dealer for service and or repairs. What Ed’s Car Care did for me was exceptional. Not only did they cure my problem, they also saved me $500-$700 by not doing work that was NOT needed. Safe to say, I’ll be going to Ed’s for most of needs.

Ed's care care did a great job on figuring out what was wrong with my jeep. They had to wait for part but had it fixed as soon as it came in. Will definitely use their services again. Pricing was fair and everyone was very professional. Not very often the owner comes out in waiting room and talks to everyone but Brian did. Says alot about how much he cares about his costumers. Thank you Ed's car care.

I bought a 2009 MB SLK 300 and found Ed's works on these cars. They provided a ride home for me. But the real satisfaction was leaving knowing they care and really did a great job. Thanks Ed's

I took my Jeep into Ed’s last week for a diagnosis and some minor repairs to be done. The experience was absolutely wonderful. Justin, the rep who assisted me was extremely helpful, and kept me informed throughout the entire process, while making things easy for me to comprehend. The business overall is very professional, friendly, responsive, and has good turn around time for repairs. They even have a jeep specialist there who was very knowledgeable, so I felt my vehicle was in good hands. All in all, I will definitely be back for my next service!

I had a great experience with Ed's I brought them a medium duty truck (probably not their usual ) they knocked it out of the park. Bryant the lead mechanic on the job was very knowledgeable and very trust worthy through all of the repair work completed. They gave me a quality repair job in a very timely fashion!
