I went to Firestone for a transmission fluid drain and fill. Started getting a check engine warning light that was diagnosed as transmission warning codes. Was informed by Nissan service manager that the wrong transmission fluid was used in the drain and fill performed by Firestone. Nissan CVT transmissions require a specific transmission fluid and the Firestone technician failed to use the correct one. TRANSMISSION COULD HAVE HAD CRITICAL FAILURES / BLOWN TRANSMISSION!! Nissan did a complete drain and fill with correct fluid.

Every time I visited, not often, they have been great. Great front people, Carla and Emily, I needed new front tires and they offered a good price and could get me I that day and have it finished the same day. Plus they are close to the house, 1.5 miles!
David was superb in communicating repairs needed for my daughter. For years, this Wheaton location has consistently been excellent in their service, advisement for safety, prioritizing and candid opinion with the customer always first in mind. Value is exceptional. Safety first. You make it EASY.
Had a unique wheel and tire issue with my vehicle. Emily and the staff worked really hard to remedy the problem. I ended up having to order a new OEM wheel and they fixed my problem in a timely, professional & efficient manner.

Appreciate Emily who was able to go over our invoice with a fine-tooth comb to verify we had warranty items and was able to significantly reduce our bill. To have a staff person with such expertise and integrity is a true gift for Firestone and we are so grateful
I took my car in on Dec 6th due to the engine light coming on. They told me the problem and reached out to the warranty company. The warranty company gave myself and David, the manager of Firestone, the HARDEST time. They were acting like they didn’t want to pay for the issue. David and I stayed on top of them and I finally got the issue fixed in 5 mins. Thank you David and the Firestone team!!!

I was near this firestone when my car was having trouble starting and I decided to ask for help from here. Angel was kind enough to follow me back to my car and jump start it for me.🥺 I was an hour away from home so I was really worried and cold since this happened around 6pm. I really appreciate his kindness since he went out of his way to help a stranger that wasn’t even one of their customers unlike other places I called to try and get help from. I had a great experience getting my oil change done here! The service was quick, professional, and super friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and even helped me find the best deal available so I could save money. It’s rare to find such honest and helpful customer service these days. I definitely recommend coming here if you want quality work and people who truly care about their customers. Shout out Angel, Emily, and Mike for always giving my car the best service. At Firestone, they show me tests they ran, and can walk me through the physical evidence so I can make the best decision on when to get a part serviced. It’s an honest business in my experience. They’ll be a lot more up front than say certain dealerships who will just stack services for the sake of mileage instead of need.

This location was quite great. I was in and out with an oil change, inspection, and rotation within about an hour. David gave me a comprehensive break down of the inspection without over pressuring any of the suggested work. Will be back!

I called this place to get a quote for an air intake hose replacement because I couldn’t get the screw undone to put the new one on. David told me to just come down to the shop and they would probably just be able to switch it out. When I got there I spoke to a woman with long blonde hair and told her what happened and she even came out to help me unscrew it. When the screwdriver didn’t work, Nar came over with a ratchet socket and got it off immediately. Then within 10 minutes popped the new hose on and I was good to go! This was the best service I’ve ever received from an auto shop by far! Great people serving their community!

I thought my first time experience was amazing, everyone was nice helpful. I came in for an oil change the people there showed me how to schedule a perfect appointment right for me. When I arrived at Firestone I was in and out. In the past i would have so many issues with jiffy lube, after coming to Firestone I know who to come to for now on
David was the nicest employee I have interacted with at this location in a long time!!!! I needed a tire fixed—The woman I originally made the appt with did not put me on the schedule! I got a nail in my tire on the way home from work. I called up this Firestone and spoke to Angel about getting my tire patched. It was 6:45pm and the store closed at 7pm. Angel was able to squeeze me in even though it was after regular store hours. I can count on one hand the amount of retailers out there that still offer this level of customer service. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Angel and his crew are top notch. Couldn't recommend them more. Thanks again!
