I came here to have my car battery replaced. I made the appointment on the Walmart app a week prior, and they told me they couldn't service my car because Walmart doesn't work on that model. The app literally has my car's information, and I've never made any modifications. No one wanted to listen to me; they just kept repeating that it wasn't their fault. The store manager laughed at me and told me that I had made the appointment myself and that I had to call the corporation to file a complaint. The situation was very disappointing. Only one of the managers told me he was sorry; the other three just wanted me to leave and move on.

I literally came here today so they can change my tire. I was talking to the phone and they said that they will able to help me. I once I came in they said there was no place in the available. One is on Monday, which is three days. I cannot believe they lied to me.

Came three weeks ago to get a new tire tire was not available had to order tire first available appointment was 12/11. Called today spoke with a Olgar very unprofessional asked of I could Possible be seen sooner told me no he don’t know what to tell me others have been waiting longer. He doesn’t need a job in customer service maybe doing janitorial work to avoid the public

I was charged $560 to get new tires and to get them installed . The tires screws was not placed back on correctly. I had to then pay $265 to tow my car how then to shop and pay $80 dollars at a shop to check and tighten the screws . I’m $905 down the drain and Walmart doesn’t want to help . What good is the Warrenty . Big waste of money .

They do not put the wheels on correctly . I payed for my tires to get installed there on Thursday and on Sunday the wheel came off while on express way . Find a better Walmart auto center

Worst experience ever at Walmart's Auto Center. DO NOT DO IT!!! Ordered item was not onsite as indicated by Walmart. No one called me to advise prior to my scheduled service time at 9am. Then they called me at 11am to advise it was there and they would get me right in since they failed to provide the scheduled service at 9am. Went back to store at 11:15am. They couldn't find the item. Then found it. THEN I WAITED AN HOUR AND FORTY- FIVE MINUTES prior to them even pulling in the car. Total joke. Took six hours of day instead of 45 minutes. Their entire status broken. Go elsewhere for your auto (and other) needs and services.

Worst “team lead” person ever….not helpful at all basically washed his hands and even had the nerve to say I should google the number he dosent have a number that I can get help I have a tire warranty that is still active meets the standards and say he can’t help not even bother to look at my tires….. plus I didn’t like how he spoke to the young man to come back and translate. If you can’t handle customers needs why work in a retail store smh

Please train your staff for the love of god. Dropped off my car here for tire rotation that was covered by the extras we purchased with our tire at Walmart, and I get a call to ask what is my current mileage and if we have already driven 5k miles!!!! You have the car and the record in your system!!!! Horrible experience.

Had my headlights polished and Diego and Ulger did a great job and great customer service. There are always great to work with and do a great job, which is getting harder to find these days. David who rings me up is always very helpful and does a great job as well !!! Thanks as always guys !!

I went here to get 2 tires replaced under the road hazard warranty. Tires were just installed maybe 6 weeks ago, before they were damaged. The vehicle does have some frame rust. Our regular mechanic @ another shop advised against putting it on a lift. So when we bought the new tires, we explained this, and Walmart said no problem. The install would understandably take longer, doing them 1 at a time. However, 6 weeks later, when it came time to use my warranty, they refused to do the job unless it went up on the lift. They said they tapped on the frame & no rust fell, therfore it was safe. Pretty sure he was just too lazy to haul the floor jack out.I asked them to sign something taking responsibility. They refused. The Mgr was supposedly in a meeting, but as soon as they started on the tire change, the auto Mgr, store Mgr, & 2 others showed up to hover, yet would not speak to me. They finished, pulled the vehicle out, played around with the valve stems for about 15 minutes, then decided to check my tread wear. From 6 weeks of driving? Another 15 minutes. Almost 2 hours later (to change out 2 tires) I was finally free. Never again. They have no problem doing what it takes when you're dropping a grand on tires, but getting warranty work done was nearly impossible. Side note: the young man behind the counter during check-in was pleasant & professional.

The Worst Customer Service. Had An Appointment at 11am Didn't Leave This Place Until 2:20 Because My Car Didn't Get Taken Care Of Until 12:45 . Absolutely Ridiculous, But The Worst Was The Customer Service . Starting From The Very Lost And Unprofessional Guy up At The front Desk Named David, He Definitely Didn't Know What He Was Doing. The Team Lead On Duty Was Even Worst. Very Rude And Didn't Seem To Care About The Situation, Instead Of Trying To Find A Solution He Raised His Voice At Me Infront Of The Rest Of The Customers In Line , Because I Didn't Ask For The Name Of The Guy That Greeted Me. A Huge Lack Of Professionalism. I Would Give 0 Stars If I Could, Avoid This Place.

1-Star Review for Walmart Auto Care Center Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I scheduled an appointment for tire installation, but when I arrived, the staff informed me they couldn’t perform the job because I didn’t bring a piece of equipment they should already have in their shop to lift my car. Instead of taking accountability or offering a solution, they canceled my appointment, handed me the tires I purchased, and told me to go elsewhere. To make matters worse, the department manager, Ron, was incredibly rude and condescending. He cared more about his title than resolving the issue or helping a customer. When I requested a refund, he flat-out refused and insisted it was my fault, even though this is something their shop should have been equipped to handle. This experience was a complete disgrace for Walmart. Management and staff clearly lack basic customer service skills and professionalism. I will never return to this location and will warn others to avoid it as well. If I could give zero stars, I would.

This review is for Ron, the team lead at the Rolling Meadows location. I am disappointed with his attitude towards customers. He seemed uninterested in helping me and was more focused on flirting with female customer. I visited the auto center to have a flat tire repaired, but Ron informed me that I needed an appointment. When I asked for an appointment, he asked for the tire size, which I did not know. I requested that he search for the tire size by make and model, but he refused, stating that I needed to know the exact tire size for the repair. After some discussion, he reluctantly scheduled an appointment for me. However, he refused to honor the Walmart Plus member benefit of free flat tire repair, regardless of where the tire was purchased. It seemed like he simply did not want to assist me and was only interested in getting paid. I have attached a photo of the Walmart Plus member benefit information, which clearly states that flat tire repair is included. Additionally, the pricing display at the auto center also mentions this benefit. I would advise customers to avoid this auto center due to the poor customer service I experienced.

Few days ago I changed tires on my car, service was absolutely Perfect. Auto Care department manager Juan was super polite, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I am extremely happy with this place, and he told me oil change for my Land Rover is only $77. Other places charging me over $100... Thank u Juan.. I will be back!!!!

Purchased new tires here because they had the Black Friday sale and were the cheapest around. Prices was great but when they installed my tires two of my tire pressure sensors were out. The tech didn’t notify me and just let installed the tires. Once I get my car back on the paperwork it said they asked me to see if I wanted them replaced which they never did so now I have schedule another appointment to get these installed. Very bad communication with the team here. You would think there would be an auto manager there to correct things like this but no there isn’t. Next time I would just purchase the tires and get them installed else where.

I ordered 4 tires online. Installation was done at the Rolling Meadows location. I was pleased with the service and knowledge provided by Roniel and his staff. Roniel also explained other issues with my SUV that needed attention including the rims and sensors. He also recommended the tire coverage warranty. Thank you for your exceptional customer service!

The auto care staff as a whole are special, they make sure you are well taken care of, the manager made sure my tire replacement was a smooth process while using my warranty. There was also a rowdy customer cursing at them because he was upset about his service, they remained calm addressing his problem!

I've been in another Walmart Auto Center in Palatine, and they said that my tire has to be changed because it can't be fixed, but here in this location, the manager really takes care of the customer and did perfect job on my tire. I didn't buy a new tire, and that saved me a lot of money. I would definitely come back again. Thank you Mr manager!

Ordered 4 tires from Walmart online for installation at store 2815(Rolling Meadows IL.) But only 3 arrived (wrong size and brand,) after waiting 2 weeks. Personnel begin to do what I see all too often today - struggle to make things right. Fortunately in stepped Ms.Dabros, Who listened and acted directly, ordered 4 replacement tires and scheduled installation with the promise of making good on Walmart customer service. This was the best response I have ever had in the last 20 years. The auto department was clean and organized. The tire installation went flawlessly.

Extremely unorganized and slow service. Appt times are not honored had a 3pm appt didn’t start in my car till 3:30pm. The cashier was not knowledgeable about the warranty. The actual mechanics take way too long to change a tire. The guy had my car in the air for 15 mins and then realized he had to go and get the tire to balance etc. I’ve been to a neighborhood tire shop and was in and out in 15 mins. Do not recommend

David, the cashier in the auto center seemed lost. Checked in at 1pm. On my car were tires previously bought from Walmart. I had the receipt in my hand and show it to him, to which he responds have you ever been to Walmart/what type of tires do you have. I repeat that it is all on this paper in my hand that I just gave to you. I explain my situation and tell him I have the road hazard warranty. He tells me it will be a while and gives me a sticker. He stated the mechanics will look at it first, because they do not know what/where the problem is, and from there they will make a plan. Using the Walmart app and the sticker it says my car is ready at 4pm. I ask David, the cashier, if my car is ready and he says I need a text. I show him the app and he smirks at me and says “need a text.” I then patiently waited in the waiting room. Once I see the mechanics closing for the day around 6pm I ask David for an update. He finally checks the computer and it said my car was completed at 4pm. David, the cashier, tells me there is nothing they can do for my flat tire. I’m not a mechanic but changing the tire may be a good start. I happily drove away on my flat tire and went to discount tires the next day. 10/10 recommend over this Walmart

Worst mechanics I have ever had to deal with. I came in for a simple tire pressure check and was told it will be 3 hours at least. So I scheduled an appointment for the following day. Brought my car on time. An hour later their service manager came to tell me they couldn't put the car on the left because it's a wheelchair accessible minivan! Why did it take you a whole hour to figure that out? And how was other shops able to service my car but yours not?! Thanks a lot for wasting my time! Total incompetents and ignorance.

I was just getting my tires rotated and balanced. I called ahead of time they said we're not busy come in at 9- 2 hours later my car was done. So ridiculous. They also never had anyone at the desk for questions or other people while I was waiting.

Took an hour and half for 3 technician working on the truck to do an oil change. That’s not counting the person behind the counter who helped them bring the oil to them. Truck has to go back in 2-3 weeks so wasn’t going to the dealer and tried these guys for half the price however you get what you pay for. Not only new oil got inside the engine, it also got inside the cabin and on the hood. See the clear pictures.

Got a good deal on tires, was able to schedule an appointment. The people seemed very engaged and informed. I saw the technician drive the car and then check all the tires after he installed them. I thought they did a great job. Do not be late for your appointment though as you will have a long wait.

My visit was not as pleasant as I expected for it to be. My first visit was 9/5/20. I came in the Auto Care Center at this location for an under warranty battery replacement because the center in Niles, where I made my initial purchase, is closed due to Covid. I spoke with Marjin ( manager - I hope I'm not butchering his name) about my battery that is dying out. He ran a test and stated that it needed a replacement. He asked where my battery was located, as it was not visible when he performed the test under the hood. I explained that it was under the floor in the second row. He asked if I could remove it for replacement. "I said no, the center in Niles did the labor when I came in for a battery in 2017". He said okay and explained he couldn't get to it 9/5/20 and stated I would have to schedule an appointment. I asked if I could schedule an appointment for next day, 9/6/20, for replacement and he said okay. We walked inside and set up an appointment for 3 pm, 9/6/20. Appointment day, I arrived at 2:50 pm. The on-site technician, no visible name tag, took my keys upon arrival and went to perform the task. He came to me 25 mins later and asked where my battery was located. I told him the location and he responded that it was out of policy for him to perform this task due to where the batter is in my vehicle. I asked why and he said that he could not touch anything that could possibly be damaged inside my car to perform a service and he simply didn't know how. Unsure of what he meant because there was no visible wording to reflect his statement, I asked to see the policy he referenced earlier in the conversation. He mentioned that he would get a manager. I think it's important for me to note that I had to let him know that he was making me uncomfortable with his hand and body gestures as he spoke to me. I also stated that I did not want to partake in a frictional conversation. He called the manager, Sean, over to assist in more depth. Sean reiterated a policy that could not be shown to me, the customer. Ultimately, after conversing with Sean for 10 mins, he asked what could he do. I Expressed that he could give me the replacement battery and reimburse the cost of the service that I would have to pay from a shop to install my replacement battery. He agreed. Sean was there to help, which is a rarity in today's service society. This is fresh and I still feel that Walmart should make policy and exceptions visible for a customer versus causing this type of friction and confusion for their customers.

Never again will I go here! I'm pregnant and went in there with a flat tire. There was one person in front of me who was there for a tire rotation. I sat and waited 4 HOURS!!!!! it was a Saturday morning about 930. Only one guy was working and every time I looked at him he was walking around aimlessly on his phone. After about 3 hours they tell my my tire wasn't able to be fixed and I ended up having to buy a new tire. I asked to keep my old tire. Took my old tire to a little tire shop and they fixed it no problem. They are a rip off, they are unprofessional, and I will NEVER go back.
