Greg is the most honest mechanic iv ever met, he tells you what you need and how much it will cost before he does any work, always great with communication and speed of service, iv taken all my cars there for years and always been extremely happy, best prices anywhere and will take care of your car like it's their own. Not knowing anything about cars, it's hard to trust someone to be honest with you and also give you great service but this place fits both. They took amazing care of my car. Not only were they quick and friendly but let me pay over the phone and pick my car up after hours so I didn't have to leave work early. Full Review:
After a trip to visit my parents in Jville this week, my rear passenger side tire had a slow leak, so having the road hazard warranty, I went to Walmart to get it fixed. While in, I told them to go ahead and do a balance as well. They came back and told me my front tires had some play and they couldn't work on them.
Luckily for me, GK Auto was open. From the moment I arrived, Greg was very helpful and understanding. He asked how long we would be in town and said he could have it done before we had to leave.
We had to get the upper control arms and lower bushings replaced and while he had it torn apart, we had him replace the front shocks as well. Not only did he get everything done in 4 hours, he came in UNDER his quote.
It's rare when you find a local mechanic that you enjoy working with, but here we have found a mechanic that walks you through the repairs you need in language you can understand AND for a very reasonable rate. I only wish he was in Salina KS so I could have them do all our vehicle work.
Greg was also very friendly, understanding, and caring. So glad we went in for our repairs instead of driving home and having my control arm break and do thousands more in damage and be stuck on the side of the road in single digits temps with my wife and kids.

They checked out my issue free of charge and even managed to squeeze me in on a busy day for a quick look. They were very friendly and explained my car's issues in a way I could understand and even used diagrams and pictures.
