Purchased a rear differential for a 2013 Suburban. Very pleased. Customer service was Fantastic. They delivered it to my home delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. Differential was installed and worked great. The differential was in excellent condition and they even cleaned it up nicely and coated it with what looks like undercoating. Very impressed. You usually don't see that with recycled parts. Will be using Rockford Auto Parts alot more often.

I guess one has to know a lot to buy a part from a scrap yard and I'll admit I don't know a lot. Requested a 2000 E150 Rear axle that should have been an 8.8 ring gear. That is what they told me I bought and what my receipt said....year 1999 8.8. After installing, I learned it was really a much larger rear end and had to have a shorter drive shaft made that cost a lot more than my axle assembly. Wrong part lead to a chain of expenses and won't do that again.
Follow-up...Owner of Rockford Auto called and offered to find a remedy and we ended on good terms. Obvious they care about customer service as I would in my own business.

Called up here asked for a transmission guy give me the price and asked about the other quotes and started arguing about why the other quotes are way cheaper when I was simply responding to his question which was how much were the other quotes not challenging his quote but just answering his question became argumentative disrespectful to the point that I had to hang up in order to have any resolution
Called and spoke to them on a transmission, Said they had to remove it from the car and would be a week or so. Called three days later and said it was out and ready, very fair pricing and great service!!

After I had to have the 3rd Party step in, I got a refund within an hour from them. I then got a call from Rockford trying to explain that they never got my order at all. After explaining that Ive called them literally 20 times without a returned phone call, they apologized over and over. They then sent me the part (was a 19" rim) for free, got it 2 days later. That's pretty good for trying to rebuild a customer relationship after a major issue. If only the initial order went as smoothly as their attempt to rectify it.
Maybe it was an issue on the 3rd party? I dont know, two sides pointing the finger at the other.
But, I got a rim and full apology - not much else you can ask for....

Ordered parts from them online through a 3rd party (not referencing them as they were amazing), no response. Called them over and over, nobody would respond. Left message after message- nothing at all.
Finally had to have the 3rd party step in and get my refund for the money.
Would not recommend them, their customer support and organization is horrible. Weeks of calls and refusing to call back.
If you want quality parts that you can get in a timely manner, you may be better off welding them up yourself- at least then you can see your progress....
These guys are great at this for parts used I just got a used motor for my car and they told me that I had to have my VIN number for my car so they could match it up
