I went there to buy an alternator and a fuel pump yesterday evening and the guy who works there curly hair very unprofessional. He was talking to two guys about spinning donuts how cool the jeep tires are for like seven minutes while I was waiting to make a purchase and he never gave me attention. He never welcomed me to the store, which is very messed up. Oh well I went to a different O’Reillys and I got the parts. They lost money. I was going to spend a lot of money there for the parts. I hope the boss fires this guy he’s not a good fit for this job. He’s not a good sales person.
They are so helpful when it comes to everything cart related. The manager is a very friendly and humble guy, always willing to help his employees, even when they aren't super busy.
Went in for 2 u-joints for a 2005 tahoe, 4.8 with 2 wheel drive. The ying yangs behind the counter keep asking which shaft, front or rear. Keep telling them it's a 2-wheel drive, and there's only 1 drive shaft. The manager spoke up and said we need to know which shaft, and we would have to make the new u-joints to the old ones.
Got missed and went to autozone and got tge 2 u-joints I needed in 3 minutes. Perfect fit. Sorry O'Reilly, but I can't keep going there anymore for ignorant situations!

I came here to get a battery and was in need of it being installed right away due to the spotty nature of my current battery and its ability to start my car. I was confidently told by the guy on duty that according the company policy he could not step away from the store for the 5 minutes it would take to install it given that the other guy was on lunch. He also mentioned that it was raining (it was not at the time but had been earlier). Looking at the empty parking lot and the empty store, I asked how long it might be until the other guy was off lunch. 40 minutes was the reply. I asked for the tools to do it myself which he gave me but I eventually decided that I didn’t want to give this guy the satisfaction of watching me do it myself in the parking lot so I just left with the battery. This kid very clearly knew he had the power to say no to me and he arrogantly used it. As I left he went back to chatting with his buddy who was standing next to him.
I got wipers and needed assistance, I was told no due to staffing shortage at the time of my visit. Booooo I lost my wiper on my way to Chicago and had to buy another one! AZ helped and I’m better now.
This is my go-to place for parts. I know it's a chain, but it still feels like the local independent place, unlike those other 2 parts chains. You know the ones.
The customer service at this location is one of the best. Mike provided the best service and helped me get a new battery after he confirmed that the battery was faulty. Mike’s willingness to help and provide excellent service says a lot about his work ethic and motivation. I’m hoping that this is recognized by upper management.
Great experience everytime! Had a battery go bad and was replaced for free under warranty today. Removed and installed for me. Very fast and had me back on the road in minutes. Very greatful for this location and glad i purchased my battery from them! Great job!
I was there to rent a tool. It was a great experience. And for those that don't know, it's free. Just pay for the tool, and when you bring it back, you get your money. The guy who helped me was friendly and cool.
I called 3 different auto parts stores. The only store that had what I needed in stock was O'Reilly's. It was 8:45 pm and I spoke with Mike. He said they were open until 10:00 pm. When I arrived my parts were waiting on the counter. Great job Mike.
Best costumer service!! Just went in there looking for a break line and certain adapters had the guys all confused for a bit on what I was looking for exactly but they were very helpful and I ended up getting exactly what I needed. Didn't get their names but may God bless those 2 guys. Great work!
Toni was so nice an helping me find a paint you guys didn't have for an old car. When she Recommended a place in Joliet. I was so happy to hear that after my long search and all the people who work in car place. She was the only one to help me and give me what I was trying to find. On 08/05/17 I took a lawn mower battery there to get checked. I was told they would call me when the check was completed which should take about 1 hour. After a few hours with no phone call, I went back to the store. The employee was no longer there, but I heard another employee say that my battery was never put on the charger. That employee didn't realize I heard the conversation she had in the back of the store. She then told me the battery was bad and asked if I would like to purchase another one. I did not.
The next day I decided to buy a battery charger due to the suspicious encounter at the store. Low and behold, the battery was fine and held a charge. I since fixed another part on the mower and the battery works fine.
I suspect that the employees work on commission and benefit from being dishonest in order to influence a sale.
