I have come here for quite a few different issues ranging from small fixes to bigger repairs. All the staff is incredibly helpful. In an industry of with many thieves Pitstop stands out with honest explanations. They've never been pushy about fixing anything and a few times given me advice for free. They also price very extremely fair. Could not recommend more!
This place has fantastic service. The employees are really helpful and courteous. The cost is affordable, and they did a fantastic job when I came in for my car's service. I would recommend people to visit here….
Angela explained everything to me to be able to be on the same page which was helpful and the process ended up being shorter than expected! Will always come back here.
I first learned of pitstop a few years ago as a recommendation of a coworker. Like so many people, I do Doordash in addition to my primary job to make ends meet and 4o try to get ahead. I have been and continue to be impressed with pitstop. I'm able to watch while they work, but more importantly they actually show me any problems or issues. I feel safe with the work that they do and feel like I receive full value for the money spent.
They got us in quickly and provided very efficient service. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an oil change and coolant top-off, and they also checked for any additional maintenance we might need.
My fiancé and I have been going to a different place for oil changes for a long time and today that place was closed because of the day after Independence Day.
Thankfully Pit Stop was opened today and they were wonderful. Angela was the one who did my oil change and she was very helpful even gave me some tips about my engine and took care of my tires too. This place is also closer to our house so we will be coming back.
Went and got an oil change and was told they topped off all my fluids. The guy assured me he topped all my fluids off and I was good to go. He literally lied to my face because my coolant was empty which he said he put in and so was my windshield fluid. If they would lie to you about that what else will they lie about. Makes me question my oil change as well. Save yourself the headache and find honest people.
Come early at 8am, for a tune up and a check up to pass my emissions test. The guy with the tattoos was rude and right away told me that the just for him to check the car was going to be between 60 and 120 dollars.
Now the feed is understandable, it’s not a flat rate ok. Just the way of talking to your costumer, it drove me away.
Negative stars if that's an option. Do not trust google reviews; please look at Yelp. I recently had an unpleasant experience at this auto repair shop, and I feel it's important to share my concerns. Despite having an appointment and presenting a Groupon code, the mechanic seemed displeased. He proceeded to inquire about my appointment details, making the encounter less than welcoming.
Following the service, I was surprised to be charged an additional $17, as the mechanic claimed my Prius required a special oil filter instead of a standard one. When I sought clarification, the response was abrupt: "Just pay and get outta here." While I complied with the payment, I hesitated to sign the invoice. This led to an unprofessional outburst from the mechanic, who yelled, "Get the [expletive] out of here" to both me and my wife.
Such a lack of transparency regarding charges and the aggressive behavior we encountered raise concerns about the integrity of this establishment. It's disheartening when businesses fail to communicate effectively with their customers and resort to unprofessional conduct. I recommend exercising caution if considering their services.
Tony was amazing! He was fast and to the point! Even checked my battery and advised I needed a new one soon. I didn’t feel pressured to get additional stuff done, like I do at ”other” places! I will continue to get my car serviced at the Pitstop on Summit St for sure!
I am new for this shop, Someone recommended to this soap. Since then I am their loyal customer now, I got old 2006 Volvo S60 2.5T with 180K miles.
Cisco and Jose give me different look of my car performance wise, they’re very honest and very reasonable, So far I saved more than $ 500.00 in four or five different Jobs with this soap.

My battery light went on and screen said battery not charging so i stopped in to see if they could help. It went from maybe i needed an alternator to Freddy and Angela telling me no need the cables were tightened and things are good. Thank you for your honesty, that meant so much to be. Honest mechanics are hard to find. Well i just did.
Went in there for an oil change on my truck. No prices posted, hadn't done a trans flush in a while so they offered it so I said go ahead and do it. walked out of there paying $288.The guy that helped me looked at me like I was crazy when I said "wait, how much?' I'll take the blame for not asking the price, but when you pull in somewhere for an oil change and they offer you something else you don't expect to walk out of there paying damn near $300. I was there 20 min tops, very shady would advise going to Pep boys across the street instead.
I personally enjoyed my experience here. I’m new to the area and I’m used to the pull up oil change places that garentee it under 10/15 minutes. These guys were friendly, quick and efficient. Would like to see this spot grow as a local business. A little more sprusing up and cleaning in the guest seating are and continue to have quick and efficient customer service and I can see this place booming as a regulars oil change spot. Granted I know they do other type of work here but for the convenience of a regular quick and easy oil change spot this place was great.

I called because my oil cap chipped and it was slightly leaking oil. I needed an emergency oil change, and they told me they wouldn't even look at it. So I went to Mobile 1 Lube Express on E. Chicago street and they immediately told me to come in and they will take a look at it with no hesitation. They were competent, caring, and professional. I was in and out of there within 30 minutes.
This place use to be good. My car has lost oil twice, down to the engine light coming on with them doing my oil changes. They temporary fix it until it drains again. Each fix took about 45 minutes. Wouldn't recommend.
