On 6/15/23 I purchased 8.1oz of gold for $16,000.00 (pure). Just went to cash it in and it comes back to me as 18k weighing the exact 8.1oz. So I was shorted 8000.00 roughly. Contemporary has no knowledge of Coffrin Jewelers a 45yr old reputable Jewelry store ( owner now retired) of us ever doing this transaction. But I have the bank statement that they received the 16,000 5 days after the gold was locked on 6/15/23 @1958.33
16,000/1958.33=8.1 for pure. Coffrin's has never purchased 18k from them or anyone else in 45 yrs. We mix our own in house for this reason and for our clients. Contemporary not having any record of this transaction but numerous others of ours while we were in business is kinda crazy! Don't trust them. Furthermore I have more info on this case and already in talks with the JVC ((Jewelers Vigilance Committee) I will not give up even though not in business anymore for my client that was shorted! Get ready for a long ride ahead! Pure Scam!!!!

This is a great, honest company to refine with, I have used a different refiner for years, but I am much happier with this company, turn around is quick and customer service is great. We've been working with Contemporary for our recycling for a while now and are very happy with their services. The turnover is quick and their customer service is above any other company we've dealt with in the past. They're easily accessible via phone or email and prompt to respond to any questions you may have. Payout percentages are higher than other places and are relative to current market conditions. Transparency is key for building trust in a business and these guys are as straight forward as they come. Honest and reputable business in my opinion & I'd recommend them to anyone with any recycling needs.
