The team at Hazel Crest AutoZone is fantastic! I work next door and walked over after my car battery died for a second time in one day because of the cold. The manager Luna went out of her way to help me out on her lunch break. Her and another gentleman spent 30 minutes in the cold retightening the connections to my battery and jumping it. We finally got it started so I could drive it over for a charge. I ended up deciding to replace the battery and they gave me a discount. Lekeif helped me replace the battery. Everyone went above and beyond.
Bought a spark plugs set there 3 months ago, and One spark plug failed. Clueless female employee stated that "they can not replace/exchange the failed spark plug because the purchase was long time ago", and stated that they can do that only for comercial accounts. This is is only car parts store in the worrld that won't replace the part that is still Under manufacturer's warranty. Technically, they can sell you bad parts.
Came here today around 1pm to get a free diagnostic reading because my check engine light was on. The employees were great. Lester helped me and was so professional and explained to me why my light was on. The girl working didn’t help me so I don’t know her name but she was really helpful with the other customers while I was there. I will be back!
I had a great experience at this AutoZone! The staff was very nice and helpful from the moment I walked in. Robert especially went above and beyond to help me out he was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure I had everything I needed. Excellent customer service! I can't say enough good things about Rob at AutoZone in Hazel crest! He was excellent and so with the other staff members at the store. Not only did he help me install my new headlight in my car but the next day when my daughters went out too he gave her the same excellent customer service!
The Customer Service Is Horrible Especially Coming From The Lady Manager( I Am Assuming) I Have Been Here A Few Times And I Can't Say The Experiences With Her Are Pleasant On Any Occasion Where She Has Been Present. I Was There To Purchase A Windshield Wiper And The Young Hispanic Guy Tells Me Where They Are Pointing Not Offering To Assist Me At All I Had To Ask Him To Come From Behind The Counter To Help Me. There Was Another Gentleman Waiting On A Customer (I Think He Was Also A Manager) I Asked Him When He Was Done With His Customer If He Could Put My Newly Purchased Windshield Wiper On For Me And He Said Yes...I Told Him Thank You And Waited Patiently Until He Was Finished. The Hispanic Who Originally Started Waiting On Me Told Me He Wouldn't Put The Wiper On That I Had Purchased And Immediately Turned To Assist Someone Else...He Was Completely USELESS!! The Lady Manager Appeared Asking How She Could Help Me Not Knowing The Other Gentleman (Manager) Was Already Willing To Assist With A Smile ?
She Tells Me The Only Way They Can Put My Wiper On For Me Is If I Purchase Some Windshield Washer Fluid. First I Didn't Need Any And I Have Never Heard Of Anything This Insane To Begin With. I Asked Her If That Was The Hazel Crest Location Only Because I Had Purchased Wipers For My Husband's Truck A Month Ago In Markham And They Never Mentioned This!
Everyone Shouldn't Be Put In Management Positions Especially If They're Only Concerned With Carrying A Title And Not The Work For The Position.
That Lazy Hispanic Guy Should Find A New Job Also This Doesn't Seem To Be A Good Fit For Him.

Apparently commercial clients can't purchase any parts at 4:50p at this location? ? At least that's what some taller black woman said. Didn't get her name though I should've but I had a customer waiting so I was rushing. She seemed very lazy though. She could've rang me up but just didn't want to as it was time for her to clock out soon. Never had any issues doing that at any other AutoZone except this one. My shop closes at 9p. Please fire and rehire capable employees that want to work
I was have car start up problems, due to engine lights being left to 2 day. I came to Autozone and Robert G. , the retail store pro, tested the battery and accurately recommended a new "Duralast Gold Battery 800cc". The Autozone in Hazel Crest, on Kedzie Ave. is my no. 1 go to store inoder to
solve all my motor vehicle problems. Robert G. was courteous, knowledgable and went above and beyond my expectations in less than 15 minutes. Thank you Robert. We need more proffesional salesmen like you!
The Autozone in Hazel Crest is the Best! Robert & Keif were super helpful and friendly. I purchased a 2pk of turn signal bulbs a long time ago. When the first bulb that I had replaced went out again I returned to Autozone in Hazel Crest and Keif took care of my car. They didn’t have to assist me considering my purchase was in 2023 but they did with no problem. Keif went over and beyond the “normal” customer service that I’m use to. He took the time to show me other items that I was interested in. All of my future automotive projects will start at Autozone in Hazel Crest. Thanks again, Robert & Keif
This is my second time coming to this Autozone. Consistently their staff exemplifies what customer service is all about. Arrived at this Auto Zone to pick up a quart of oil at 8:52pm. They had the doors locked . I spoke to the employee from outside and said the store has posted hours of 9pm and I just rushed over here to get a quart of oil. He then speaks to some woman and then says sorry we closed early and then walks off. I wouldn’t recommend this Auto Zone to anyone they only care about closing early and not taking care of their customers! Luckily O’Reilly is Nextdoor and gladly took me in at 8:57 to get the oil I needed. Their posted hours say they close at 9pm as well but they actually follow their policy. If you are in need of auto supplies go Nextdoor to a company that actually cares about their customers!!
I came to Auto Zone Hazel Crest and the customer service was excellent. I came to change out my battery and I was struggling. The ladies of Auto Zone saved the day! Not only did they change it out in a jiff I left with a smile. Best one I've been to.

Luna and LaKeith were absolutely the best. I came in with a very complicated problem and Luna was very patient with me. She took the time to understand the problem and spent time searching for a solution. There was a third young lady there that also took time to try and fix my battery issue. Unfortunately, her name escapes me but as soon as I remember I will give another review. Those three individuals kept my spirit up and provided excellent service with a smile. I had a headlight out and as result needed to get it fixed ASAP, called the store and asked if I bought it there would they be able to install it because I needed it right away and I was told if they could access it they could do that. I went there and they did just that. The store manager Luna looked at it and said she could do it and did it right away!!! The lack of that second headlight was totally blocking my ability to work and therefore my income so this “small little bulb” was a Major thing in my life that day. Kudos to good businesses and employees that care and are professionals. It makes a difference.
There is a very rude, very unattractive young lady who works in here. Two customers I saw there were in another auto parts store when I got there because we all left. Not only was she rude, she was useless. I asked her to test my battery she couldn't do it. Later, I called to get the district manager number, she asked why, I said to report you, she hung up on me. I got the district manager info from another location, left a detailed message didn't receive a response. Even though this location is less than a mile from my home I'm ok with traveling farther to a competitor.
Luna was amazing. Luna asked me did I have someone to install my battery told her I was going to do it myself. Luna said no no I will do it for you. Luna was very friendly and amazing. We had a nice conversation while she was installing my battery. I will go back, I recommend auto zone in hazel crest and to see Luna when you go there.
Luna was absolutely amazing. I went in the store with a concern about my car passing the emissions test. And I had so many questions. Luna came outside with me and looked in the car, she helped me with all my unanswered questions, which ease my mind. Next, I went to get the emissions test on my car and passed. Today I had an issue with my break light. I was happy I stopped in at AutoZone on 75th and Kedzie. Soon after I walked in the door Mr. LeKief asked to assist me. He was so helpful and very professional. Not only did he install my break light for me, but he went over and beyond to make sure I didn’t have anymore problems. I appreciate service like this. AutoZone should be very glad to have him as an employee. Additionally the store was so clean and very presentable. This particular AutoZone is my go to auto store for sure.
The associate was pleasant and informative. I was in need of a brake light bulb. There were two options. The standard bulb and the long life bulb. Their was a three dollar difference in price. The only one they had in stock was the long life. My salesperson was willing to check to see if a close by store had the standard bulb. I decided to take the long life because I was there and didn't want to travel. One thing I will say, as I went on with my day. I stopped in Meyers. And for the hack of it, I checked to see if they had the bulb. They did had the standard bulb and it was two dollars less.
I was so impressed with the awesome service I received by Mgr. Luna R. and her assistant Dorena. They both exhibited professionalism, kindness, and concern to the nth degree. Luna's perseverance, knowledge and persistance to complete the job to an excellent conclusion was commendable. She answered all my questions and informed me of each step. As a customer, you won't be disappointed.
I was a basic garage mechanic that never did more than my own oil changes but I Needed calipers, control arms and a ball joint for my 2010 VW and didn’t want to shell out $1500 bucks to the local garage. I went to autozone to get some advice and thoughts. Most of the people that man the counters are real mechanics and very knowledgeable. They help guide me through the process and also showed me proper techniques on how to use tools I borrowed. The job took me the whole weekend, probably 12 hours and some skin but everything is working and running properly. Thank you autozone!! Ready to tackle the strut assembly next.
