I went into oreillys to leave my old used oil which was 3.75 gallons. The sales guy said we can’t accept this cause you are only allowed to leave 5 gallons to recycle per day per customer. It wasn’t even 5 gallons. He accepted the 15 quarts and I filled out paper work. He acted like he did not want my business so I’ll never step foot in another oreillys ever again. I’ll just take my business else where since you don’t need my business.
Tim was 10/10 with assisting us. He knew how to help us with everything we needed and answered every question we had. He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly kind.

Stopped at Murphysboro’s store as radio and back up camera would not work. Removed the fuse panel and located the culprits.?Michael was awesome. He tested and replaced the bad fuses. Thank you.

On my way to work this morning my driver side windshield wiper popped off the metal arm. My brother had tried to fix it previously when replacing the wiper blade and wasn’t able to. I stopped at O’Reilly’s in Murphysboro and explained I was low on funds, but needed a new driver side wiper blade. So, I purchased one from the Assistant Manager didn’t get his name. He had to take a phone call on the way out to my car to put the new one on, so Mike took over and in the rain attempted to put the new wiper blade on and he had the same problem my brother had. He worked with it and worked with it, he finally said let’s go see if we can find one that fits. He tried three different types and the third one worked!! He was extremely nice, knowledgeable and didn’t hesitate at all to go above and beyond to make sure I had a new wiper blade before I left. I was freaking out a little bit, but Mike got my wiper blade changed and I was good to go. He told me they’d get it taken care of and he did! I was in and out in under 20 minutes!!!! Good group of guys that work there!
Our Volvo had fuel lines hanging almost to the street and our son needed to go to college the next day. O'Reilly's fixed it for nothing using some zip ties we bought. I love them for that!
Last week I received help from Bobby at the Murphysboro location. I walked into the store knowing I needed one new headlight and a new set of break lights but other than that I had no idea what exact bulbs I was needing or how to install them. As a young woman who is still learning about her vehicle, it is often that I come across men who work in the auto parts industry who talk down to me or try to sell me unnecessary, expensive parts assuming I don’t know any better. I was nervous going into the store. Bobby immediately put my mind at ease and helped me find exactly what I was needing at the best price point at which I could afford. He not only helped me in store, but he took the time to show me and TEACH me how to install my own break lights and head lights. He never once talked down to me or made me feel less than for not knowing how to install lights on my vehicle. Bobby showed great kindness, and respect towards me and provided me with the confidence and knowledge to better service my vehicle moving forward. Thank you Bobby!!
First time customer at this store and was impressed. I needed a new battery and the gentleman hooked me up in a matter of minutes. I just stood at the counter and they did all the work. They were so polite. I will be happy to return and give them my business in the future.
Posting for my uncle William Taylor: Yesterday, 9-20-2023 had problems with truck. He went to the Murphysboro, IL location and employee Mike went above and beyond in getting a battery changed out, and then changing out alternator. They were very helpful. But I did make a request: a place to sit down in while waiting for assistance - for someone like me who has breathing problems. I hope they give this careful consideration.
Me and another gentleman was waiting to check out because an employee was helping a customer. In the meantime while waiting another lady walks in, and an employee from the back jumps directly up and helps her out and waits on her directly.I left the trailer plug extension on there island and left,so did the other guy. I would say they were going to use the excuse as possibly being a online order, but I bought it online from that store and had to wait in line to get it. I will never go back to none of the O'Reilly's.

I tried to purchase items, but the staff was in the back and paying no attention to the sales floor. I tried to get their attention, but they were talking to loudly amongst themselves. I left and left what I was trying to purchase by the door. Places like this just need to go out of business. This was Thursday morning if management would like to investigate
The only reason I gave it a one star is so I could leave this comment. Had to place two different orders to get what I ordered the first time, the new women “Cheyenne” who took my order didn’t know what she was doing had to go to the store to show her what to order. Then when it came in I didn’t receive a call to let me know they were there so I call three days later to check on them and guess what that B**** sent them back.
Would be 5 stars, if it wasn't for the guy at the register who assisted me, without a mask. It's bad enough dealing with fellow shoppers in stores, without masks... shouldn't have to worry about staff too...
2/26/20 at about 4:20 pm. I have gone to numerous O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Stores and have never had such poor service. My fan blower had just gone out on my ‘94 GMC and I pulled into the store in Murphysboro to ask them to check my fuse(s), stating that I could not see which one it was or if it were good or bad. There were three people behind the counter and they all just avoided looking at me, each one saying, ‘I don’t know nothin’ ‘bout electronics. You need to take it to a shop.’ At the O’Reilly’s in Anna, ALL of their employees come out to your vehicle, offer to take a look, try something, make an educated guess. The Unknowledgeable one is supposed to be the customer, right? So I will try the store in Anna next. But if I ever need a second job to pick up extra money, since I know nothing about electronics, I will apply at the O’Reilly’s in Murphysboro.
Went in for new wiper blades and headlights. The gentleman behind the counter was gracious and eager to help me not only pick the exact parts I needed, but also helped to switch out my wiper blades. I will always shop here for my auto needs!
these fellrs here help us out in a major way. we are from missouri, broke down got towed to them and those guys there where so very kind an helpful to us thank the good lord above. the prices where very reasonable the store an bathrooms was nice an clean id recommend any one to shop there thank you so much mr.austin!
Everyone we encountered was helpful and polite. Austin replaced my battery in the parking lot, it was a pain to get out but he did not complain once and did an excellent job. Highly recommend
