Came here to get my car fixed and spend over 1,100 dollars for it to be back in the shop not even a month later they play around with prices so be very careful and act like they are doing you a favor. Prices are crazy as well
This is a great place for your bi-annual emissions test. Kennedy Auto Repair is super fast, and their people are very customer oriented. I Highly recommend Kennedy Auto for your emissions test, if you're in the far South Suburbs.

I used this company for emissions and other services over the years with professionalism and a speedy return to my vehicles. Unfortunately as of late, something has changed my car has been waiting just to be looked at for services for 2 weeks, everytime I call someone says they'll call back in "30 minutes with more information" and never does and days will just go by. It had been 13 days there Monday when I called them and they gave me a service quote. I was told that it would be cheaper if I allowed them to use some used parts, I said that would be ok but please start the work now its been there too long, he said ok and he'd call me back, he never does. I call them Wednesday morning (my car has now been there 2 weeks) and when I asked about my vehicle they said they hadn't started work because they were waiting for parts. I said how long will the wait be and the answer was we don't know. I said it's been 2 weeks I need a date and he said "you can come and get your car Baby, we doing you a favor." Sadly I will no longer be taking mine or my family's car there, and would not recommend them to anyone.
Fantastic service and super friendly staff, they replaced all the rusted brake and fuel lines on my 02 Camaro and the job was done nicely and very fair on the pricing IMO . Highly recommend
Kennedy Auto Repair II Inc. was wonderful! Ron scheduled me for 2 days after my request and said to get there between 8:00-8:30. Everything was taken care of, including an unexpectedly clean car interior. My ride was ready for me by midafternoon. It’s 7 years old and runs like a top! Don’t pay the luxury dealerships those ridiculous prices for maintenance. Visit Kennedy Auto Repair II the next time you need service. You won’t be sorry.
I was so happy to find they did emissions testing! Arrived at 8am,was done at 8:10. Very clean,super pleasant crew. My warranty is expired and this will be a business I'll go to. Good find! Sent my daughter and her experience was great too! Well done guys!
Went here for my emissions test. This place had the friendliest staff ever and fastest too! Total time to get my emissions test was under 5 minutes start to finish! Super friendly and professional people here. I highly recommend!
Many times here started with simple emission testing. Great service so returned with small problems twice was taken care of right away and will never take my family of 4 cars anywhere else they truly are honest and soo reasonable ????
I came to this location for the first time after my mom recommended it, she’s had great experiences here in the past decade for emissions. I usually go to the Markham emissions testing site, this was my first time here.
When we pulled into the parking lot the left entrance looked like a mechanic shop with cars being serviced and the right entrance had a sign saying, “Vehicle Emissions Testing.” So, logically, we pulled into that entrance as we would at any other emissions site. There was no sign stating “do not pull in” or “stop here at this line” or “go park and come to the office.”
Two men saw us pull in but didn’t say a word to us, instead, they told a woman inside that we had pulled in. She came out and immediately confronted us with a very rude disrespectful and condescending tone. She never greeted us, just started chewing me out like I had done something outrageous. Stating “for future reference don’t ever pull in here this isn’t how we do things you park and then you come talk to us, get in your car.” I calmly mentioned they should have clear signage, and she snapped back, “We have signs.” For the record, there were no clear signs in the lot indicating what customers are supposed to do. There is a large sign on the street to pull in for emissions.
I understand safety procedures, but there’s a professional and respectful way to communicate with people, especially for anyone there for the first time. this lady was so damn rude. A simple greeting and kind explanation would have gone a long way. Or the men could’ve been like hey you can’t pull in here please go park, we have an office you come into after you park. Based on this experience alone, I won’t be returning to this location. Markham all the way. The other reviews about this woman are spot on unfortunately. She needs deliverance from whatever has her so aggressive and unnecessarily mean.
On May 16, 2025 approximately 9:15 am I arrived at Kennedy for an emissions test. I sat at the stop sign for a moment but the sun was in my eyes and I couldn't see anybody in the shop or not so I angled my car toward the shade so I could see and pulled in.. After doing this a male employee started admonishing me for pulling in without being cued and he made about how the sign needed to be better so "people" could read it. I asked him would it be better if I just left and responded by saying yes. I got in the car and pulled around to the stop sign and called the testing center in which a woman answered. I asked her if I could receive an emissions test. She said yes. I asked her would I be treated with respect in which she asked if I was calling from the stop sign and I replied yes and she waived me thru and she completed my test. She explained the danger of pulling in, which is understandable and although she completed her job and I passed the test she also acted and spoke like their was a chip on her shoulder. She said it's better to walk up than to drive in but she was still supporting the treatment I'd receive by not apologizing for itI watch the next person pull up. She sat at the stop sign confused, looked left and right and appeared to speak with the passenger in her car as they decided what to do they were waived inside. Emissions testing is quick and shouldn't be stressful, especially when passing but I cried as I pulled off because the way the male spoke was disrespectful and condescending with racial undertones that I won't ignore. I hope others also write reviews about Kennedy as well because if I missed the sign or misread the sign or even ignored the sign I didn't deserve to be spoken to like that. Don't treat people like that because not only can I read, I can write and speak and I will continue to communicate about the treatment I received today on different platforms.

Great customer service! I have gone here a few times for my emissions test. They get you in and out in just a few mins. Love having the option to get the car tested closer to home.
Got emission test when left there my car had a humming noise in steering wheel. So went back they see lady In office I told her the problem she had the nastiest attitude. And told me it was my car and told me I could make an appointment and pay 150$ for a diagnosis. Grumpy lady. Never again.i would never go there again
I wouldn't recommend this place, took my Suv in because I had an oil leak. Was told it would take 1-2 days. It took about a week, which I dealt with. But I noticed about a week or so later I had the same problem. Paid over $1500 for the repairs and still had the same issue. In addition to that I had to rent a car for a week. I misplaced my receipt so I didn't bother going back. I leave out too early for to talk to someone and they close before I get home.
