I had an EXCELLENT experience with the owner of MAKE IT STRAIGHT AUTO BODY, the owner John did just THAT ????he was pleasant, He had a great sense of humor and very professional. he took the bumper off my 2023 BMW X6 and repainted it, he did a phenomenal job, looks exactly how it was when I drove it off the showroom floor last year and oh by the way he touched up other areas on my truck at no extra charge ???? he told me my truck would be ready in three days, on the third day he gave me a curiosity call early and told me it was ready for pick up as expected and anticipated. THIS is the ONE and only Autobody shop I would recommend. 5 stars is not even close enough, I AM extremely pleased ? ❤️?❤️?
What disgusting service is this? I called in order to see if he was available to do body work on multiple cars and because it wasn’t through an insurance claim where he could upcharge he told me there’s no money in that work and hung up in my face.
John did a fantastic job on my 2024 Equinox. Had a door ding. Was lower than quoted price and you can't even tell it happened. 100% would recommend these guys.

Came in for a estimate on a sonata for some damage to my passenger door. They looked around the vehicle. Asked if I was going through insurance, I replied cash. Then he referred me to another body shop. Said if I wanted it done cheap to go there. Didn't even bother to tell me a quote. Oh well. This review is based off my experience.
Make it straight was recommended to me from my boss. A few weeks ago my sons basketball hoop came crashing down on my brand new 23 Kia Sportage leaving a nasty dent and some paint damage. I’m so glad I chose this shop. Super helpful from the get go. They had my car a week while I was out of town and I picked it up today and it’s as if the accident never happened. John has a forever Customer in my husband and I! Job well done!

Had paint transfer from an incident with my mom and a pole. John did an amazing job buffing out the paint and offered me a "holiday" discount. We were so greatful. My daughter struck a deer and all of the chain-type repair facilities that the insurance company were recommending had backlogs of several weeks or were not accepting non-driveable vehicles. I did a search for someone local and the reviews are what made me pick this place. John arranged for the tow, had the vehicle picked up on Monday and the repairs completed the following Tuesday. Great workmanship and great customer service. He even called personally to follow-up and make sure we were happy with the results. I’m glad I could support a local business and will refer family and friends here in the future.
Five Star Body Shop. John is probably the most honest and best person ive ever dealt with in any automotive business. He has an excellant well known great reputation. Thats why he has ran his business successfully for decades. John is straight forward, honest, knows his stuff and doesnt rip people off like many other places do. Great guy. His crew does excellant work, and the pricing will compete with anyone. I have had them paint many of my cars in the past and have never been dissapointed. I have also with confidence sent family and friends there as well and they have all been very happy with Make it Straight.....Great place. True Pros and honest people.

I never been in an accident like the one I was in, my truck got tboned at an intersection on the side of the bed. I thought Forsure it was totaled or wouldn’t drive right again, or so I thought. Make it straight did a great job with my truck, I couldn’t even tell it was in an accident once I got it back. They also did a great job at dealing with my insurance, I hardly had to communicate with insurance at all. They truly do work promised in their name.
Great place! John was friendly and did an amazing job on my car. John was recommended from another shop that could not fix my car because of the extensive damage. I read the shop’s review and decided to use this business. Best choice ever! John worked with my insurance company making the entire process was seamless. I would highly recommend this shop for any type of body work.
Visiting this place was a dream. They finished with my car 2 days early and charged me $1,500 less dollars than what I would have paid anywhere else. Super friendly service too, would definitely come back !

We were so impressed with their work, we returned a second time when we needed work done. The owner, John, is such a nice guy and really put us at ease. He also stayed in communication with us throughout the process. Hopefully won't 'need' to return but would in a heartbeat if we needed to. Our car looks good as new!

John the owner is honest and straightforward. Recently brought in my SUV because the clear-coat was baking off and I needed to see about my options. Was worried I was going to have to repaint it for several thousand dollars. John looked at it, and rather than quoting to repaint suggested buffing and glazing the paint to see if they could restore the shine. If you know anything about polishing/buffing a paint job it is skilled meticulous work. Not only did they do a great job but by being honest he saved me thousands of dollars. I'm not sure all body shops would have been so up front. Great work, integrity and my vehicle was done in 1-day. Can't ask for much more.
Went for state emission test for license renewal sticker. Friendly, was out in less than 15 minutes. Nice to have an emission test location on the south suburbs.
I have a terrific late model Jeep GC that needed body work which was completed by another body shop. When I started to have problems, I took my Jeep to John at Make It Straight. Things were not done well by the other shop and John was honest without slamming another person's work. Yes it did take a few appointments to get it done and done right. He's very busy but does get the work done when promised and you can trust that it is done well.
Called to see if they could fix side mirrors and the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked if he had any open appointments today and he said "i do not" and hung up the phone. Do not recommend

This is an amazing auto shop! John is very professional, courteous, and patient. I got my car fixed through my insurance and he made the process as easy as possible. It didn't take too long to get my car back and he even helped me with having Hertz pick up my rental car at his shop. He made a potential frustrating experience, easy going and seamless. I will refer him to my friends and family.
