These people are bad for business!!! They sold me a bad motor and gave me the run around and blocked my number. Kevin is bad for business y’all need to check the reviews from buying from them. Con artist. And they will tell you that they don’t no what’s your talking about.
1. The motor is on the way mind you they never sent a motor out in the first place.
2 Kevin will answer the phone and be like “ I’ll put you on hold I got another customer “
3 Kevin will send you a fake tracking number
4 they try and finesse eBay’s system to trick them into thinking you sent the return and they got the item
5. They will act like you haven’t purchased anything from them .

I called Rock City Auto Parts and dealt with Kevin for a variety of parts for my 2010 Infiniti QX56. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They went FAR beyond any reasonable expectations and found my parts in the right color and for a fantastic price. Their communication, selection, price, and customer service were among the best I’ve ever experienced no matter what industry you look. I’ll look to them first for any parts I need going forward.

Guy just called me back , and said I would hate to give your fiance a bad rate. We are professional if anything, and keep all equipment up to standard and par to keep customers happy and make sure adequate flow is allowed inn and out the shop. This having a bad headset.. This guy called back repeatedly after I declined business and hung up. My fiance finally answered, he tried to give me a story but I wasn't interested. I recorded the call from the start, and he threatened to give a false rating. He said he would go on there and do it ..so if I see a false rating which I know would be..because all original customers can only book through email....ROCK CITY AUTO WILL BE SURD FOR FALSE INFORMATION AND MISREPRESENTATION AND SO ON.

Ordered transmission tween received and installed it was defect talked to the seller said they would do a replacement if I closed my return through eBay( which I did like a idiot because once the return is closed eBay will no longer step in to help) the seller then proceeds to ignore communication until I left a review on eBay then he calls says a replacement was sent but won’t give a tracking number at all even after multiple calls he gets me a retract my review and still no tracking info but keeps saying one is on the way still no tracking now they have blocked the number we calling from
Charged our company for a part another company bought and haven’t refunded us yet over a month later. Won’t call or email back either. Say they will do one thing and then nothing. Actually handed us a refund receipt and then never refunded our card. Never have time to talk or respond. Nothing but the run around.
BOUGHT A TRANSMISSION IN AUGUST THAT WAS CRANKED AND LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID. THE OWNER KEVIN DELIVERED THE TRANSMISSION AND WATCHED US TAKE IT OF THE TRUCK WHEN DELIVERED. I went there to get a starter. They were so prompt. They were so very professional. He came out and he looked at my window that was broken with no charge. He also looked at my fog light at no charge. Also put in to find me a window motor and a light they are the most awesome place to go and their dog is so cool too. This is a place you need to go to parts are reasonable and good quality.
Just ordered parts via eBay through a guest account, but wanted to give my Kudos to Rock City Auto Parts. 2016 Fiat mirror got here to Baltimore a week earlier than projected, and it looks great. Be aware everyone do no buy anything from here Kevin and other team members I place and order for $30 and they ask me send Copy of Credit Card and Driving License and they charged my card $2370. Every day I am trying to call him but they did not pickup my call and never resolve the issue. This junk yard and his team is fraud.
Got a part that fixed my car for like 1/3 of the price than it would have been brand new. Love these guys. Quick and to the point. Nice service. They have a lovely beautiful German shepherd that works there with them. Wonderful place and super grateful.
People please don't get involved with this place this People are scamers they sold me a bad toyota prius engine with bad head gasket ,when I remove the intake manifold it was antifreeze inside on the intake valves so I call next day to let them know, and get a other one ,but when you call there they said the guys who bring the engine is not in the office and they gonna call me back ,,but never happen, this People are very irresponsible with customers service ,and I never put the engine on the car because I realized that engine was bad it's been a week and I can't contact this People. I think they gonna ear from me with the police because is not just me is many people with same situation ,,and I was looking the reviews from this place ,please stay away from this place they are taking your money !
I bought an alternator and a mirror from here and the service was fast and very helpful they had and got me exactly what i needed and didnt charge near what most other places wanted. Rock city auto parts is a must have parts service highly recommend place to get your parts with amazing service.
Stay away! I ordered a steering gear box And it was damaged so I didn’t take it but this place told me it was a used part and made me feel bad for not taking it when I took my old part back to the truck and came back in for my glasses which I left on the counter they said they were never there but I know they were I also found the part elsewhere for 1/2 the cost and not broken
I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with Rock city Auto. I purchased a transmission for my 1966 Ford Thunderbird listed around 650$ with shipping. At the same time, they requested for card information and charged me the exact amount, however, within a week without any order and permission they charged my account 2044.38$.
When I contacted their customer service, I was met with unhelpful responses and a complete lack of accountability, on top of that I tried to contact Rock Auto to resolve this issue, they blocked my number, effectively shutting down any possibility of communication. This is nothing short of a scam! They refused to address my concerns or offer any form of compensation. It is clear that this company has no interest in customer satisfaction or ethical business practices.
To make matters worse, Rock City Auto continues to operate as if they are a legitimate company, despite scamming customers like me. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from Rock City Auto to think twice. Save your time, money, and sanity – go to a reputable dealer instead.

Beware of Rock City Auto Parts! I ordered a $45 ABS control module, but they charged me $2800. They never sent the part and refused to respond to any of my inquiries. When I tried to dispute the charge, they altered the purchase order to show the higher amount.
This company is running a scam operation. They have no regard for their customers and engage in fraudulent practices. I have all the documentation to prove it. Do yourself a favor and avoid Rock City Auto Parts. They will steal your money and leave you with nothing but frustration.

My experience with Rock City Auto Parts has been a nightmare. I placed an order for an ABS control module for $45, but they charged me a staggering $2800. Despite numerous calls and emails, they never shipped the part and ignored all my attempts to resolve the issue.
When I disputed the charge, they submitted a falsified purchase order with the inflated amount. This is blatant fraud. I have all the evidence and am ready to take legal action. Rock City Auto Parts is deceitful and untrustworthy. Avoid them at all costs if you don't want to be scammed!
Was greeted by the shop dog and that was already better customer service than LKQ. They had my part and kept me updated and even took it off for me. I have a feeling that’s what it would feel like to have a healthy Family. Will always be a repeat customer thank you for your service

They went out of their way to pull parts for me I needed quickly. I was under time constraints and Kevin made sure all the parts I requested were waiting for me when I arrived. Even when I requested additional parts after I arrived, they were able to pull parts immediately and I was on my way faster than going to the hardware store!
Parts prices were very fair and Kevin had a great selection. No doubt I will do business with with him again and I will recommended Rock City Auto Parts to anyone needing quality parts.

BUYER BEWARE READ YELP REVIEWS!! I will start off with saying we are a professional automotive service center with a long history of good business. We purchased a transmission from this company in February. When our driver went to pick it up he was told they misplaced the ticket but would email a copy. To date still no copy even after asking Kevin for it. We installed the transmission in the customers vehicle in March had it reprogrammed and went to drive it only to discover the transmission was no good. We called the yard spoke with mike who said he would call us back later in the week when he had another unit pulled. A week goes by and we never heard anything so I call and get Kevin who says nobody knows anything about the previous conversation including mike. He also informs me the trans is no longer under warranty they only offer a month even though when i purchased it mike told me three months. I did the math it was 5 days from a month when i first called so that makes me wonder there. I have been told several times owner will have to call me back and they would have him call. No phone calls I even went so far as to pull phone bill records to see how many times I have called and how many they have called back for those who want to know the score currently it is me 39 calls made them 0 returned. All I would like is for them to either refund our money or give us a replacement unit as I still have not gotten one for this customer. Stand behind your product don't dodge the warranty. I hate typing this because this is a small business like myself but with where I am in this situation I feel others need to be warned so as not out what I am currently out in finances and time.
These guys went above and beyond to get you the help you need. I waited to put my review in until the trans that I got from them was installed. The car runs better than ever no hiccups. Helped me get this trans from Rockford to the south suburbs without headaches. Very trustworthy.
Bought an engine for a Jeep, paid to have it shipped out. The engine was bad, knocked like the crank was broken in 2 pieces. Called Kevin and assured he have another engine sent out. After about 5 promises of "It's on the truck on it's way to you", we finally realized after 2 weeks that there was no engine on the way. Also, that's when they started ignoring the phone calls. Needless to say, we had to get another engine somewhere else. I had to file a chargeback on my card to which they fought. They said since we said the motor was "in working condition when we signed for it off the freight truck" that it was now OUR PROBLEM. How can you determine an engine is in working condition when it's on a pallet?
Mike runs blocker for Kevin and goes along with the lies and deceitful practices. Kevin is never there when you call. After calling and getting heated, Mike hangs up because he doesn't want to hear about it either.
They never ran the engine before they sent it like they stated. They have my money for now. Check out Yelp reviews for a better insight to how they operate.
Next step is to talk to the state attorney for Illinois and see if this is the type of transaction they allow.

Attached are pictures of the inside of the oil pan and engine. The piston was broken on the #6 cylinder and the skirt ended up in the oil pan. Clearly proving they never ran this engine.
I have never had better customer service from the counter guy of the year in my eyes, Mike Vega. Mike went above and beyond reaching out to his other sources using my vin number to make sure I was getting the right part ( transfer case) before I left the buisness. I will most definitely be getting my parts here from now on and you should do the same as well. Great meeting you today Mike keep up the great professional work ethic
I had the best experience today at Rock City Auto. Kevin was able to accommodate me coming from Milwaukee WI even though I did NOT follow his instructions. Still a very nice man and they had a hood EXACTLY the color I needed at a VERY reasonable price. If I’m ever in need of parts again, Kevin @Rock City Auto Parts is my first call. I came for an alternator. I gave them the wrong engine size (it happens) so the alternator didn’t fit. I thought I was out $50 and would have to buy a completely new alternator (the one that actually fit), but the guys at Rock City Auto were very understanding and easily swapped the alternators out. I was very surprised and left very satisfied. 10/10 would recommend to all of my family and friends in need of affordable used auto parts
