I visited this store 15 min before their closing time to purchase a new battery for my car. Not only did I get a professional and honest advice on what’s suitable for my car and fits my budget, Jay went above and beyond to help fix the battery. Great service, highly recommend this store location. I’m definitely going to come back for other auto needs.
Today Jay helped us a lot. He gave us a new car battery, picked the right one, and installed everything very quickly and professionally. He was extremely friendly and explained everything clearly — why this option works and why not the other one. Employees like him are truly valuable, and I really wanted to thank him and leave this review.
The lady there gave me a lot of trouble with returning a starter, very rude nasty lady insulting me and calling me a liar in front of customers, it was brand new in the box never used, wrong part for my model, she wanted to test it and didn't know how to test it properly on the machine and says it now smells burnt, she said I "damaged" the gear and it's broken now, not my fault she damaged it, I will never go to this AutoZone ever again with that manager lady there, the worst experience, people like that shouldn't be working there.
Currently in the store... 2 workers and 1 customer... Me. It's been like that since I walked in almost 10 minutes ago, and I still haven't been helped. Yes, one of the workers has been on the phone the entire time with a needy customer, but the other one has been just roaming around. Told him what I needed. He acted as if I was bothering him. Pointed me in the direction of the item... Which actually was NOT where the item is. It's actually an item that they have to get for you from behind the counter. After his non helpfulness, I went back up to the front and waited for the other employee to finish with the customer on the phone. Meanwhile the non helpful employee continued meandering around. Finally when the other employee got off the phone, she helped me too. She was great, but the other dude literally let a customer just stand around in the store for 10 minutes without REALLY being helped. Terrible.
It’s a Sunday morning and “we” meaning myself and others are just standing on the parking lot and the store isn’t open when it clearly states open at 08:00.
I came to Autozone with my engine light on, had the diagnostic testing done, and received some instant feedback. Before I decided to leave with my paper, I wanted to check my oil. To no surprise, I realized it was very low. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, I needed some help picking the right oil (and I hate to admit it, but also filling up my car). Jose, the store manager, stepped up and helped me with EVERYTHING! I was planning on figuring out how to do the oil myself, but when he noticed my apprehension to doing it, he jumped right in and offered to help. He was so personable and knowledgeable about what I needed help with. There was no judgement, only a respectful helping hand. I can absolutely say I feel confident in visiting this Autozone again knowing I’ll receive the help required if needed. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to pull him aside for a second! I’m sure he’d love to meet you!
I needed to change my headlights, and Antoinette was very helpful and finished everything in less than 10 minutes. It was a quick and easy trip, great service!
Today I received an amazing help by Randy. He help me and work with me in my car to resolve an small issue. Didn't make me buy anything because we used his tools to resolve the issue. I asked him what is could buy to kind of reciprocate with him in his store. He only asked to leave a review. Did not ask to say leave a good review or with any interest whatsoever. I wish I would find this great level of employees honestly kudos to him and the shop where He works. Hope he can help mano people out there.
Went in to get some windshield wipers and Antoinette was super helpful with looking up which ones were needed and showing us where they were , she even recommended getting wiper fluid as well. She went above and beyond and put the wipers on the car as well exceptional service from her . Absolute 10/10, thankyou Antoinette!!!

My windshield wipers on my KIA Soul required replacements. I stopped by the AutoZone Auto Parts store in Rolling Meadows, IL this morning. I was greeted immediately by Navar. He assisted with looking up the wiper blades for my car and also changed the wipers right on the spot for me. Great service -- Navar!!!!
Walked in today and JUAN was an absolute BLESSING! I purchased Windshield wipers and he not only placed them on for me, he patiently showed me how to install them myself! Thank you so much Juan! You are a blessing and I pray God's covering over you and yours!
Got my battery tested and then a new battery after it was found to be almost dead. Navar and Kevin were a great help and got it in my car. Overall, they were able to help and recommend other maintenance things. Would recommend this location!
My car needed new battery and decided to give Autozone a try. Hands down, one of the best experiences to date. Assistant Manager, Navar, was very attentive and knew exactly what to do with my car. He not only replaced by battery but made sure there wasn’t anything else my car needed. He was respectful of my time and got me in and out in under 30 minutes. You can tell he loves what he does and was a great communicator. I will recommend this location thanks to this gentleman’s help! You got a return customer in me. Thank you Navar!!
The manager at this location, Navar, was so helpful! He was juggling a lot of people at once, moving from one location to another, yet still managed to help me find the right battery and get my car fixed. There was allot of multitasking and I really appreciated how he handled everything.
The girl “helping” us practically threw the car scanner at us and walked away. This is the second time we tried to get a simple car scan. The first time there was one other guest and everyone was unwilling to help. This time we receive customer service like that. Some friendly advice, if you hate your job so much, work somewhere else.
I recently visited this location and was blown away by the level of customer service. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure all my needs were met!! I went in today having troubles with my cars battery and the young man, I think his name was Juan helped me!! He was very patient and got the job done so amazingly!! I will definitely be coming back!!!
Every visit that I have made to this Rolling Meadows store has been nothing but POSITIVE. It was usually a stressful situation for me but they were always able to solve my problems. They have been nothing but helpful as well as kind. They talked me through everything they were dong and the "why".. GREAT customer service. I have never felt like they were ripping me off. Antoinette is a BOSS WOMAN! Everytime I came in here, she's always busy and handling customers. She is a hard worker and cares. I was just there today at 3pm and her coworker walked out without saying a word, leaving her alone with 8 customers and pick up orders coming through still!! I don't know how management and corporate tolerates this kind of behavior. If this lazy coworker is like that today, he's more than likely like that everyday. Leaving a coworker hanging dry for hours should be unacceptable.
She was on the speaker phone with a sister store, who sent a customer to her store. She didn't have the part, and they didn't ask for a visual. She calls to ask for help and the guy on the other line was a complete jerk. She literally said "okay well I don't have the part, can you help me?" The reply was "Well what do you want me to do?" . She clearly wasn't getting any support from other stores, coworkers, and management. She went ahead and apologized to her customer and ordered the part from headquarters.
I had an excellent experience at AutoZone thanks to Navar . They were incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me find the right parts for my car. They explained everything in detail and even helped with the installation. I really appreciated their patience and professionalism. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to great customer service. My experience in the AutoZone at Rolling Meadows was really pleasant because of a worker named Dylan. He was very helpful and helped us out one hour before the store closed. He also gave us correct information on inventory that was in a different store. Very happy and we will for sure come back again. Thank you Dylan, AutoZone needs you.

We were in need of a replacement battery and a closer location did not have a cheaper one there so we went to this location. Normally we would purchase the best battery available but plan on trading the car in very soon. Antoinette ( not sure of spelling) went above and beyond to assist us in switching out our old and installing our new one. She was polite, professional and wasted no time. In this era of non existent customer service , it is nice to actually experience it again. Thank you very much Antoinette.
