I had an emergency need and HARRIS AUTOMOTIVE was able to work me into his schedule. Very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained extremely well how my problem possibly happened and how it would be corrected. If you need excellent care ...old or newer car....he's the go to. Definitely great place will be coming back for future problems. Took my f250 in for window motor they were cool enough to run down the truck and gave me a heads up ball joints/Left hub few other parts needed to be changed. I didn't know the ball joints were bad. With them telling me this info I asked for them to replace the parts. They so did so now the truck drives smoothly I can go over bumps no problem... LOVE THIS PLACE YOU SHOULD BRING UR CAR OR TRUCK!!

Making an appointment was super easy and quick. Jack repaired the car quickly and for a fair price. I especially appreciated the clear communication. He called me to discuss repairs needed after he looked at the vehicle. Then he sent a link where I was able to see the charges and approve or decline work he recommended. We are so happy with the work he did. The car has not ever ran better!

Once again I took my car over to Jack for a check on a gas smell coming from my car . I was in a time crunch and needed my car back as soon as possible. Jack found the issue, came in early on a Saturday morning to fix the issue so I could get my car back quickly . If you want a honest dependable mechanic give this guy a chance. Jack was awesome. I cannot recommend Jack highly enough. I took my 2000 Jeep Wrangler to him with a list of not-very-straightforward issues. He listened and really took the time to investigate the root causes before recommending any repairs or replacements. I had previously struggled with other technicians who didn't really know their way around my Jeep and weren't able to fully resolve my problems. Jack went above and beyond and resolved all my known problems as well as other issues I didn't know existed. All at a very fair price. It drives like new and I couldn't be happier.

Oh where do I begin!?! 2 days ago I was having overheating troubles with my Jeep. After trying and failing several times to solve the issue, I decided to wave the white flag and seek help. Then this little gem popped up on a Facebook Jeep club page (Lake county Jeep club). Harris Automotive. Decided to do a little research before making the call. Upon seeing the multiple 5-star reviews, my gut was telling me “call them yesterday!!!” Let me tell you, the past reviews do not disappoint. Jack was welcoming and understanding. Not only did he immediately jump right into the engine bay, but he was pointing out other issues he noticed that I completely overlooked. Not only did Jack describe what he was seeing, but what work he was planning to do. After leaving his shop, I felt I had made the right choice.
Jack does not leave a stone unturned. He was in constant communication with me the entire time he had my Jeep. He suggested some things be replaced since he’s in that part of the engine, however I had replaced them prior.
Fast forward to tonight, Jack calls me and says my Jeep is ready. After rushing over and being greeted with a smiling Jack. After paying and getting the last few details of what work he did, he goes on to say that today was his birthday.
This man, worked on my Jeep, on his birthday! Had I known that, I would have been 100% ok with waiting until the next day to pick up my Jeep. But no! This man finished up all the work he did on my Jeep.

Just picked up the 3rd vehicle that Harris Automotive has repaired for our family and still have 1 more to bring in. Jack makes time to squeeze us in, sends pictures of what needs to be repaired and explains in details what he did when we pick up the vehicle. Definitely will be back.
