I came in to buy a new park light bulb and even showed an image of the part of my headlight that needed replacing and he insisted it was my turn signal bulb. I bought it anyway and just for it not to be the bulb I needed. If he wasn’t adamant to correct me I probably would have left satisfied.

I dealt with leo, I needed a part, the pricing quoted was more expensive than what they have listed on their own website. When I asked if they would price match their own website he laughed and said no. I've never seen a store that wouldn't price match their own website. I'd give him zero Stars if possible.

Shopping for parts are stressful specially when. You don't know much and those guys were very informative and very polite(which is a hard thing to find now a days).... been there twice this week and will return when needed.

Worst customer service ever… looks like you hate working there may be is time to find a different job something the you don’t have to talk to people. Never going back to this location.

Helpful staff working at this location. Helped run codes to figure out a fix & get the parts. Problem solved in short order.

SM Leo and ASM Glen are knowledgeable and open with part and product info that they know about, openly sharing everything they can with other employees and customers when they can about parts as things come up.

Almost all the salespeople at AutoZone in Wauconda are super helpful & knowledgeable! They usually patiently answer my litany of questions about what could be wrong with my car & take time to explain things that are a little more complex. You can always return something if it's not what you needed, without hassle. Decent prices too.

It's a very rainy morning. I'm soaking wet and I have a burnt out headlight in my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan. Ask the gentleman at the counter if he could possibly help me install it and he said that it was a very difficult insulation very hard to get to and unfortunately couldn't help me because he was alone in the store. I come from a customer service industry and even if I was the only one at my post I would have offered help. Would have been nice if he would at least taking a look and tried. Nevertheless I popped the hood myself in the parking lot and proceeded to change out the bulb on my own and less then 60 seconds. Not the kind of customer service experience that I would have expected is expected at a chain like autozone. Disappointing.

Don’t shop here one Employee said I get to just trade in the battery for a new one Because of the warranty than when I went straight There he said I guess not than I trade in my battery to get a new they said I get money back never happened waiting months for the 20 bucks back

BIG Gratitude to Tim, the store manager of Island Lake, IL AutoZone who went above & beyond to get a rusted plate screw off that I had spend hours trying to change out. He was friendly, helpful, generous & relentless =) He made it happen, then he offered to put the new plate on for me (which proved tricky so I'm so glad he offered to help) and all at no charge! Thanks so much Tim~Made my Day!

Nate helped me make sure I picked the correct headlights for my vehicle and even installed them for me. He was nice, friendly and even explained to me what he was doing. I was in and out of there in just a few minutes.

I think AutoZone is one of those places that has the most of something that you will never find anywhere else. I think this is the case in terms of light bulbs. I wandered in looking for a bulb for my RV refridgerator interior that turned out to be an automotive product. Who knew? So I went to AZ and had a good experience when the gentleman took the sample I had and went right to the area. I was sold what I needed making the trip a quick in and out. I was glad to see all the COVID precautions being taken at this store as well.

Rude service, 90% sure it was the manager. He knew nothing of what customer service is supposed to. Didn't realize asking someone to do their job was such an inconvenient thing. Best part about stopped in the day prior to figure out which part was needed for our car, returned the next said this is the part and he questioned us like we were the idiots. Save yourself time go somewhere else

Rude service!!! Discriminates against people who have disabilities. First off... No thanks to lung cancer, i have a physical limitation that limits my ability to wear a face mask. One day I walked into this location and the very first world the manager said was “ where is your mask?” Not hello. Not welcome. Nothing! I told him that i have a disability that prevents me from wearing one. He then try’s to tell me that I need to provide him proof. SORRY but no i don’t. It’s actually against the law for a business to ask you that. So I asked if he was going to refuse me service if i don’t? He said “you bet ya!” So I walked out and made a complaint. This was not the first time I’ve been treated poorly by this particular individual. I will never shop here again!

2 thumbs down. The older guys are cool peaple . But those new mr.knowitall need to stop. Specially if nobody asked you.

Waited in line patiently and when the guy behind the counter started to help me, he paused to take a phone call and spent five minutes ordering parts for the caller. The phone call may have lasted longer but I didn't wait around to find out. Perhaps I should have just called instead? Very rude and inconsiderate. I see the occasional response to reviews from the management so I would be happy to discuss.

They have parts. Can't say much more. Seems guys are out smoking half the time

I stopped in about a week or so ago looking for a headlight for my girlfriend's car. A young gentleman I believe his name was Mark help me out and we found just the right light bulb for her needs even explain to me how to put them in. Always get great service at AutoZone in Island Lake. Thanks again Mark appreciated your help.

OMG they reminded me yesterday again God still kept some good people in this earth. They help me up above and beyond.God bless you guys , specially the associate Tim is a very helpful and knowledgeable individual.

Manager completely rude when asking if they had a particular part in stock. Asking about the lifetime warranty on another part I had purchased years back also netted me a gruff response. If you hate your job working retail, don't work retail. Won't be back for their cheap Chinese replacement parts. The least Autozone can do is hire a pleasant employee if they choose to retain a brick and mortar storefront.
