I own 2 auto repair shops, been in business for 25 years, well they sold me a motor that stated on their website that it said was running in car, I put the engine in and was knocking and the timing chains were rattling so bad they could of never tested this engine> I did not purchase an extended warranty because of description of engine. My business spends 10000 thousand a year or more, what do you think they are going to do for an average customer. Not a damn thing stay far away from them!!!!
Large gravel parking lot with plenty of room to park. Multiple buildings with no signage to know where to go. Inside is very clean. Great quality used parts. Parts are clean. Easy to order parts.
Everything was fine. They were very polite and professional. They handled the covid-19 restrictions very professionally. The employees of the transmission I purchased directly into my truck.
I would recommend always checking the tie downs as soon as your off site. There was only one strap around the unit and the pallet and it slipped allowing the transmission to come loose.
Got the wrong parts once, came back and got the right parts but for the cost I could have bought them brand new from Rock Auto. And COVID-19 had everything screwed up during the experience at their facility.
I contacted these people before my warranty was up on an engine I bought off them that went bad. I got the runaround from them and they told me after the warranty expired that I was supposed to fill out a report before it expired. They made it a point not to tell me I'm sure. Paid $1300 for at the most a $300 engine for a six month warranty. Never again will I get screwed by them...
It's hard for me to write a good review about this company. I bought a used hood with "no damages" and when I drove from Lake Saint Louis to pick it up it had dozens of large scratches across the hood. They offered $100 for the damages, which wasn't enough to cover the auto body cost.
So they sent another hood from a different location, which was also apparently in good condition. They called me and said it was pretty good so I drove from Lake Saint Louis again only to find out that the edge of the hood was bent and the paint was chipping.
Ultimately, if you want a used part in an acceptable condition find another company that has accurate descriptions and doesn't ship their parts in a bed of a truck with no protection.
Or just, ya know, let your auto body repair shop do it for you and eat the extra fees. Your choice.
Do Not Order From Them... They send me the wrong part twice and they taking their time refunding me my money back... I have a huge truck bed setting in my drive way for three days before they decided to pick it back up, reminded you I order a vw engine and there's no way they could have gotten that confused... They also send me wrong engine.. Customer Service suck, everyone have a different story and they will not locate a manager to talk to you.. This company is horrible and no one at the corporate office answers the phone.. I will not be a returning customer... My advice to you is go somewhere local....
Called and was told part was on its way. It never came and when I called back I was put on hold for over 20 min. and then disconnected this happened 3 times. I never was given an explanation on why part was never delivered this bad transaction cost our shop a customer and eventually an extra 700$ to have the part overnighted from another company. I've never experienced such lack of consideration. This Caseyville location might be the worst parts store I've ever experienced.
Complete waste of time. Staff has no idea how there own system works. Has cancelled multiple order without notification. Can never reach a person when calling and if you do they will gladly f up your order from 3 states away. All of this is done at a higher price than any other yard in the area.
I really like this place especially when l don't feel like pulling my own parts. The parts locator service is second to none. Great pricing and 6 month Warranty where others only give 7, 30, or 45 days on used parts. Hardly ever have to wait in line.
