These guys are great. I've been buying my batteries here for years and they always take care of me and are super knowledgeable on what you need. No games, just straight excellent customer service with a great product.
They should get 10 stars! I've been here 3-4 times for our vehicles and they are always great and super helpful. This morning I was pulling battery from my in the parking lot, they ran me a ratchet to speed things up, brought me the new battery and took the old one. I just went in and paid the very inexpensive price. Great people, I'll always buy my batteries here
I bought a battery for my Toyota Highlander here. After 2 years of battery issues in winter (Interstate advised there was nothing wrong with the battery) I finally brought it to the dealership. There it was revealed that I had the wrong type of battery in my car. I needed a stop/start battery. I had no idea there was such a thing and apparently neither did Interstate. They were correct in that there was nothing wrong with the battery, it was just the wrong battery for my car.
I took my car to Interstate Battery today and had an excellent experience. Chris and another gentleman (I didn’t catch his name) went above and beyond to resolve the issue quickly. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. It’s rare to get this level of service, and I left very impressed and grateful. Highly recommend!
These nice folk had a nearly unique battery for.my older 1979 H.D. odd as the positive terminal is on the.left side.of the battery

Friendly staff, great service! I needed a new battery for my '77 Vette. The person behind the counter directed me to a couple of choices based on power and warranty. Made my choice, checked out quickly, and he carried the battery to my car for me. The store was neat, clean, and organized. I felt valued and would recommend to anyone needing a large battery.
The batteries aren't cheap but they stand behind them. I had a battery but it wasn't holding its charge.It was almost 2 years old They checked my battery and replaced it in a matter of five minute. Great service, good people.
This place is awful. Manager is very unprofessional and really rude. Guy spoke to me like I was 5 years old and wouldn't stop texting on his cell phone while I was speaking to him. ???
Chris the owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was in and out within 10 mins. You can't beat that. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a battery.
I purchased a battery for each of three cars…. Each with a 4 year warranty (within 2 years it is replaced, between 2 and 4 years it is replaced on a prorated basis). Car#1 had the battery fail at one year. Car#2 had the battery fail before the second anniversary. It was replaced under the warranty.
Car#3 had the battery fail at 2.5 years. The replacement for battery in car#3 cost me $15 less than the ORIGINAL purchase price.
Based on the experience with car #3, the 4 year warranty seems a little misleading (since I essentially purchased the replacement battery for almost the same price as the original!).
I’m not sure I will be making future purchases based on what I have experienced.
There service was outstanding! The people working here were very helpful, professional, and courteous. The person here took out and put on a new battery at no charge. They did this all very quickly and efficiently!
Very knowledgeable about the different models and variations! We showed them a picture of the battery we needed which they had in stock. We were out of there in 5 minutes!
The service and product they provide are unmatched. Always polite, clean, and always careful with installation with the batteries. I have been very happy with interstate batteries for years. I highly recommend it.
I purchased a battery on 10/03/2023. I was helped by a gentleman named Dave, he was extraordinarily helpful, he answered every single question I had (which were many.) Dave was efficient, knew what he was dealing with and had me out in under 30 minutes! Always appreciate places like this that really take their time to explain and help the costumer! Highly recommend.
I needed a special size battery to fit in my reproduction battery case for my antique car. Chris was able to get one for me. It fits perfectly and works like a charm.

This was the worst experience with these people in this place where they do not take into consideration the guarantee of your product that you bought with this company. I hope they learn to give better customer service, I definitely do not recommend this place
This was my second time to Interstate. They are great guys with wonderful customer service. First time checked my car battery after a jump. No charge and didn't need a new battery. Second time was for new batteries for my car fobs.

Interstate Battery is amazing. I have been going here for years. All the employees are very helpful. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Today I went there thinking I had a battery issue and it turned out to be something more. They were truthful with me even though they didn't make a sale. They were even concerned about me making it home safely. Highly Recommend them!
Interstate Batteries in Island Lake IL is where I get my batteries for all our vehicles and my boats. Dave, the manager always goes out his way to help me. Yesterday he installed 3 new batteries into my boat. Tom, the owner is phenomenal too! They’re all about service with integrity and keeping their customers satisfied. Hands down the BEST battery place in northern IL!!
They had what I needed in stock at a fair price and delivered it to me that day. When they showed up, I was surprised by how quickly they got it to me. I have been an Interstate customer for many years, the people are professional, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly the products are high quality and last. I will continue to do business with Interstate and recommend their products to friends, family, and customers.
Excellent service and products. Purchased some trolling motor batteries as well as a battery for my car. Tom installed a loaner car battery while they bench tested my current interstate battery overnight. Provided a warranty credit on my current 5 year old interstate battery to boot.
Needed to have batteries tested on used motorhome that we purchased. We can always count on Interstate for our vehicles, whether personal or business. The guys came out, tested our batteries, and confirmed that they were in good working condition. Did not recommend buying new batteries. When we're ready, we will be back!
Owner is very knowledgeable and down to earth. The building has some interesting history which we really enjoyed learning about. If you need any kind of batteries,this is the place to go!
My new go to place for Golf cart batteries. these guys were a wealth of knowledge and actually help me set it up so that I don't wreck this pair of batteries that I just bought. Highly recommended..... Cart is running like never before!!!
Unbelievable how awesome this place is. I bought a used battery here 2 years ago for $60. After 2 years of solid service I went back to get another one. They replaced it at no charge no questions asked! Thanks Chris and crew
