Very unprofessional and some microagression is noticed from the representative that answers the phone. It’s unfortunate this is one of major towing companies in this region.

Had to get my truck towed this afternoon. Truck 21 was the driver. Pretty cool driver and professional. He took his time and gave me his opinion on what my problem might be. I had a drive shaft drop, for the 2nd time in two days. Even in the rain the driver took his time and even showed me a couple other things which could cause my problem.. Highly recommend,

Ive been seeing a lot of people coming with similar histories, here is mine, these guys ripped me off with a crazy amount of thousands for a towing and something they call garage, I let my truck for about 2 weeks, and they charged an insane amount of money to the point that I was thinking to leave my truck behind and start doing Uber instead of paying to these gansters. My advise to everyone out there is to make sure you look at this company and never work with them.
Can google allow minest 1 star? Because they don’t even deserve 1 star. If you want your truck to be kidnapped, call this company. They charged us 10times more than it Cost for the towing and the yard.
They are gonna give you this Irrational bills and block your truck until you pay them. It’s a fully scam. I’m trying to aware people here, this cannot be happening to more people, I’m sure in not the only one.
Very rude and unprofessional they don't care about the customer they aske illegal price i use them maybe 6 miles for my truck and trailer they charge me $7,500 and when we send our driver to pick up that truck they blocked him and they asked him more money to move the other truck never ever seen like those towing service.
It's inevitable to even the best drivers, but one day, you're gonna need a tow truck. When that day comes, call Petroff Towing! Petroff was fast, professional and had excellent customer service. Patrick on Truck 42 helped me out of 2 feet of mud after a winter season softened the grass. If I ever need a tow truck again, I'm calling Petroff and requesting Patrick!
Terrible experience. Nowhere does the business ad say they only do semi trucks and when I called the number to get pulled out of the snow, the guy who answered just hung up on me before I could explain that I’d already called other places and been told I’m too big for them. Two thumbs way way down just based off of a simple phone call.
I wish I could give more than five stars! This company and the two amazing drivers were a life saver for us! We were stranded in freezing temperatures, an hour away from home. They arrived and quickly got us on our way. The kindness and generosity of these two gentlemen, especially after normal work hours, was very touching to us and is a true example of the spirit of Christmas. We can’t thank them enough!!!
Quick service. Driver was nice, approachable, good conversation on the ride to the dealership. AND they didn’t charge me near what I thought it would be.
Petroff Towing, if there’s more than five star, I’ll give them more star driver was nice and professional , Best price for towing when police call them I seen when police call towing companies charge double price but they charge me regular price I have oversize Load 13 axle I got stuck on the hill and they pulled me out it took more time than what I was think they give me estimate. They charge me, Same Price but it took more time. pull me out they charge me, Same I really appreciate that ???

I had to get towed from this company on 6-5-2024 and the driver that came out in truck 40 was very professional he made sure that my truck was secured properly and would not damage anything I would recommend to anyone if you have a problem or need a heavy wrecker call these guys
This place is a bunch of liars and thieves. I would never use them again-they over charged me by $1000 to move my truck even though they were supposed to come 1 week earlier!

The owner of this buisness is completely ridiculous and his practices are unreasonable. I strongly suggest to never use them.They have a contract with st louis city police and charge twice normal towing rates of any other towing company in the area. User beware!
Do NOT use this towing service, they are higher than anyone in the nation, for even a 15 min work they charged $500 and 30 min drive. I spoke and tried to explain that we did not even made the deal and he is a couple of hundreds higher and he said very rudely that his charges are for a circle. I do not recommend his services, stay away.
The absolute BEST service we have received! Answered the phone on the first ring, showed up when they said they would and provided a stressed customer with a superb tow job of a 40 ft motorhome. I would highly recommend Preacher (Chad) to help you out! Thank you so much!
I read a lot of the reviews on Petroff and I will say that I found them to be very professional and courteous with me. They were helpful getting what I needed to do done about my car. No one was rude or kurt with me in any way. Sure, they are expensive but, its no fault of theirs if we put ourselves in a situation that calls for them to come out...personal responsibility! I think the people who have had problems with Petroff, brought those problems in the door.
Petroff Towing is terrible!
I wrecked on a Saturday night. The tower who arrived spoke with the police officer on the scene but would not speak with me. The cop asked on my behalf if they could tow to a different location if I had cash on my person, and the tower declined.
I went to Petroff on Monday as soon as they were open and they told me my bill would cost $625.00.
They explained that it was a police tow, three days of storage, and a hitching fee. I pressed them on the three days of storage, since they had my vehicle for less than an hour on Saturday night and I arrived as soon as they were open after the wreck, but they doubled down.
I ended up paying them $100.00 to waive tow costs and take my car.
Their behavior and pricing is predatory.
We had an excellent experience with this tow company. We had I believe his name was Michael he was nice and courteous and very prompt and retrieving us from the middle of Ozark Missouri delivering us to caseyville Illinois. I would definitely recommend this tow company.
Worst towing company I've ever heard of. Basically criminals. Told us one price charged us double. Which was almost $500. I can't stress enough how rude and ignorant and despicable these people are.
The police and our insurance told us we would not be charged so please explain how "the rates are posted" explains away the way the employees you have acted? It's beyond comprehension that you people are allowed to be this way and the state police still continue a contract with you.
My tow was great, and I do not understand the negative reviews. They were their when I needed them after my vehicle overheated and needed a tow. Easy to work with, kind drivers, Reasonably priced.
These guys just saved us a LOT of money and DOT hassle. Our driver pull a stupid move getting the trailer hung up and these guys picked the were able to get the driver back on the road and even talked the state police from performing an inspection on our equipment! VERY happy with their service - price was reasonable too. THANK YOU!

I have on my insurance policy 7,500$ for towing and I ask him is it enough.
He start smile,(I can charge you how much I want, like 12,000$, but you ok).
Wen I got bill it was almost 12,000$ for towing truck and trailer, plus for storage fee, for 28 days 4,760$.
$250 for a simple roadside tow. Police officer recommended them. Called at his suggestion, they answer without a business greeting said they don't tow. Police officer calls from his car and suddenly they tow. Get to shop and get stuck with $250 bill and they tell me I'm lucky they didn't charge me their normal $400. To make matters worse they demanded cash. Who carries that kind of cash? will be filling a complaint worth the bbb and on the police officer who is obviously in on this scam.
