Upon review prior to contacting the company they were considered top notch so I decided to try them. Firstly the people there especially LaLo, the manager makes it a point to make you welcome and comfortable. He’ll personally make you understand their services and your what the expectations are.

Great customer service—super convenient that they provide rides to and from while working on your car. They successfully removed my dent and went the extra mile to buff out the scratches as best they could without needing a paint job. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need any body work done!
I brought my car in for a bumper and front sensor fix and everything turned out amazing on the vehicle.
The only issue I had was that the communication wasn't great. I was told I would get a call when the parts came in to confirm drop off but I didn't hear anything so I had to call in and check. I was told that it should be done by Friday and I would get updates but I did not receive any updates so I called in Thursday afternoon. They told me it should be done until Monday and they sent me a text the day before but I never received it. I didn't get any updates on Monday either so I called in to double check that I could pick up the vehicle.
Based on the reviews it seems like I might have had a one off experience. I think the shop did an amazing job on the vehicle and seemed professional when I went in for an estimate. State farm (Eric Esch office) recommended them as well.
I’ve been using Total Collision for the past six years for various PDR work, and they’ve consistently delivered excellent results. Their team is friendly, professional, and always willing to accommodate my schedule. The work is top-notch, reasonably priced, and completed with care. While I never enjoy needing PDR services, it’s reassuring to know I have a trustworthy, reputable shop I can always count on.

After my car was damaged by hail on May 15, 2025, I was really upset, but their team made my car look like new again! I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend their services!
Dishonest and Rude.
I am adding an update to the original review. I feel the removal of it is not justified by making good on a bad only after being called out. After a manager read this review they called me and offered to repair the rim or replace at their cost. I was given an in house loaner and the car was ready after a few days.
I hate to leave negative reviews but when a business goes out of their way to insult a customer it just can't be helped.
I had a claim to fix my bumper/wheel after a minor fender bender. The paint was not correctly matched and the rim had paint pooling. I asked to have the paint blended in on the other side so it would not look tacky, even though I could have insisted on a complete repaint. I was not being unreasonable. The car was also shaking when driving and making noises after I picked it up. I was told to take it in for a wheel balance...ok. That done it did not improve the operation of the car. Alan insisted that this was not part of the accident that it was wear. There was no noise before the incident and this was happening only to the wheel that was hit. The insurance adjuster came out and approved the repair of paint of the car, the rim, and the repair of the control arm. My vehicle was in their shop for 6 weeks total which is ridiculous in itself. When I picked up the car the second time my trunk was not opening. I called if it could be a fuse issue. Alan said they did not do anything to the trunk and that they did me a favor by painting the car and by fixing the control arm. He kept repeating that he did me a favor on and on. State Farm paid $9000 plus I paid my deductible, for the repairs and I am so glad that Alan was able to do me this favor. What is taking me over the top is that they moved my badly painted rim to the back, pretending that they repainted the front one! They botched the paint jobs, they did not fix the mechanical damage right away, lied and were rude.
I had three small dents on my car that are now fixed! These three small dents annoyed me and after searching and discovering what PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) is, I had to give it a shot.
Getting a quote was simple because you can submit pictures through the website, and more can be sent by email once you are contacted. This was so convenient because it saves time from having to drop your vehicle off twice and scheduling around work.
Once I received my quote (that I thought was fair and that I was more than willing to pay), I scheduled to take my car in. I dropped my car off in the morning and my vehicle was finished within a few hours, just like the quote stated.
The work is great, I can't even tell the dents were there and my mind can now be put at ease when I look at my car. It really is an "art" form and the skill involved shows. My issues were minor compared to what PDR can actually fix, but either way, it was 100% worth it and I am 100% satisfied.
I would absolutely recommend taking your car here to get it "fixed," no matter how big or small the issue. If I have a future issue with my vehicle that I want fixed, I will bring it back to TOTAL Collision & PDR Hail Repair.

Total Colission & PDR was great. The staff was super friendly. Service was fast and the work was immaculate.
I took my Bronco to them for a pretty sharp and deep door ding. They were able to get me in right away when I called about scheduling an estimate for PDR. Getting the estimate was quick and easy. It was even significantly cheaper than an estimate from another shop . They were able to schedule the PDR the next day. I returned a couple hours after dropping my Bronco off and was blown away with how well it turned out. I would definitely go to them again if PDR or body work is needed.
I was pleased with my experience working with Total Collision &PDR. Every person I spoke with there was knowledgeable and helpful in the process of getting my car repaired. They gave great info on how they work with my insurance, and they offered advice on how I can ensure getting my deductible covered by the person who damaged my car. My car interior was cleaned well and my daughter’s college sticker was reattached in the same spot on my new trunk door as I had placed it originally. This was my first time dealing with a repair after an accident and Total Collision & PDR made the process easy. Thank you!
I had a great experience with Total Collision & PDR HAIL Repair. They were in touch with me throughout the whole process from the time my car was towed in, up until completion of repairs. They were very helpful, and took the time to explain everything step by step so that I knew exactly what was going on. They did such a great job on my car, I would have no problem referring them to anyone.
Tesla was fixed excellently and no issues, what I would expect and would have gotten them 5 stars if it stopped there. The biggest surprise and a most welcomed service was THEY CLEANED THE INSIDE OF THE CAR! It has not looked that good since the day I brought it home from the dealer. I may have to get some damage again in a few years and take it back. Will return every time and cannot recommend enough!

In addition, they stand behind their work and are always professional. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they will go out of their way to help you. Got a pretty bad door ding at work- called and emailed over photos- a quote was sent in less than 20 minutes. I thought it was too good to be true. Went to location and Alan assured me they will make it look good. He told me he could fit me in next day at 8am- dropped the car off and was ready by 1pm. First 4 photos are of ding- last 3 are the final Result. Thank you- save me a ton of money. Was less than 500$.
Have been repairing my car there twice. I would like to say I’m happy to see them every time, but I can’t because it means I got in a car accident again..
In reality those guys help me to forget about my bad luck every time. Extremely professional, high quality service. My car come out as perfect as new each time.
There has been delay in parts and some other issues that were connected to my dealer this time, BUT it wasn’t their fault by any means and most importantly Jeff (the manager) was in contact with me every single day! He was updating me on how things were going and personally making sure my Porsche dealer fixed other non related to the accident problems under my warranty and got it back to me all repaired for my safety.

I have used Total Collision twice, including today, and I highly recommend them. My customer service experience was excellent, thanks in part to Bianca at the desk. I received both emails and phone calls regarding the status of my car repair from both Bianca and Allen. When I emailed them back during business hours and had a question, I received an email response back very quickly.

My red Jeep Wrangler had hail damage that was taken care of promptly and with expertise. When I picked up my Jeep, I was happy to see it restored to normal with no evidence of hail damage. I would trust Total Collision with my vehicle again!
Found this place through my State Farm agent and they didn’t an amazing job. Great customer service. Had a busted front end on my 2007 Mercedes SLK. They took it in and within a couple days I had it back good as new. Went from cracked and chipped to looking new. Bringing my financé car for a new windshield and back bumper. Highly recommend .
I highly recommend total collision. Go here first and look no further. From Briana that answered the phone, to Alan and Jeff that estimated the repair it was a great experience. Everyone was very professional, considerate of my time and went above and beyond to help me with a repair I was paying out of pocket. It’s rare to find a repair shop that takes the time with their customers to educate you on options and showed they had my best interest in mind. I feel very lucky to have found them!
This was my first time involved in a car accident so sure enough I had no idea how to go about this. When I went to go check out the body shop, i was impressed right away! The service they provide is outstanding and they answers all my questions! I did use Total Collision for the repairs. They did such a phenomenal job! I am so happy with how my car turned out!! No one likes to hassle with a car accident, but they took all the stress away!

Highly recommend. The only issue is I think they should but Tesla's into service mode, should help preserve battery and the owners shouldn't be able to control the car while in the shop.
Our family recently had a mishap with our beloved 200 series Land Cruiser. The damage was isolated to the rear of the truck and drivers quarter panel but fairly deep in the body work. This shop is not so much a body repair shop as it is a body replacement shop. They are not slamming out dents and sheet metal and slapping bondo back over the wrinkles to make it look ok. They are actually replacing the metal with factory new and fixing the truck the right way. Given that i know I want to keep this truck for a very long time, getting this done the right way was important to me. The repairs turned out perfect and I wanted to give kudos to Total Collision and PDR in Arlington Heights for doing a perfect job in bringing our truck back to the way it was! If anyone has body shop business that they need done perfect, don't hesitate to bring your truck in! You can see from the pictures that the paint was a 100% perfect match, which is not easy in a Pearl white 3 stage paint! They handled insurance the whole way, aligned up the appraiser, the whole 9! I’ve used Total Collision & PDR a few times this year—for paintless dent repair, buffing out scratches, and fixing damage from a rear-end collision. Alan Martinez is fantastic—always patient, thorough, and never makes you feel like you're a bother, which I’ve experienced at other body shops. They’re responsive, accessible, and provide top-notch service. Hopefully, you won’t need a body shop, but if you do, I highly recommend them! Oh, and my car looked brand new with the detailing they did before I picked it up
