This is a great old-style roadside attraction. Be sure to buy the $1 token to make the dragon breathe fire. Buy a second token as a keepsake.

Its a silly, derpy dragon that seems very out of place. But that's the charm! Cross the road to the liquor store and ask the clerk for a token, it costs $1. She retrieved the token from a fireball whiskey bucket, how fitting! He breathes fire only for about 10 seconds. Don't go expecting a full on show or professionally made movie prop. Someone made this, like folk art. But I thought it was cute and quirky and glad we went a few minutes out of the way to stop.

Love to watch it breath fire get a token from the liquor store across the street.

The Kaskaskia Dragon is a simple roadside attraction where you can break up the monotony of a road trip. The dragon can breathe fire, but you must buy tokens from the liquor store across the street, or the building supply store down the road in order to activate this feature.

It's a FIRE BREATHING DRAGON!!! what's not to like?? Easy to get the $1 tokens across the drive. Nice liquor store with a done thru! Definitely a must stop

We went at sunset and it was epic. You can get tokens (to make the dragon breathe fire) at the liquor store right next to it, but it is cash only. They are $1 each.

This was pretty awesome! A friend and myself decided to take a spur of the moment road trip and ended up not far from here. And found out about the dragon from Google maps. Was definitely not disappointed when we decided to go ahead and drive the extra 20 minutes to see the dragon!!

Fun stop. You can make the dragon breath fire ? buy the coin at the store near by. So cool!!

The Case dragon is the quintessential roadside attraction. It’s kinda cool to see the welded metal art. You need to get a token from either the liquor store or the other store next to the dragon. No cost for the token.

It's a cute roadside attraction. Tokens are $1 each for 10 seconds of fire (it goes by quick, so be ready if you want to get a photo). I bought it at the liquor store (cash only), and they are open late, so that's convenient. The fire only blows a couple feet in front of the dragon's mouth, so it's nothing huge but also not dangerous at all.

It's a short stop but a cute little experience. 1 dollar for a dragon coin and it spits fire for 10 seconds.

Quick roadside attraction! Great place to stretch the legs! Grab a token from the local liquor store for $1 and you can see fire come out of the dragons mouth ?

Great stop. Every time I go out west from Ohio, I go into the hardware store, get some road snacks and a couple coins to activate it's awesome fire breath and just take in the feel of the road trip!!

Not bad for $1. You do have to get tokens from the Mach 21 liquor or Kaskaskia supply stores, so be mindful of their hours.

It really does breathe fire! Get tokens for it at the shop just across the street! It instantly starts but the wind is a big factor visually. And the shop doesn't know off hand exactly how much fuel is in the dragon tank so you kind of get what you get. Tokens are $1 each and it's still very worth the stop. It's just so fun!

So fun! If you are driving by, stop at the liquor store across the street for a $1 token which gets you 10 seconds of flames. There is a small RV campground there as well with a dump and power. No water. I don't recommend for tent camping. There are no bathrooms around after the hardware store closes. (Register for camping at the hardware store.)

Fun little roadside oddity! Cool keepsake token if you don't use it to make the dragon breathe fire (or buy extra to keep, how often can you get a souvenir for $1). We drove a couple of hours out of the way to find this dragon and we would do it again! Maps said it would be "closed" by the time we got there, but the liquor store across the street also sells the tokens, not just the hardware store. Get out and road trip, enjoy the company, find the oddities, make the memories!

Super cool random roadside attraction to break up our road trip! We HAD to stop. We went to the hardware store for the coins to make him breathe fire. There was even a Geocache onsite and an RV park next to it.

A good pit stop and picture opportunity, we got some tokens from the liquor store across the street. They cost $1.00 each cash only and give you enough time to snap a couple pics or a short video.

It was a cool little roadside attraction. There isn't much to it, but if you enjoy quirky things like this, then I'd recommend the stop. The dragon isn't huge, and the fire isn't either, but I still had fun. You do have to get the coins at the liquor store across the street, and they are a dollar each, cash only. The lady did let me know the fire comes on immediately once you drop the coin, so be ready for your picture.

A very fun roadside attraction. Buy your tokens at the liquor store in the parking lot. Tokens are 1 dollar and the fire he breathes last for about 10 seconds. Make sure your camera is ready to go!!

Super cool roadside attraction. If you have time while you are in the area, it is worth the time to stop and purchase a token so you can see the dragon breath fire. Tokens are sold at the liquor store across the street. Dragon only breathes fire for 10 seconds.

It was too early in the day to get the tokens to make the dragon breathe fire but we still had fun checking him out. There is a spot in front of the dragon that you can stop your car at so you're not on the road. #bucketlist

Do something different - make a dragon breathe fire! Stop by the supply store and pick up some free (yes, free!!) tokens and then go to the dragon, enter your token, make a wish and the dragon will breathe fire! It’s cute and a great way to break up a long road trip.

One of my biggest disappointments in life is that I got to the Kaskaskia Dragon two hours before the liquor store opened up and couldn't get a token to see it breathe fire. Regardless, was a fun pitstop to see something totally unique on our cross country drive. Maybe next time...

A great picture opportunity, we got some tokens from the liquor store across the street. They cost $1.00 each and give you enough time to snap a couple pics or a short video. I would suggest adding a roaring noise to it to add to the effect, but otherwise very cool! One Pokestop here for the Go players, and what a great one to get a gift from!

If you are driving for the long haul on I-70 and you need a bit of excitement while stretching your legs, this was a cool stop. Grab a golden token from the liquor store across the street, drop it into the machine while making a wish and it’s flame on. I was expecting more than 6 seconds of flame but for a dollar you get what you pay for. Be careful stepping off of the podium if it’s raining, those big footprints are slippery when wet.

Cute place to stop and show the kids the fire breathing dragon. You need to stop in the liquor store across the street for your $1 token for 10 seconds of firebreathing fun!! It only takes a moment but worth it for the kids.

It was beautiful my only complaint is you can buy tokens at the stores right beside it and it takes one token to have the dragon breathe fire but after 10 tokens and it never shot any fire! On a positive note they are going to fix it ASAP!
