This place is remarkable. I've come to them twice after banging up my car and they have put together affordable and fast solutions so I could keep driving it safely. (Example: I accidently tore off my spoiler fin and they welded it back on.) My go-to auto shop (Buffalo Grove Auto) recommends them for all body work and I do too! They don't really take formal appointments, but seem to work just fine on a walk-in basis if you give them a heads up that you're coming.
I went to Hi Tech Auto Body through recommendation and now I highly recommend them to everyone. They do awesome work and they are very reasonably priced! Best body shop I've ever dealt with. Friendly, professional and guaranteed.
After my accident, the body shop my insurance company recommended had them totaling my car which did not work with us. I had to fight my own insurance company to save my car. It wasn't until they spoke to the owner of HI Tech that they felt comfortable with his lower price and the reasons why. He didn't pad up the estimate like the first shop. He fixed what needed to be fixed and did an excellent job of it. Quickly too. My car looked better than it did when I bought it (used).
We just had 2 cars serviced by Hi Tech. One car had a substantial front end damage due to a car accident. Hi Tech helped us to tow our car there and took care of all insurance related processing. It was the easiest ever and absolutely stress free. They were also giving us constant updates, and repaires were completed in a very reasonable time. Our car looks great now and no issues. Very satisfied. Our 2nd car needed some mechanical work and we are so glad we brought it to Hi Tech. The owner was very honest and told us only what needs to be done unlike some other places where we were almost taken for a ride. So many places would love to take an advantage of you and sell you something your car does not really require. However, we felt that at Hi Tech their reputation was more important to them. We feel that Hi Tech is a professional reputable place that you can trust to take care of your cars needs (body shop or mechanical repairs). Give them a chance and you will thank us later.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Arlington Hi-Tech Auto Body really deserves one. This place is different from other shops I’ve been to. The owner, Andrey, was honest and upfront from the start. He didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, and I really appreciated that. He also gave me a clear timeline—and finished the job even earlier than expected.
When I picked up my car, I couldn’t even tell where the damage had been. It looked perfect. The team there clearly pays attention to the small details, and it shows in their work.

Recommended by my Toyota dealer to fix some body damage, went there, seemed pretty disinterested,looked at the damage and took down my information and said they would estimate and get back to me. Never heard a word. Mostly irritated with Toyota for recommending this shop.

Roman, Andrew and team are always wonderful to work with. They've been taking care of my 2008 Mercedes for about two years and I've always been pleased with the service and work performed. A good and trustworthy mechanic is hard to find; I'm very thankful to have found this collective.
I worked with Andre and his team to repair a major scratch on my passenger side door. The shop I was originally referred to wanted to scheduled me for 2 months later. After speaking with Andre, they took my car in 2 days later after insurance approvals came through.
Their team was thorough with their repairs and even left the inside of the car cleaner than they found it. I was impressed with the speed of the turnaround and they even threw in an extra small repair at no charge. I am now ~1-month out from the date of repair and have had not noticed any new or lingering issues.
While the other body shops said ‘It will be months before we can get parts’, Arlington Hi Tech said ‘Bring the car over and I’ll make some calls’. (Side note: my car is a 2010 in a generic silver color, no bells and whistles like the new cars.) After the initial evaluation and the shop made calls to find parts, my car had an appointment the next week for the repairs! Drop off was easy peasy (there’s even an Enterprise within a 10 minute walk but that’s another review) and when the shop said they will have the car a couple weeks they called 2 weeks later and said ‘She’s ready for pick up’.
The work they did was spot on and the car looks better than it did when I got it (certified pre-owned) from the dealership! They absolutely took great care in the body work and went above and beyond my expectations! Highly recommended shop, great customer service, great work, reasonable prices, and great communication from the shop!
Replacing the exhaust, you can see the difference on the pictures. Fast work, very good paint quality (painted the rear bumper) and nice guys to deal with!!!
I tried t his place on the recommendation of a friend and it is just terrific: Great work replacing the driver's side door on my almost-brand-new car - you cannot tell difference between the original door and their work. Work was finished in fewer days than quoted so we could have it for the weekend. Excellent communication - it was a complicated situation but they kept me well informed and were easy to get hold of and responsive to all my questions. Found parts in a few days by marking calls when other shops said parts would take at least 6 weeks (!) because of supply chain problems (but they were just looking up timeframes in a national database). Extremely friendly and professional. Price was competitive with other shops but service was the best I've ever had in all respects. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere but here.
