This review is for the personnel at this location rather than Harbor Freight in general. Although, I will say that this years Black Friday deals were a joke.
I went in on Black Friday and the item i wanted was out of stock, No suprise. People bulk buy all the time and ruin it for the rest of us. The woman who originally helped me check out was very helpful and kind. She grabbed another guy who looked up my item and advised that they did have a bunch of what i was looking for but they were being unloaded off of the truck and would be stocked for morning opening.
I showed up this morning, Late for work so i could get what i was looking for. Walk in and the item i wanted was still empty. I asked the person who opened the door and happened to be the only person up front i did not catch his name and he basically said there was no way that's what i was told and that MAYBE they'd have some in the afternoon. I explained that i took time from work to stop in and he basically told me that was not his problem and pretty much told me to go pound sand.
I don't know that this location will see another dime of my business. I'm sure they don't care. I would rather travel the extra 30 minutes to another location.
Went in here on a mission to find a 1/2inch adapter and javon found it for me and showed me how to use it with other adapters. Thank you for being friendly and kind to a diy jack of some trades guy
I went to harbor freight the other day looking for a barrel wrench. The store manager Jon was in the aisle next to me. I called for assistance multiple times and he acknowledged my presence and proceeded to walk away. For being a store manager he doesn’t seem like he wants to be there. Won’t be returning anytime soon.
Brandy Nemecek was the worst sales manager at this store. He kept denying to own his mistake to not informed me about restock fees before I purchased poorly quality water pressure 1700. He sold me used and damaged box to me even it’s not working at all. I had to returned it back and explained the situation. I am expecting to get full refund or offer me something else which he didn’t. He charged me 20% restocking fee while he took returned item without my knowledge. Be careful with this store or you will be next victim like me.
Wasn’t a believer until I bought a 13 dollar belt sander years ago and hoped it would last me a project or two. I think I may have to donate it if I ever want to be in need of buying another one.
The staff here is one of the best locations I’ve been too. I prefer it over Hanover park and Cary, the staff always makes sure your getting the best deal possible and is super friendly with answers. Probably the best place I’ve been to if you ever need a random tool to make that next project easier. Also they have a lot of tools that may normally only be available at a premium price point and the DIY’re the solution they provide is great.
Their products and easy customer service make me reminisce about the good old days of well built, inexpensive tools, that carried a lifetime or long term warranty.
I just bought an oscillating spindle/belt sander that is 99% the same guts as a Rigid for 4-5x the price. Never thought I’d own a luxury sanding item like that for the shop but I got that and a cart full of tools for less than the cost of one at the big orange store.
Oh also people like to harp on the “imported quality” where do you think everyone else comes from? You’re paying for a brand, up until recently the Hercules lineup of tools actually had Samsung sourced battery cells being utilized. I don’t think most people at this stage of the game think Samsung doesn’t know what they are doing when it comes to electronics.
I was in the area and came in here to purchase a load leveler for a Harbor Freight shop crane used for an engine swap. This HF is in a strip mall and feels a lot smaller than other locations. The aisles feel closer together but it still has everything that a HF should have in stock!
The clearance section was on a table right in the front of the store which I thought was neat. It wasn't hidden back in some dark corner like other HF locations. I think it took me all of two minutes to find my load leveler and check out!
I love Harbor Freight Tools, I don't think they deserve the poor reputation attributed to their products, they have demonstrated they know what their customers want and can give it to them with good quality service at reasonable rates.

I guarantee you guys get lost in the store who are just going in for window shopping when they’re bored. good value everything they’re most likely is made in the far east but you get a lot of bang for your book. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Bought an impact screw driver set here and a few other trinkets as one does when they walk into a harbor freight. Overall tho, good value for your money, staff was helpful.
Hey!! They deff are a bargain and they’ve been working on their quality and name. I visit often and love it. They often time have amazing sales and their prices beat any competition out there! Go for the old school brands…. Snap-on, mac tools and go broke!!! Or visit them. Yeah, some tools are what they are but they’ve really stepped up their game. Visit and do your own research but I’m giving them 5 stars.
It's a tool man's dream. The place is so clean and organized. The staff was so available and so helpful. I had no clue about what I was buying and they jumped right in to help me find what I needed and a little bit of an explanation. I would definitely bypass big box for that kind of service and great prices.
I process a air compressor from them The compressor wasn’t work properly. I come back to return it after two hours they charge me 20% stocking fee . I was trying to ask manager. Her name is Brenda to help me with that return she was very rude. She was trying to charge me $129 the price for compressor was $399 - 20% is just $80 when I told her that she was acting like was a mistake. Not recommending this store.
In the time of need, I purchased a generator (predator brand). Plain and simple, it operated on overload without anything being plugged into it-zero power output. So, it didn't solve my issue in time of need. Then I wasn't credited my full amount for a faulty machine. I get that this company makes a lot of money with the restocking fee-20%(customers beware), but this is ridiculous. I made a report to the company and still no response. I asked for you to make it right, I heard nothing! I will take my business elsewhere. Really sad the customer service is a lost art!
This store and staff always leave me with a great shopping experience. I frequent the location and each time, I'm repeatedly asked if I need help. The store is well kept and has easy to see wayfinding. The store does share parking with busy, neighboring retailers and services so take my advice and park behind the facility; there is a large, empty parking lot North of the shopping center that connects via walkway (between the daycare center and health club).
This is the first place I go for anything hardware related, house related or tools. Prices are most of the time a third to two thirds less than you would pay anywhere else. The quality of them is top tier. Great for you and everyday, Dad presents or surprises. Staff is super knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to explain things, sometimes twice without acting like you are wasting their time. If you aren't exactly sure what to buy (me, sometimes) they do offer gift cards. +++!!! Next time you need a tool, piece of hardware, something car related try Harbor Freight first.
Liked the place pretty much. Nice well round collection of low cost hardware needs. Being a visitor, the store reminded me of Princess Auto. This particular store is a decently stocked. Store personnel are helping customers as and when needed. During my trip I found moderate customer presence. There are lots of parking spots but availability depend on the time of day.
Harbor freight is fairly consistent. You almost always can find the least expensive tool for the job here. But, sometimes, you get what you pay for. This time, I went in looking for the least expensive pneumatic crown stapler I could find, to do one job. Over three thousand staples later, I am completely satisfied. It held up just fine. It cost me very little. It finished the job. It never misfired once. My family room floor looks fantastic. If it never works again, then I am still satisfied. If you can be fine with occasional quality issues, and you have reasonable expectations, then your wallet will not be disappointed. God job Harbor Freight!
I usually do not write reviews but I had a great experience at this store. I went to buy some impact sockets but just because the cashier I believe his name was Dominic gave me such a great service I ended up buying a jack and jack stand set. I will definitely recommend this location to everyone. Great service. Thank you
Great staff, offered a mask on entry as I did not have one and gladly accepted. Asked where an item was and said I would take it (it was a heavy object) didn't asked and the employee picked it up and delivered it the the cashier's desk. First time buyer at Harbor Frieght, I do my comparisons online and in this case they were 40$ under anyone else. This review is more about the employees at this store then the company itself. They were outstanding.
