I had a great experience at Advance Auto Parts in Rockford, Illinois. Zavier helped me find the parts I needed for my vehicle, and he did it with zero attitude — which really stood out. He was patient, knowledgeable, and gave helpful feedback the whole time. It’s not every day you come across customer service like that. Big thanks to Zavier for making the whole process smooth and stress-free!

I really like shopping at Advance for car parts. The staff is always very kind and willing to help. They will order in parts if they don't have it in stock. I think their store offers reasonably priced car parts. The last thing I bought was the rear brake pads and rotors. They offered to carry them out or let me use their cart because they were heavy.

Advanced Auto on East State Street is my preferred place to go when I need parts. I'm there atleast once a week, if not 2-3 times. I usually order them through the app, then pick them up after work, they're always ready for me. I'm usually greeted by name, truly great employees in there, owner should be proud. Even when not using the online orders, they are very helpful, customer service is 10/10, never give me any hassle with cores or returning parts like other stores have in the past. Parts are usually readily available and decent quality, even if they aren't available at that store, as long as you call and give a heads up they usually have the part ready at that store within a few hours.

I’ve been to this advanced auto a few times. every time I’m greeted by the employees. They answer questions and are very helpful. Very nice atmosphere, clean place. 5 stars. Ive been to others but this and Charles are the best.

Zavier and the other staffs was amazing they is the best team how the stick by you and help you. They really take the time and help and they treat they customers like family and make you feel good when you walked in and when you leaves the door. Because of them I will keep spending money in this store they don’t set around not help you like 11th st they really give you the best knowledge with your car. They all have the best customer service and the lady at the desk I love her. Zavier and her is my son and I favorite people. Keep up the great and amazing work. I appreciate your store and I will keep spending my money in your store with these amazing people are still there.

I went into this location tonight 11/21 and I received the absolute best customer service by Xavier or maybe it was with a Z. Either way he was amazing he went out with no problem in the cold rain to help me find the right fit for my drivers side wiper & as a gig driver especially this weather we have now, I need that visibility especially at night. My wipers were trash leaving water right in the path of my vision. & all tho it was cold & rainy he went at it until he got the right one. Thank you again so much! Advance auto is blessed to have you as a team member. You made rainy & snowy days so much better for me. :)

This location has gone down in service quality. I have used this location for years and have never had any issues with its employees or parts but as of recently something has changed. I went to get parts for my f150 and the lady who was attending me had some sort of attitude towards me about simple parts. I explained multiple times I was looking for a tensioner pulley that runs the AC and she proceeded to say “There is no part for that”. I had to look up the part myself and show her it on the website. Due to the heat of the moment I gave the wrong part number, when I said “I’m sorry I gave you the wrong one, it’s actually this part” she proceeded to say in a sarcastic tone “Are you sure this is the right one, you’re giving me these part numbers and stuff but there’re not right”. A Simple mistake that I apologized for. Then today I called about said part because it had to be ordered and the same person answered the phone. Once again, she answered me in a very rude manner saying, what are you talking about? What part? even though I clearly explained in the beginning that I had ordered a part yesterday but was not given information on when it would arrive or where. I spoke to the manager, but she also seemed to not care about the quality of service. I came in as a respectful customer only to be treated as if I had done something wrong or ruined their day. I don’t know what happened to the guys who worked here before, but they most definitely have better customer service skills.

Called around needing a battery installed, called 4 places and customer service was lacking. Called Advanced Auto Parts, spoke with an amazing guy, showed up and the customer service far exceeded my expectations. His name was Ocean. Thank you Ocean for getting my new battery installed and for your amazing customer service. Will definitely go back.

Went in to buy a battery. Checked the battery was bad. Bought a new one then they checked the alternator and starter both were good. And they put the battery in and cleaned the posts.

Clerk was rude , kept pulling the wrong part then getting mad about it . It was an oil filter for a F450 . I should of just walked out when she asked the F 450 was a Ford ! How do you work a counter at a parts store if your asking that . After her 3rd attempt I asked for someone competent , she hit the roof started yelling and was told to go take a breather . Been going to this store for 20 years , I won’t be back until she is gone . I own a tow company and parts stores are always soliciting me . So see ya Advanced auto . Autozone counter employees know a f450 is a Ford product and I’m sure they don’t scream and act like children when they are wrong .

I called 11th street Advance in Rockford Illinois Saturday the phone just rang like a closed store. Gave it another try at East state street Rockford and got the pleasure of being helped by Logan Loria or (Lorra). He helped me search for a part with no problem. Thanks for making my day with the great customer service

Everytime i go in, i believe alfonso is his name, makes it seem like a big deal he has customers. Today in a snarky tone i was asked "what are you doordash or something" when i was waiting in line behind someone i could only imagine was an employee because no purchase was made, advanced is my go to but this gets a bit rediculous

Horrible service. Do not shop here. Employees are completely uneducated and will give you the wrong parts, they barely know how to do their jobs, and you'll be kept waiting because they ignore you and move at a snail's pace. I have been here over 10 times and every time it has been unpleasant. Go to Napa across the street, they are infinitely more knowledgeable and will not steer you wrong. Would not go to this store again unless I absolutely had to. Not only that but their prices seem higher than O'Reilly and AutoZone.

If I could give the advanced auto parts on each state a 0 stars I would!! The 3 gentlemen that were working there would not leave the counter to come assist me and we're telling me I needed the wrong size light bulb when I questioned them they thought I was just a typical girl that didn't know what I was talking aboutIf I could give the advanced auto parts on each state a 0 stars I would!! Ridiculous. I went in for a car battery. Paid for it and the worker brought the cart out to put the battery in my car. He took one look and said he could not install it due to the location of the battery. Ok. I would have understood that but...the worker proceeded to leave the cart with the installation tools and battery outside on the sidewalk, went back into the store and proceeded ti start helping other customers, leaving me standing there with the car hood up, car running and battery sitting there. 15 minutes later I had to go into the store and complain and basically had to yell to get anyone to help me . Seriously. This could have been so easy to simply just apologize, refund my money and send me on my way. Nope. They just left me standing there. Nothing. If I wouldn't have gone back into the store I probably still would be standing there. I was parked right outside of the door. Both workers could see me. Both workers made eye contact with me yet left me standing there. Never ever again will I go to this store. Complete incompetence! Auto zone or o reileyswill get my business in the future. This should get a zero star review

I went in for wipers and Kent V. Helped me,but was not much of help, he told me the wiper numbers and where they are at, I asked him which he recommended from his experience, he said it goes based on prices, he did install em as asked but I could tell he was not happy with doing his job.when I said thank you he said nothing. He did his job as he had to but not great customer service. If he hates his job he may need to find a different one,just saying

I ordered the part online and drove 20 miles each way. I arrived and they did not have the part. Said sorry. They did not adjust their inventory and did not want to comp me for their mistake. Called corporate office and they took care of the problem.

Very friendly people we took our car in to see if they could tell us why all of a sudden our check engine light came on they came right out very nice man read the code told us what it was the guy parked beside us was having a hard time getting his wiper blades back on his car when we left the guy who checked the codes for us was helping him put the blades back on

My check engine light came on so I pulled in thinking someone would come out and help me. But all they did was hand me the reader which had seen better days. So I just walked out went down the road to auto zone.

ATTENTION!!! This Advance Auto location has decided they do not have to stay open until 9pm! Customer beware, if you decide you need to purchase anything here make sure it's before 8:30pm! I recently tried to purchase a stock headlight bulb at 8:40pm and the doors were locked! The employee's vehicles were outside warming up(it was a cold night). I went back to my car and called the location but no one picked up. I went back to the front door and loudly knocked on it hoping they would respond but they didn't. I guess it's to much to expect a store to stay open the posted hours they dictate! So long Advance, THANKS FOR NOTHING!

iv been comming to this place for 0ver 10 years never had a problem but worhin last few years it has become the a place i avoid unless i have to get something of the floor. this place does not see customers like it used too its almost always dead due to people always having problems with customer service, OW commercial guy is worse thats why i took my businesse accoint else.

I stopped in to the store late Saturday afternoon (5/21/16) because my car was "missing" and the check engine light was on. I know nothing about cars and really needed help. I have a 2004 Camry. Myron waited on me, and he couldn't have been any better or more helpful. He hooked a meter up to my car & was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with it. I'm very grateful for the help and service Myron & Timm gave me. Thanks a million guys.

Purchased a few items online and made a pick up. The items were readily available. Helpful and knowledgeable Staff. Also helped me in returning a wrongly purchased item. Its better to Order the item online and pick it up since few coupons are not honored for In store purchases. Definitely will recommend for future purchases.
