Idk what the other docks are like, but dock 5 does not care about your time. No fast unloading here. Just sitting and waiting while the dudes on forklifts drive by doing other duties. Maybe the other docks are better
Scaled in and was checked in quickly, went straight to a dock and started unloading in less than 5 minutes. Plenty of space to maneuver to the docks. Lot was very good for the type of business they operate.
Follow rt 3 to get in with no trouble. Not a bad experience for a scrap yard this big. Follow directions, ask people if you are unsure, watch for tire hazard ( they are always at these places, is what it is ) if you see a hazard move it.. if you can't, have someone move it. Employees were great for being so big. Only a little confusing. Not bad.
Arrived early no appointment 9:15 am no body ahead of me on scale check in right away and sent to docks 2 empty back up on one of them unloading in 34 minutes it’s good place to deliver if come early
Notes listen to scale person he or she will tell you what you need to make it easy

Everybody was Kung foo fighting. Those cats were fast as lightning. Buildings were not on fire. There was no nail in my tire. That V.P. dude was really rude even though I never saw him.
I showed up at 8:45 AM got onto scale was told where to go and got unloaded 45 minutes after that! I see all these bad reviews maybe I got lucky but I found this place to be efficient.
Very rude customer service from VP Bob Shallenburger. Would not recommend doing business with a company that doesn’t even care for their clientele. Asked for a quotation but all I received were rude and arrogant remarks.
Waste of time very dirty company watch your tires when you get out here! Got moved to 3 different buildings to deliver batteries 3 plus hours to get them off! Stay away truckers!!
Ok because they answered my review 3stars . Nobody told me that I have wrong paperwork(plus thats what I get for a hazardous load from chinese speaking Shipper) . The check in process is confusing I guess they are improving it (building a new scales) . It says they are open till 3pm. actualy close at 5pm. People are nice treat you with respect .I arived at 13:50 left at 17:00 (if thats good or bad unloading time I leave to you to decide) . The bad thing was ghat I had to go through a narrow road with potholls full with water an scraps on both sides which is always a danger of getting a flat tire . Truth is from my experience 3½* I wanted to be honest . I dont know if you were abbout to close at 3pm and did me a favor and toock me (Thank you if it was this way)If you guys feel affected and think Iam not honest (and underscored you) I will remove the review . Thank you and God bless you .
It's unfortunate that Interco is not open to the public. They would be the good scrap yard in the country without question. Stacks and stacks of scrap for miles!
If you're in a hurry to get out of the place then don't try to unload after lunch. There is a line of trucks at the scale waiting to get unloaded. The scale dispatcher is pretty fast, but you can tell they need another scale just to keep up.
VP Bob Shallenburger the worst Manager even don't know how to talk with clients, very arrogant and rude behavior.
Company should keep an eye on him as this man is not sincere for company itself.

Drive onto scale at entrance. Push button on speaker box, follow instructions. Building 3 had a tight dock, tire damaging debris may be on the ground.
DO NOT slide tandem fully back into dock space. Do a walk back to inspect dock before docking trailer. The area against the docks are full of unfriendly tire debris. You may need to set tandems back to allow you to turn into docks. Reset tandems a bit forward to save tires.
This is the worst place in USA for delivering parking it's mess the people's rude they send me home i have to come next day drivers stay away from this lazy people and place
Scale in, scale out. Compares to delivering on a worksite, many tire hazards. This is the view from 1 set of docks. No flip flop wearing here. Pick the route that brings you in Rt3 to Broadway, no trucks residential otherwise.
we drove 360 miles and had an appointment made they failed to tell us they quit taking at 2 pm and while traveling we found this out so ALL day we tried to get rescheduled and kept saying they would call us back, finally AFTER 5 pm they did and told us they couldn't get us in the rest of the week wanted us to wait a week!!! REALLY??? Rude, inconsiderate and obviously too busy, we ended up going to Didion Orf in St Peters and had a WONDERFUL experience, and they even paid more... worked out GREAT for us :) Thanks for nothing Dave. BTW, we are business owners our self and thankfully we don't treat our customers like this.
