Michael, in particular, has been fantastic—over-communicating every step of the way and making sure I fully understand the process. I’m the type of person who likes to see the issues firsthand, and they’ve always been accommodating, even taking me under the car at my request. If I’m not there, they send pictures by text to keep me in the loop, which I really appreciate.
This shop may be small, but they’re well-connected, with two other locations to handle anything they can't do in-house. They’ve even transported my car to another location for services and returned it seamlessly. On top of that, they go the extra mile by offering pickup and drop-off, working around my schedule to make everything as convenient as possible.

Amazing service, as a business owner, Real Autohaus works on my schedule. After dropping off my car, they gave me a ride to my office, then they dropped off my car in front of my office. Even though Everything was done according to schedule as planned, the service was organized and of a very high standard.

They also went out of their way to get my car finished by my time constraints. A truly great company. I wish I could give them 10 stars.
My sister had an axel give out her on the highway, we were able to have the car towed to real autohaus. Gave them a call and told me I was good to come on over. The communication was excellent, they explained things well, provided pictures and were very friendly. Price was also super reasonable for axel replacement. They wanted to throw in a cleaning to get all that grease off for a fee, we ended up declining that and then when they called to let me know the car was ready, said they did the cleaning free of charge. We thoroughly appreciated the gesture. They are about a 25 minute drive from where we live but I would say they are worth the drive! I’ll be bringing my car for any repairs here from now on and will be recommending this place to friends and family. Thanks guys!
I've been postponing vehicle maintenance on my personal and work vehicles because I couldn't find an honest and fair shop to go to. Also, someone that I was willing to trust with my classic muscle car with. My search is over. The team at Autohaus treated me, my vehicles and my wallet like family. Their diagnostic skills, up front pricing and overall performance were fantastic. I dont give reviews often, most places dont deserve it.

Nice to talk to both Mike and Mo. Both understood my situation. Great price on the oil change and after getting estimate on thermostat and window regulator I felt confident with the repairs. I made an appointment to have my engine oil changed by the Rolling Meadows team today. They were quick to the task and pleasant to deal with - only 25 minutes! At check-out, Michael explained the additional services that were recommended in a non-threatening yet informative way. Great service by a local merchant - I will return.
I came as a walk in frazzled and needing immediate attention. They were so busy and the guy took the time to walk outside, assess my situation and assure me it was fine- he would quickly get me on my way! They also charged 1/4 what the dealership would’ve if I had kept going. Great place! Highly recommend
I have a Mercedes and two BMW’s, I’m not rich I just like German cars. But because I am not rich, my German cars are a little bit older and require a bit more maintenance. These guys do a great job and their prices are as competitive as I’ve seen in the northwest suburbs. I would never go to a dealer again and in fact, as long as I own a foreign car, I will be using them for The foreseeable future.
Best experience ever. The staff here actually cares and went above and beyond to assist me, working to make sure my warrenty covered all my parts and work . Even offering me a ride back home without even asking. I will definitely go back to them
My truck ran into serious steering issues on rt 53. I was fortunate enough to make it off the expressway and into Real Autohus. From the moment I got there they assured me they would be able to fix the problem. My truck was too big to put on their lift, however my Ace mechanic was able to complete the repair as he did it on the ground of the service bay. They were able to complete the work in an impressive amount of time at a very reasonable cost. Thanks, you guys saved the day!
The car overheated on my way to work. Managed to get it to the office but no shops(3) in that area could get me in for 2 days. Real Autohouse was the only shop that could get me in that day. Managed to nurse the car back to Real Autohouse. They got me in, ordered the part and fixed it that afternoon. Was a little pricey (only reason for the 4 star rating) but the service/response overall was worth it.
This place is great. They have become the only mechanics I bring out cars to. Everyone is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They are prompt and thorough with all repairs. I highly recommend this shop for any automotive needs you have.
I’ve had many cars and many mechanics and like haircuts, finding a great mechanic is HARD. I found Real Autohaus through USAA and RepairPal. From my first interaction with Moe through to picking up the vehicle everything was high quality. They were timely, demonstrated knowledge, explained well, and did quality work. I don’t feel ripped off and my repairs were solid. You can’t ask for more. I would definitely recommend and will use them again in the future.
I had a problem with the transmission on my car and Mike at Real Haus in Rolling Meadows had his team look at the car and assess the problem. It was fixed and although it got back to them after their normal business hours, he stayed late and test drove the car to make sure it was perfect and then waited for me to come and pick it up. Talk about great service!
I had a great experience here! Tristan & Michael were both amazing! I got right in, they fixed everything with my car at an affordable price and they truly have great customer service! I recently moved to the area so I am happy I found my new auto repair shop! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
On April 7th I took my car in to have the engine oil pan gasket and crankshaft oil seal replaced; previously I had taken my car to five other auto repair facilities (including the dealership), to repair those same leaks, and all of them failed completely. I thought I was going to have to purchase a new car, since no one had the competency or training to fix this leak, but now for first time in years, my car is not leaking. It's nice to know that there is at least one auto repair shop that can actually repair a car.
I contacted Real Autohaus to set up a pre purchase inspection on a used car for me. I'm out of state, and they did a fantastic job coordinating with both me and the seller to make the whole process easy and fast. (Next day!) Once they had performed the inspection, my Service Advisor Michael Hauser spent over 1/2 hour on the phone with me, dicussing their findings in depth and talking over what options I had to address each one. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend Real Autohaus, and Michael, wholeheartedly. They will take care of you!
I took my Volvo SUV to Real Autohaus. My experience with the auto shop was a positive one. Michael, Chris and their tech were all very courteous and professional. Chris provided clear explanations to all my questions and concerns, with patience and kindness. The price for the work done was fair. The waiting area and restroom were nice and clean. Highly recommended.
Update 2 - Feb 2025, - a few months after the first post. Had a flat tire due to a screw. I took the car in without an appointment. Michael and the tech were courteous and professional. The screw was in the middle of the tire threads so it was patchable. The price for the repair was reasonable and fair. My car was ready in less than 1 hour.
Mike and his group are terrific. I took my 2003 Camry for front breaks.They did a great job communicating to me about a couple additional increases once the took the tires off. They saw that both front brakes required TLC because they needed pads and rotors.
I highly recommend Mike and his group.
