Followed John from his old place here and they do a great job. Great communication, no attempts to upsell like a lot of the big-corporate places out there, honest pricing.

I had a coolant leak that was driving me crazy, I couldn't quite figure out where it was or what needed to be done to fix it. I brought it here and I am so glad I did. Instead of taking advantage of my inexperience with this manner of problem, John talked me through the possibilities. Ultimately, the problem wasn't as bad as I had originally thought. Much gratitude to John and Scotty for fixing my baby.

This was my first experience with Morton Grove Auto & Truck Service. And it was a good one! The auto shop I had gone to for years had been sold and no one seemed to know (or wanted to say) where anyone went. For me, that was a red flag. If it were just a question of transitioning into the new place, it would have been easy. But when you have been going to the same guy for over 35 years, that’s another story. John Lopiccolo and his team at WilRidge were straight forward, honest, ethical and priced within reason. It’s hard to put into words, but John took a genuine interest in what he was doing. He made suggestions; not a one size fits all. So I was bound and determined to find where John went, but thankfully he contacted me. My first experience with MG Auto was smooth and painless: in at 8:00 a.m. for an oil change and check over while I waited in the seating area. Perfect! Great customer service and quality work!! I always used to worry with the thought of getting my car serviced because of the fear of getting over charged by the dealer and not knowing who to trust. Even though I still worry about what future repairs my older cars will bring- Bill and his team changed that for me. Even with expensive repairs needed, Bill ensures a plan in place to fix what is trully needed versus everything at once. Labor costs are reasonable and still more affordable then taking the car to the dealer. Bill kindly offers a car rental at no extra cost which eases my anxiety of needing to make transportation arrangements so that I can still get to work and get my kids situated. Bill is very thorough, honest and truly takes his time to ensure your vehicle is working at its optimal level. A Local Treasure! I recently returned to the area after living away for a couple of years. One of the best things was again being proximate to Morton Grove Auto and Truck. Now that my car is over 100,000 miles, it definitely needed the skilled ministrations of Bill and his team. After a "Honda Spa Day" with them, my car and all its systems are again functioning as though it just rolled off the assembly line. I hasten to add that only what was needed was done - no bill-padding here, and Bill will always work to obtain parts and the like at the best price, and pass that savings right on to you. Quality Service Our long time mechanic retired and closed his shop so we needed to find a new repair shop. We struck gold! Bill at MG Auto & Truck Service is a true professional - explaining what the problem was, the required repair and an accurate cost estimate. He kept us informed of the delivery timeframe for the part and the car was ready when promised. He's requested the car back in about 100 miles just to make sure everything is A-OK. The car runs great, talk about quality service! They've made a new long term customer.

Happy to have discovered this shop. Bill and the team were fantastic to work with. I brought in my Firebird without really knowing all that was wrong with it. The team did a great job troubleshooting all of the issues and keeping me apprised of the costs and progress. While. I appreciate the quality of the work performed by Morton Grove Auto, it's really the trust that the service I receive is the service I need. Most of us know so little about cars that we need to trust our auto mechanic. I trust Bill, Sean and John implicitly. Over the years, Morton Grove Auto has serviced all four of the cars that that we have owned at the same time. One example of the trust is simply being told that it was time to get rid of one of our cars. Instead, they could have looked at it as sort of an annuity. They didn't, however.

Bill is the best. He is very honest and a no pressure kind of guy. He is down to earth and thorough. But that is not the best part of my experience. The service done on my vehicle is complete and done right. The price is reasonable and there are no regrets. If you want your car repaired or just regular maintenance, Morton Grove auto and truck is the place to get it done. I'm lucky to have found them.

Bill and his staff is wonderful. I always know when I bring my car to them I will get the best service. I'm not worried that they may rip me off like other mechanics that I've been to. If they don't have a loaner available for me, I get a ride home and pick me up when done. I totally would recommend Morton Grove auto and truck service to everyone.

I have been getting my car serviced at Morton Grove Auto since I started to drive and had my first car so for about 20 years. My parents started to go when Bill was working out of a Shell gas station so my family has been customers for many many years. I have since moved out of the area but I still make the drive a few times each year for service. Every time I go Bill makes the effort to ask about me. He always seem interested in my job or what I have been up to. Although my parents have stopped going to him he always ask how they are doing. He gets to know his customers. I’m not just another face that goes to his shop. Most of all he knows my car. He and his staff are honest and hard workers. I always know that my car is in the best of hands. If I have questions or concerns about my car he takes the time to address them and he only does the work that is necessary. I know every time I go in I get high quality service. For that reason I won’t take my car to any other place.

I have been coming here since I bought my car in 2008 and I will not take my car anywhere else to be serviced. Bill and his staff are honest, professional, and they genuinely care about what's best for you and your car. Bill saved me thousands of dollars by discovering my car has an extended warranty on the engine block, which means it will be replaced by the car manufacturer for free. Bill could have replaced my cracked engine block himself, charged me for it, and I would have never known about the extended warranty. Bill and his staff exemplify what customer service should be!
