I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Broadway Auto Wreckers Ltd. Here are the key issues I encountered:
Faulty product:** I purchased an engine and transmission and battery that turned out to be defective.
Unreasonable fees:** The shop charged an additional $300 restocking fee that I found to be inappropriate and not clearly justified.
Poor communication and unsafe practices:** Repeated attempts to contact Khalid were unsuccessful; he blocked my phone numbers, making it extremely difficult to resolve the situation.
Refund and service recovery problems:** I spent a considerable amount of time trying to recover my funds, with little to no satisfactory assistance from the seller.

Im a autobody tech. They overcharged for completely damaged parts. They'll lie and tell you what you're looking for is in great condition. If you recieve photos theyll hide the damages. You get there its like the car they pulled the parts off of drove off a cliff. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place and shop somewhere else. Drove an hour here just to end up having to repair what I got from there just to be on schedule.
This place is operating a scam. They claim to provide a 90 day warranty on engines but when they provide an engine that was left sitting out in the elements with rusted over pistons, they refuse to honor their warranty.
I bought my engine from this place two months ago. It runs great, and they gave me a three-month warranty. I recommend this place if you are looking to buy used parts.
Was quoted one price drove down guy looked at my hat decided to charge me more. Afghan war vet hat. Showed the text chain at agreed price didn’t seem to care. It was a 3 hour one way drive I could order parts at the price they upped it to new shipped to my house.
So instead of getting mad I said sure to the higher price. They took the parts off the car brought them out I then looked at them said I changed my mind. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
So it’s a one star but sometimes just act come and give them a lesson on diversity equity and inclusion.

I just called and ordered an engine for a Mercedes. They were very accomodating and friendly. I will definitely purchase more parts from them in the future, I appreciate the upbeat attitude and customer service.
This company is completely unprofessional. The engines that they sell is either knocked or broken. They sell without checking. Armando salesman is so rude and does not respond to calls. I felt so bad working with this company.
Armando put a transmission in my 04 caravan . It was not working properly so he put in another one . one was not working . I took it to Aamco on Halsted . They diagnosed my vehicle and it was not the transmission! It was the catalytic converter. He cost me $2000 and said it was my fault., He also would not give me back my core . Armando is a thief and a liar ., Go to aamco on 127th and halsted
They change their price without informing the buyer ahead of time. When asking for tracking details they will tell that the price changed. Bad experience

Got and oil change and the person lost my oil cap. I stoped by Broadway auto wreckers to pay for one and they gave it to me free just because i previously did business with them. Great service, great prices,all make and models auto parts available!!!!!!
It's okay. It's pricey. Depending on what you need. Sometimes they don't have it on hand so you need to order the item with time. Can get you car fix there too. The road to the entrance is a little hard to get there, cause there are many holes. So I recommend you to go slow or have good tires on.
My transmission was going out; so, I called around and found one at Broadway Auto Parts for a fair price. They had it delivered to a shop where it was installed. After the installation was finished it became apparent that the transmission had been damaged either before or during the installation. The owner of the shop claimed no responsibility; so, I thought I had wasted the money on the repair work. I took the car back to Broadway Auto Parts and spoke with Armando about it. He wasn't sure whether the part was damaged by his guys or by the shop that installed it; so, he agreed to have another one installed free of charge. I know that a lot of people in the car repair industry are dishonest, but Armando is a man of his word, and Broadway Auto Parts is a great company to do business with.
Awesome Experience....Not to get to detailed but I purchased a very reasonably priced used engine for my 2007 Jeep Cherokee 5:7...and I had some difficulties with the original person responsible for putting the engine in my car..after that experience i called Broadway for Help and spoke with Armando who corrected my issues and he has been nothing but excellent with not only getting my purchased engine up and running in my truck but also with the After experience in making sure that if i have any ? or concerns to please contact him and he will help me with my ordeal every step of the way...Not the mention I needed a new Water Pump and he assisted me with that to ensure my new used engine and total car needs were taken care of...Kudos to Armando and Broadway Auto Parts and Glass in Blue Island for there excellent service and auto parts with my 2007 Jeep Cherokee 5:7
