Reckless drivers!! I was driving in 20 and one of there drivers so on my tail and not slowing down. I was driving 5-10 mph over the speed limit. I finally had to put my turn signal on to take a right and he didn’t slow down!! I had to take it so fast so he wouldn’t hit me!! Unbelievable!! People drive with their family and kids in their cars!! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!
Car broke down on the toll road today. The toll road emergency truck called Redmon’s towing in Schaumburg and they showed up within 30 minutes. I have AAA but they didn’t know when they would be able to dispatch a truck for me…makes me 2nd guess why I have AAA.
Anyways, the driver was very professional and was able to tow my car to the shop near my house, which was 35 miles away. It was a costly tow, so hopefully AAA will reimburse the full amount.
Always make sure you tip your driver, if we can tip a server to bring us food…better tip the driver that bails you when you’re stranded on the side of a busy highway.
Pretty sure I only ran out of gas, but didn’t know at the time. As I was sitting in the far left turn lane on Schaumburg and Barrington with a Schaumburg police office waiting for Redmonds towing. Dylan from Redmonds showed up and towed our suv into the Target free of charge. As if the day wasn’t stressful enough, just this amazing kind man helped us out more than he will ever know! I'm a Company Semi Truck Driver & had a Service Air Supply Issue. Tow Driver showed up to work on Truck, helped me try to assess issue! While getting set up to Tow the Drive Shaft couldnt be removed & had to Pull Drive Axels instead! Took longer to move from area, but was able to Tow truck to Dealership with Trailer attached in Heavy Traffic. Was also asked to drop trlr in designated spot and made it happen! Tow driver was professional and did a Great job! Thanks Redmon's Towing!

Stupid place didn’t provide any evidence of towing!! The car was on front of the garage, and garage was opened, not even notice that I can’t park there before towing!
Called for a tow with my location. Explained my motorcycle threw a rod through the case but was still able to be rolled. Why I was arguing with the lady on what a thrown rod is as if she didn’t believe me while stranded on the highway was baffling. I will never work with Redmon’s or recommend to anyone. Look else where.
THE WORST! Had my vehicle towed and one of the drivers stole 1k from my bag. Money that I had for my college tuition. And they do not want to take accountability for THEIR workers! Not the first time this has happened.(look ant other reviews) Already reached out to the higher ups. Icc
Whoever is their employee is that drives this truck is awful and was very close to causing MANY accidents on the road. He’s a danger! I would never dare to use their service!
I was in an accident and had to have my car towed. I asked EC "the driver" how much to tow it a half mile to my house, instead of their yard where you script storage fees fault. EC told me $400. While then towing it to their yard costs me $250. Plus storage fees of $40 a day. The employees out of the Schaumburg location are very rude and I would never recommend Redmon's Towing to anyone. Use West and sons, or Wes', or even Family Towing. Any of these others would be better than Redmon's
Their signs have been broken and laying in the grass like garbage for over a year now. No way to get to a working website or way to contact anyone from the company. How much longer do we have to look at this making our neighborhood look like this with their signs.
For a 50 year old company they will damage you car picking it up from parking lot.
No care what so ever, and easy 200 dollars for them.

It’s not cheap to get your Car towed. It never is, but they’re there to help you and they are very reasonable considering what their investment is on their end! Staff was courteous and kind, and I would recommend them to anybody. I have used their service more than once
I would put ZERO stars if the system would allow it!
They put LARGE INVALID stickers on your car which do NOT come off. This damages your car & degrade the value of your car! Then after they have damaged your vehicle, they will NOT pay to fix the damage THEY caused!

Pretty sure they robbed me in the sense of high prices. I went into a ditch on Rt 20 & the police called this place to come help. Crash site wasn’t even 10 mins away from my home where I wanted it to be towed. Ended up paying 400$. And top it off, they aren’t careful when unloading the car down the ramp. Nicked my front number in the process. NEVER CALL THRSE GUYS FOR HELP
Left my flashers on all day and killed my battery. Not a mistake because the car next to mine they left there flashers on also. No respect and deserve to go out of business
I called the evening after my vehicle was towed here, to inquire how to come retrieve my belongings from my (probably totaled) car. The woman who answered was very kind and patient in explaining what I need to bring to show proof that this is my vehicle, in order for me to gain access.
When I arrived, I was greeted by Stephan and Yasmine. Both of them were friendly and ready to help when I walked in the door. I explained that I had just called, and I shared my ID and documents.
Yasmine helped to look up my vehicle and get the keys, and Stephan was very compassionate in asking if I was OK, after such a terrible car accident. I told both of them how surprised I was by their kindness and helpfulness. I've had some terrible experiences with the Chicago pound after an enderly family member was carjacked, and I had genuine fear of how I was going to be treated here, or whether I would be denied access to my vehicle for some absurd, expensive, lot policy. This did not happen.
Thank you, Yasmine and Stephan. Your kindness and compassion made this stressful situation much less so. After the trauma of the accident, it was just what I needed.

Be sure if you are in an accident and being taken away by ambulance you grab any valuables first. They towed my car and I picked up my personal items the next day and my cash was missing from the middle console. If you don’t have anything else to worry about with a crash, it’s now also shady drivers going through your stuff and pocketing cash! I hope karma bites you back
I was broadsided by a drunk driver taken to the hospital. Redmond‘s towing in Elgin was contracted by the ELGIN Police Department to scoop up by Dodge pick up. When I went to retrieve my belongings, I had filled up two hours before my accident come in and find out that I had less than a quarter tank of gas in my pick up. My new battery was replaced with an old junkie one I would not recommend them.
Rude and extremely outrageous prices. They nicked my beautiful car and told me too bad. Filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and you should too!

The customer service from the driver Richard (RGII5) was horrible. He was rude and stated he basically was frustrated because he had to come out on a Sunday. Attitude was piss poor and unprofessional. I won’t use them again and wouldn’t recommend you to either. Also going to tell me insurance company don’t recommend them as well.
They got lazy and never moved the sign on top. The whole tow truck moved they still didn’t think the sign on top is heavy and should be moved even though they charged for calling heavy duty equipment to move it. They messed the car more then it needed to be. damage was just on left side they messed the whole right side up too.

He really explained everything to me, (my son was in the hospital) so kind and explained everything to me. Was so careful with my son’s car. He even told me how to place wheel chocks. Also price for towing was within reason compared to other companies.

I got on Rt 20 west in Elgin in a construction zone at 5:15 pm during rush hour on Monday, June 24, 2024, I was trying to merge before the lane ended at Rt 31. A Redmon's driver pulled up behind me in a heavy duty truck. He was tailgating me to the point that if I had even lightly applied the brakes, he would have hit me. The whole time, he was honking, flashing his lights, and swerving back and forth. There was nowhere for me to go. There was nowhere for HIM to go and absolutely no reason for him to drive so aggressively and dangerously. Then, in typical a$$hole fashion, he flipped me off when he served around me, cut off the person two cars ahead of me almost causing an accident before sitting in the traffic backup with the rest of us.
Once again scammers avoid this company they will give you a quote and they will charge you different amount as soon as it will come and hook it up your vehicle they will give you different price avoid this company. This business not deserves any business around Illinois. Total scammers I always recommend Golf and busse Towing in this case, Redmonds Towing was closer. I thought they will do a job, but they just came to rip us off. Avoid this company
Had driver named Christopher, extremely professional, timely and polite. Did the job right. Caused no extra damage to my vehicle. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend.
Driver stole my Oakley sun glasses and some other cheap little things.They said they didn't enter my vehicle. I brought this up to management and of coarse deny, deny, deny. Tell me how a locked car, that was still locked at the lot had stuff taken? And their fees are ridiculous. Staff is rude, drivers are thieves. They clearly deserve their terrible ratings. I wouldn't tow with them if they were the only company around. I went to other tow company's and understandably it stinks having your car towed but I've never been treated as bad as this place anywhere else. BEWARE!!
THEY ARE THIEVES! I totaled my car and when I go to retrieve my belongings I’m missing $450 from my wallet! My wallet was in the glove compartment and never got out even after the crash, I’m guessing the money just walked out of my wallet!!!
