I had a dead battery across the street in the Jewel parking lot and called AutoZone for help. I spoke with Daniel, who immediately went above and beyond by driving over to give me a jump. After that, I came into the store and purchased a new battery, and within five minutes Daniel had it installed and I was back on the road.
This was hands down the best AutoZone experience I’ve ever had. Outstanding customer service like Daniel’s is what earns lifelong customers. Huge thanks to Daniel and the entire team for going the extra mile! 10/10 highly recommend.
Quinn was very helpful and professional when I needed my headlights bulbs fixed which a staff from Palatine branch refused to help fix.
I came in and explained my issue and Quinn assisted.
1st time stopping at this AutoZone, and needed my battery checked. Staff checked it quick and showed me the readout that it was faulty. Had the new battery in stock and took it to go for install later. Appreciate their promptness and professionalism.
Sunday morning. Waiting for my payment to go through and the guy at the register didn’t even consider putting the stuff that I have bought in the bag. Instead his hands were in his pockets.
Was there today to replace a burned out headlight. The store manager sold me two new headlights and quickly installed them for me. He refused to take a tip and said it was against store policy to take a tip. We appreciate the great service we have always had at this store.
Quinn was a great help he came out to my vehicle to check the manufactured year in order to ensure I had the right part. Great customer service and he is an asset to your company!
Best Customer Service !!! Auto Zone team greeted me the moment I walked in the door. Ethan asked how can i help you. I needed a battery and windshield wipers. He showed me my options and made some well informed suggestions. I made my purchase and he offered to put in new battery and wipers. Cheerful, friendly and knew what he eas doing. I felt happy knowing my new battery and wipers were installed. Ethan was fanatastic! 5 plus star to him and Auto Zone to be so lucky to have such a dedicated employee “ who simply said to me “its my job snd I like helping people” AWESOME!

Just wanted to give a shout out to AutoZone and specifically Marcos, who went above and beyond for us. We needed new windshield wipers and Marcos looked up what we needed as they were speciality wipers, not only tested to make sure they were the right fit, and installed for us, but it was freezing cold and he told me to wait inside the car while he made sure they fit and installed them. He was so professional, caring, and made sure we had what we needed and insisted we stay comfortable as it was frigid outside. What a great place, and what an exceptional employee. Thanks Marcos.
Great experience. The team was very helpful when I was looking for a part. They went above and beyond. Most importantly, they came outside after to help me install it. I can't believe how helpful they were. I'll be going there again!
Felt like I had the bend over backwards to get any help. I asked a question and the associate helping me was basically no help at all. Ended up finding what I need no thanks to the employees. Definitely seemed like he’d rather talk to his coworkers then help
A variety of auto excessories including oil, antifreeze and cleaning supplies. Larger auto parts that I've looked up on their website were priced higher than I was willing to pay but if you need it right away they are convenient. You can order online and pick it up or have it delivered. I gave them five stars because they are very helpful and respectful to people who need assistance deciding which part or accessory is best for their specific car. Always a great experience when I've gone into the store even when I decided not to make a purchase.
Quinn was very courteous & helpful. I went in to get new wiper blades for my vehicle. He showed me the various choices available. When I paid for them I asked if I could pay a fee to get them installed. He told me there was no charge & he would gladly install them, which he did. I wanted to give him a small tip for helping me out which he refused. Wanted Quinn to get the recognition for a job well done. I will continue going to this Auto Zone for future needs!!
The employees there were incredibly helpful. Came out right away to use their reader to do a free check on my car since the check engine light was on. They proceeded to print off the report, talk me through it, and give a suggestion on what to do. Not only did they not charge me, they wouldn't even accept tips! Very generous of them, and they went out of their way to help me. Thank you very much for your courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend them to anyone.
Service was amazing! Went in to buy bulbs to replace brake light and head light and was not sure exactly what we needed. The man working there was extremely helpful in finding the correct part. He even went out to my car and changed the bulbs and showed how to do it for when they burn out in the future. He was a HUGE help. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
After a nearby dealer service department attempted to gouge me with a bunch of unneeded and/or overpriced repairs, stopped by to purchase a new vehicle battery. They explained all available options, were friendly and charged a fair price. Battery was installed in less than 15 minutes. They also looked at the list of dealer service recommendations for me and provided much more guidance on the real "risk" of these repairs than the supposed expert at the dealer. Nathaniel in particular should be commended for his stellar customer service as he was able to same day get the part from another store and install a cabin filter for me that dealer was going to charge over $100. Will use again whenever possible.
great location. i worked with Christian, he was extremely helpful. he helped replace my mom’s windshield wipers. very patient & kind. another employee helped as well, i didn’t catch his name though. very nice staff.
Drove my truck to the Auto Zone in Mundelein off of Lake Street for replacement wiper blades and headlamps, and the associate named Joey not only grabbed what I needed right away, but also helped put them onto my vehicle. This above and beyond customer service experience made for a great start to my day! Thanks again Joey, you’re awesome!!
***UPDATE-So after I sent them an email, reiterating what happened, I received NO RESPONSE FROM THE STORE OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH AUTOZONE!!! This company has Horrible customer service and doesn't care about their customers at all!! SO NOT SHOP HERE!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! GIVE SOMEONE ELSE YOUR MONEY AND BUSINESS!!!***
Wow, I'm REALLY disappointed in this location. We came here with 20 minutes until close. Spent time looking for our items, and neither associate said anything to us about them closing the cash register early. So when we got to the register to check out and it was 8 minutes to 8pm, they told us it was credit card only for payment. We only have cash on us at the moment. The associate hadn't even started counting the cash drawer yet, and he still insisted that we couldn't pay cash. So while we told him once again that we didn't have a credit card with us, he Then started to count the drawer in front of us. This is Horrible customer service and poor business practice. Your store doesn't say anything about "no cash" or "exact change only", and even if it was "exact change only", we would have provided exact change. Your associates only did this because they wanted to close exactly at 8pm. Which from my experience working in retail, is not proper procedure. They are supposed to take All transactions until the store closes at the posted time, then count the register. WE WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT ANY AUTO ZONE IN THE FUTURE, AND WILL BE SPREADING THE WORD THAT AUTO ZONE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE'S BUSINESS, THAT AUTO ZONE IS SO RICH THEY DON'T WANT OUR MONEY AND THEY CLOSE THEIR REGISTERS EARLY AND DECLINE CASH TRANSACTIONS!
