Updating to respond to the comment. It was a LKQ driver delivering to Gerber. It was your driver and I called your management team. I was basically laughed at and told they would talk to the driver as they know who it was. Have not received a callback since they said they would call. The company name was clear as day on the truck and confirmed by someone on your team that they identified the driver. Still no accountability.
A parts delivery man was delivering items while I was in the lot of Gerber Collision in Munster. The truck driver honked so I started to reverse a bit to turn around and get out of his way. While I was reversing the truck driver honked at me constantly because he thought I was backing into him. I flicked him off as he was still on the horn as I’m actively moving out of his way. I went to the back lot and turned around to leave and the truck driver had parked his vehicle fully sideways blocking the only exit of the parking lot. This driver illegally detained me in the lot and management did nothing. The driver began to yell at a gerber worker and the driver locked the building door even though he is not a worker there. The truck driver told me that now I’ll be waiting on him. Management chose to have a conversation with the driver. Very disgusting behavior for a driver and is crazy they will let him to continue to operate their trucks after this behavior.
Disappointing their only action is to talk to a driver who was verbally abusive and physically blocked me in somewhere with his vehicle. Should be immediate termination. Will be making a report with the business for further action.
Made a delivery tap LKQ this morning.
Got me a dock door unloaded me. Took about 20 minutes Norman,the fork truck operator my unloader, unloaded me swept out my trailer, cleaned everything up and brought out my paperwork to me, outstanding place. Great customer service could not be any more happier
Bought Used Cummins ISX cm 2250 in October 2018. Engine had around 260k. Takeout. Was sold with one 1 month warranty or something like that. 2+ years on (Knock on wood), almost 500k no problems. Today got my recent oil analysis from Blackstone. All good. Nicely done. Thank You.
Order a used part from their Stockton facility. Waited a week. Called them back and was told that the person who talk to me will call me back in 1 business day about it. Waited and nada. Called again and was told they was trying to find it. Around this time, it was about 2 weeks now. Called again to cancel transactions. Then they told me they couldn't find it. Should of called and told me so I can look elsewhere. Wasted over 2 weeks of my time waiting for a part that was never coming in. Bad service on their part for lack of communication.
Carriers and owner operators be aware!!! I delivered used engines for them, which spilled oil all over the floor in my trailer, after delivery i had to spend all day for washing and drying trailer and THEY DID NOT PAY FOR IT!!!
Absolutelly great service. I had to change my air compressor, and the sales guy Tony Pasharikoff was there to help me when I called. First of all I wish underline his knowledge in mechanics, and also he was very friendly and collaborative. Buy the way the prices will surprise you in a good way, especially if you are an usual dealer (stealer) customer
Great service and the turbo I purchased worked. Tony was my sales guy and he gave me exactly what he said I was going to get. He even went over it with me when I got to their warehouse. Looked like they had thousand of engines but I did not see much in truck body parts. I think this location specializes in engines and transmissions.3 simple reasons I would go back, 1 Tony was the only person to actually follow up and find the turbo I needed, 2 the turbo worked perfectly, 3 the price was very fair.
I am from New York and happened to stop in while on the road to see if I can get a Crank for my 6 wheeler. Very easy to deal with and I will continue to work with them on all my parts. My salesman was Tony Pasharikoff and it was a pleasure to work with him. He gave me a fair price and was very friendly. He helped my cousin and I get back on the road. I believe I went to the location in Chicago Heights but it may have been this one.
