Went to their Washington street address. What a great operation. Drive through service. Enter off the alley off of Western Ave. The guys will wave you in and spot you for unloading. It was quick and easy. Guys were very friendly. Parked across the side street and went to the office. The Office employees were also quick and friendly. Got my receipt and went to the ATM less then 10 feet away and it gave me my cash. In and out in under 10 minutes and I had a whole pickup load of aluminum cans.
Went today with about 15-20 garbage bags of aluminum cans. The girls in the office explained where to go and were awesome. So were the guys in the warehouse. Go to western from adams, hang a right, go down the alley to the entrance sign. Wait for the guys to waive you in and unload what you've got. Once done, exit the warehouse and park across the street at the fence. Enter the front office, get your receipt from the girls and scan it at the ATM to your left. It'll spit out your cash and then roll. Easy process, all of them were awesome and I recommend to all.
I took in about 100 lbs of bright copper but I did have about 10 brass nuts on copper bolts they wouldn't let me remove them few pieces of brass and I only received brass price for bright copper was not happy about that but I was very nice to the lady behind the glass window because she isn't responsible for the way the guys screw you on your loads
Every trip I make goes smooth as silk. These guys are a pleasure to do business with. I'm glad I can bring $20 worth of scrap and they process me the same as the men bringing the bigger trucks.
This place is pure trash, will turn you around if it’s even close to 1145 even though you have been waiting for an hour. Go else where these people don’t care about their job or you. Alter recycling needs to be recycled
The best place to go in Central Illinois. Very helpful and friendly. Paid top dollar and was sure to clean up drive to protect tires. Thank you so very much
Go to Hitchcock's in Canton... I came to this place for way too long to not get good service at all.. I would wait in line for way too long. The workers there are very rude. I've caught them not putting accurate weights and descriptions on my tickets that I disputed and ended up getting paid for but it was a hassle. I started going to Canton and realized how much more they give per pound and it makes me sick how much money I have lost through The years coming to this place. I don't understand how Canton can pay so much more than this place it doesn't seem legal or Fair they're definitely ripping everyone off. I didn't even want to leave one star but I had to to be able to post this..
So far not happy at all.
Friday showed up at 3:30pm doors sealed up and everyone (workers) at their cars. Monday show up at 11:15 wait in line with the chain up. 11:35 someone comes out telling all that waited (6+vehicles) for the 20 minutes I was there to leave and come back after 12:45. I mean is this place open for business or just a part time hangout that pays a handful of people?
Waited 20 minutes. Then closed 15 minutes early with no one else in line and said come back in an hour and 15 minutes later. Not in a hurry and don’t care for customers
If you guys are gonna change your hours, change them everywhere. Sat in line for 40 minutes yesterday, for 1 car to go through and you guys close. I call and phone says youre open on saturdays, as well as your google ad, well drove all the way there today (saturday) and youre closed.
