They charge so much money for things that was not even wrong with my car 🤯 trying to make me feel like I need a new car when I really needed to get better service. Glad I got a second opinion now I’m back driving 😊 no thanks to them

First time using this place for auto repairs and it was the first choice and BEST choice. I needed a full recon of work done on my Toyota rav4 and they went through everything I needed to fix asap and what could wait. I initially spoke with James on the phone, he told me I could bring my car in same morning and it will be checked thoroughly. Then I got the break down of everything with Matthew and it was a lot to cover but they offered me financing, since the maintenance was such hefty bill; which in turn allowed me to approve the work and let them get started right away. It was finished same day AND I got approved for the financing and was able to pick up the following morning. I really appreciate the kindness and consideration that was shown to me, especially around the holidays and we all need our cars. I’m so happy to be back on the road and appreciative to the team here. So lovely! And I will be referring anyone that needs car attention to this establishment!

These guys were phenomenal, did my ball joints and my rear end! Great prices on both and extremely fast and polite service. 10/10 recommend and will be coming back here for future maintenance needs! James and Matthew were wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable!

just showed up, on the recommendation of another area auto service provider, with a rattle in my exhaust. the guy at the desk was very helpful and Eric took my car in right away, no appointment, no waiting. put it up on the rack! in 10 minutes my car was ready, the rattle fixed, and at a very reasonable cost. this ain't no fancy pants car dealer service department with a coffee bar and a basket of snacks, this is an auto repair garage specializing in exhaust and brakes and they repaired my rattle in 10 minutes. exhaust problem? brake trouble? this is the spot. 5 stars ain't enough.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I had my belt break as I arrived at work, I was recommended to come here by a coworker. They had my car fixed within that afternoon and back on the road, they even looked at an issue I was having with one of my tires. Their customer service was amazing & everyone there was so friendly.

Great experience. I couldn't ask for more help. I was told that they would support any help I needed with regards to any vehicle I had or wanted to purchase.

One of the best customer service oriented businesses around, came in with a big problem today had me fixed and out the door within an hour great place!!!

I took a car from Kassem Auto in to get it checked out before buying it. Jim and his sons were absolutely amazing and kind and generous. They’re the real deal and I highly recommend giving good people like them your business!

The following review is from 3 years ago. These guys that gave me this work are gone. This review is for the original owners that I would like to find! If you have an honest mechanic you can ride a car till the wheels fall off! Been coming here for years! Honest mechanics! Kind, helpful, dream come true. I sent my friend here because i i knew her previous mechanics were lying to her. They were lying that she would not be safe unless she paid $1,900. These guys made her safe for under $499 and showed her the broken parts! She was in a bad space and needed that break so bad. We are forever in their debt!

I’ll start off my saying I would recommend t&t auto on Main Street in Matteson Illinois. Super Honest people who isn’t trying to steal your money…. Lifetime automotive had 4.3 Stars so I figured it couldn’t be that bad. Brought my Cadillac CTS in for a squeaking steering wheel when turning. These ppl took $1051 of mine and replaced some parts they “Thought could be the problem” instead of properly diagnosing it. The manager Jimmy or something like that who was at the desk high as hell(Not off weed) and couldn’t care less about the money they stole from me was very nonchalant and not accommodating at all. I was gonna leave it alone until I went to the car wash and seen the damages they caused to the paint on my vehicle. Long story short please avoid this place at all cost!! The prices are not at all cheap and is not worth drama they will cause. I have already took the L for all of you. And based off the google reviews it looks like we might have a small class action law suit on them 😅

Highly disappointed, took my car here for a flashing engine light they told me they can fix the problem that it just needs a tuneup.They also convinced me to get other things done so $2700 dollars later I’m told I need a new engine they don’t do that type of work. They knew that before they did this unnecessary work. I picked up my car the engine is still flashing after spending $2700.

Please avoid this place! I took my car in two different times for the same issue. To try and make a long story short. First time I took it in, they said it was a problem with the throttle. I agreed for them to fix it and left the car there. They called later said it was fixed. I picked it up the next day, drove it out of the parking lot...same issue. Took the car back the next day, I told them I was having the same issue with my car and could they take a look at my car again. They asked if I would wait or leave the car. I told them this time I would wait. A couple of hours later, they said it was a problem with the fuse box and some other issues, and they would have to order the parts and it would take a few days for the parts to come in. I again agreed to have them fix the car thinking that would solve the problem. A few days later, they called, and left a message on my phone asking me to call back. When I called back, they said the car was ready, BUT they can tell there is a problem with my transmission.. after they took my car for a "test drive". When I arrived and paid for "supposedly" rendered services done to my car, the minute I drove it out of the parking lot, I was STILL having the same issue with my car and it was probably the transmission this whole time. This shop con me out of over $1000 dollars of unnecessary work done to my car that I could have waited to have done some other time. Eventually, I did get my car fixed someplace else and it WAS the transmission but the money they charged me for unnecessary work could have gone towards the transmission. If you need repairs done to your vehicle, drive by this place, don't take it here.

Amazing customer service, I came in for my wife car tire that we thought was broken and Matthew literally gave us the best services and got us back out in less than 30 mins. Highly recommend!!!!!! Totally affordable.

I couldn't recommend better service. I Dropped my car of around 9A.M. and had it back before close, the same day. All if my concerns were addressed along with financing options available. Shout out to the guys at Lifetime Muffler & Brake, keep up the exceptional work!!!

2018 It's hard to find an auto repair shop that can be trusted. I fully understand that they must make their nut, but some try to take customers for a ride. I know I don't trust Firestone. These gentlemen at Lifetime have given me a reason to hope. The advice they offered on my daughter's vehicle was practical and saved me a few bucks and got The job done. The second vehicle needed brake work, but I was hoping for just needing pads and the rotors turned. Turns out they stated I needed new rear pads, rotors and bearings repacked left rear. $600 is that average, high or low? Only time will tell if I can trust this shop, but so far so good. Once again, It's hard to find mechanics that can be trusted, but once you do it's a WIN WIN.

I will gladly recommend Lifetime Automotive for you vehicle’s needs. I have been frequenting their business for nearly 10 years. They always do a great job, have a fair price, and the guys are very open and helpful. Just today I was dealing with my engine overheating, and their crew started troubleshooting for multiple solutions. They finally agreed on an issue and were able to fix it in a timely manner. Even more so, I have been going through the ringer lately. They all offered me support, shared their personal stories, and helped uplift my spirit. This was more than a service transaction. Today was reassurance that no matter what we are facing, there are those who will stand in the gap with you to help build you up. Thank you Lifetime Automotive. My experience here has been horrible. The two managers ones name is Jim did not know how to provide customer service. First of all, Jim was talking over me anytime I try to explain to him the problem with my vehicle I came into the shop needing new ball, joint wheel bearing and axle replaced. I left the shop with ABS lights on steering wheel assistant light on traction control, light on Just to name a few. They knew this before they gave me the car and didn’t say anything until I mentioned it. Also, they tried to charge me extra labor for something that they were already going to do and was included already. I would not recommend taking your car to them unless you have an old vehicle. If you have a newer vehicle, these guys will mess your car up , they assured me that the ABS light would not come on as long as I purchase a sensor I purchased a sensor and the ABS light is still on and they had a nerve to tell me that it was my problem that they couldn’t get the sensor off and I should pay extra for them to get it off I tried going up there again to reason with them and again Jim told me he did not have time to call me back that I would just have to keep calling until they had time to look at my car again again I wouldn’t recommend anybody go here. Don’t waste your money

Everytime I've ever gone to this shop they've lied about what's wrong with my car. Don't waste your time. First time I've gone years ago they tried to sell be a master cylinder when all I needed was my brakes bled after a brake job. Tried to give them another chance told me a bunch of stuff was wrong with my car and they couldn't do the simple job I needed until I got the major work done. Lies. Took it right down the street car fixed and everything is fine. Absolutely horrible place of business.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and the service is absolutely stellar! I take both my vehicles here regularly. One time they fixed the OBD port on my car and then took the car to get the emissions test passed for me. They always go above and beyond!

We have used this business for years! Absolutely the best location to get your car fixed, especially for someone like me where I know very little about the mechanics of my car. Batteries, heat shields, mufflers, brakes... trustworthy, easy on the wallet, simple to get to, and friendly. Recommended many others to them, and they have had similar experiences. They have always been very professional even when I have just stopped by with a noise, or a dashboard light on. Never have tried to over sell something I didn't need. Thanks guys!! Update:2021.. had to return to have some service, and yet again, did not disappoint. Thanks guys!!!

Had breaks down by them in past years and everything was ok. This year I have a new car and my car is about 2 years old. So my breaks needed service and I take it to them. I pick up my car and They still felt like they did once i dropped them off, but this time every time I stop you can hear a bad loud noise. It did that every time I went to apply the break. So I took it back and some young guy takes it in and later that day they say they didn’t fine anything wrong and that they put on the new breaks and pad and just let the break settle.... ok so I take it home and park my car right down the street. Next day I’m driving and again it does the same thing and I’m applying my break and it’s louder this time and when I’m coming to the stop i smell burning metal. So as soon as I got off I took it back up there and told them I will be back up there each and every time for them to fix my breaks because I know something wasn’t done right the first time I came in 2 weeks ago and paid 600 dollars. So this time i drop it off and they call me saying the same thing.... nothings wrong the parts are all new. Ok I get there and tell them again if I hear it I’ll be back....well now the manager is there and he said to me oh yeah I had my guy take off the breaks and redo them and tighten them up😳😳... ummm that’s what the guy was suppose to do in the first place...they let me pick up my car the first time with new break but they wasn’t properly put on nor tighten....I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THEM AND NOW MY FAMILY WILL TAKE OUR SERVICES TO STACY IN PARK FOREST OR BETTER THAT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP!!! I don’t care if it cost a little more...I love my car and my life!

Lifetime Auto is a family-owned business where each employee treats your car as if it's their own! We have been going there for at least 20 years; we have always been treated fairly and courteously. They go above and beyond to make sure your vehicle has the best service at the best price. They call around to suppliers if they don't have the part you need in stock and they'll check several places to make sure you get the lowest price. If they find worn or broken pieces they couldn't see until they had other parts taken off, they'll call and give you the safest options between a rebuilt part or several different levels of manufacturers so you can make a wise choice, balancing budget and quality parts. I appreciate their honesty and their terrific service. I trust their professional opinions and advice. I'll never take my vehicles any place else. Never have; never will!

These guys are so nice and friendly. They do a great job on your, you will never have to go back for the same problem. As far as money, yes on somethings they can be expensive, i think they still offer the senior discount. But i love them they have been my mechanics for maybe 6 years.

I went in to have a driveshaft repaired which was about $400.00, that is what I heard and wanted them to repair...I give them my warranty info. and the warranty co. said they would not cover it because it rusted though...after talking to the warranty co. they also informed me that the mechanic also said my engine mounts were bad and they had to be replaced and also my my front right and left ball joints had to be replaced...Then they called me and said their was oil leakage into my spark plugs and it will start to misfire eventually and was also told that I needed new oil gaskets...The warranty co. said they would send a claims adjuster out because they called the warranty company back and said I need new coil springs...That raised a red flag to the warranty co. and they did send a adjuster out...The next day I went in to ask them if they got in touch with the claims people and he pulls out a yellow piece of paper and start naming things off that needed to be repaired...Which came out to be $2,655.49 Then I ask if they took American Express and he says no. I ask for my keys and left...Took the car to another mechanic and I told brought him the piece of paper that he scribbled his tally on and ask the new mechanic to take a look at the list of problems and he did and called me a few hours later and said he did not see the same thing wrong and quoted me a price of $800.00 for total repairs that he found...So in my opinion since one of the guys by the name of Gary, quit they started trying to rob people and make up stuff to get more money out of you...This is my personal experience...

Best place ever. Gary is great, doesn't rip you off. They go the extra mile to please the customer. Sometimes the wait is longer but at least I know it's being done right. Every where else they stick it to you. Especially if you're a girl. Seen it many times. The mechanics in back .. another huge asset to the business, they do it right the first time. 10 stars would be my rating if I could. And Ricky your car had to have had huge problems. They would have never of screwed you like that. NEVER! !!

I have always had good service here. Being a single female, they have always been respectful, patient, and have had no problems explaining things to me. I know some things about cars but I'm no mechanic, so with them explaining things to me, it helps me learn more about cars than what I already know. Other mechanics come off like women are stupid when it comes to cars, but they don't do that here. Thank you for being the great people that you are!!

They used to be reasonable with the work and prices. I went for a small fix and was charged three times what it was worth. Spoke to others who have went and same thing. My friends truck was worked on three times already by Lifetime and runs worse than before. He does not honor the work and just charges more. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
