Wheeling Auto Center has been my go-to for maintenance and issues with my cars for over 15 years. Service is always friendly and inspections are thorough, doing only work that is necessary. Several times they have found ways to save me money and facilitated work my dealer should have honored. Having loaner cars is really convenient and they stand by their warranty on their work. Highly recommended!
I love this place. Amazing customer service both times I’ve gone. I appreciate the email with photos and other diagnostic info when they assess the needed repairs. Best of all is the complimentary car they provide so you aren’t stranded without your vehicle while they work on it.
meh experience, they took a long time to get not that much done. but the worst part came after — they incorrectly reported my vehicle’s mileage on the carfax.
i was in the process of selling the car, and the buyer thought i was trying to roll back the odometer. do you know how serious that is? that kind of mistake could put me in jail.
this kind of error is not something that can just “happen.” mileage reporting is a legal matter, and messing it up can make the car look suspicious, even if it’s not. super careless and extremely frustrating.
would not recommend — take your car somewhere that pays attention to details and understands how serious this stuff is.
They always do a great job every time I go there! They are able to help me out in a timely manner and are truthful. They only tell you needs to be worked on for your car. They never try to upsell like they do at dealerships. Highly recommend!
I have always experienced good service and honesty from Wheeling auto. My last visit there was for an oil change and my “service engine soon” light was on. They identified numerous things to repair, some were a bit alarming given the low mileage on my car. To be fair, the technician also thought it was unusual and suggested I contact Ford, but only when I questioned him about what they “found”. I did that and turns out their tests indicated I needed a new engine due to a known faulty engine in my make and model. The technician indicated that an independent service facility would NOT have identified this and did not fault Wheeling auto for what they THOUGHT might be the issue (which was not) with the diagnostic testing and information available to them. Some of the other repairs were warranted.
Thank you Wheeling Auto for service. You happily took care of my need to mount up 2 new boat trailer tires and wheels that I didn't purchase from you. Other service centers declined because I didn't purchase from them. Thank you for the same day service at a very fair price
Wheeling Auto is great. My car was thoroughly inspected, a list of possible repairs or maintenance was given to me and I was able to decide which issues I wanted to take care of at the time of my visit. No pressure and great advice on how to proceed.
This is Juarez landscaping just want to say that I've been to three Chevy dealers and none of them give me the service that Wheeling Auto give me they have the best technician mechanics and I wouldn't trust anybody else. Every time I go to a Chevy dealer I always have to bring it back due to the mistakes they do all the time so trust me just go to Wheeling Auto and get it done right so you won't have to go back and waste your time!!!!
Came in to have breaks replaced after dealer wanted to charge me way too much to have them done during a recall. Wheeling Auto was able to get me in on short notice and give me a borrowable car, car runs great with the new breaks. They gave me a large break down of different items that could be fixed (which did throw me off) but i settled for just the brakes and they got them done quickly and at a fair price.

Friendly, efficient service at a much more reasonable price than a dealership. They have been servicing a variety of my cars including higher end European ones for over a decade without a hitch.
I'm glad I found this place. Spending money on your car almost always sucks, but it's bearable here. They don't schmooze you or scare you and they take the time to explain why they are recommending something. I like everyone i've encountered from the front desk, technician, & shuttle. I feel confident that the work is getting done well and they are really good about keeping to the timelines they give.
What's also really nice to hear is if there is a line everyone is really pleasant. I've never heard anyone pissed about something and they seem to just have good relationships in the general chit chat I overhear.
An honest , friendly, high quality shop for any auto service issue. Having recently moved to Deerfield, we were looking to find a local service, as we have dealt only with our original dealership since purchasing our Buick SUV during Covid. What a pleasant change! Got exactly what we needed along with our usual oil change, and it happened to be about 30+% cheaper than the dealer! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Wheeling auto was great they helped fix what jiffy lube refused to even look at even though jiffy lube caused the problem. In short wheeling auto is great and they def have me as a repeat customer!
This was an oil change. Everything in the shop was fine. I do want to give kudos to the desk personnel who were very nice people. I need a round trip ride home and the driver had a lot of personality. We had a good time.
I can't say enough great things about Wheeling Auto! This is the first shop where my husband and I feel relieved after each visit knowing that we got honest and great service. I got my trunk fixed this summer and the repair was more complex than we thought it would be. Not only did they provide a loaner, but they were helpful and professional throughout the whole process. Thank you SOOO much for all the work you do!!
The Subaru was finished on time and, as far as I can tell, it is running well. My only comment is that when I called about when the car would be ready, I was told that it was just about to get a car wash. I was pleased to hear that because it really needed the wash. But when it was realized that I also needed to have help (pick up) to get the car. I was told that I had to choose either a car wash or someone to pick me (it was late in the day). I choose to just have pick up in order to get the car. I am a little disappointed that I couldn’t have both.
Yesenia was very kind and great with communicating. The part needed for my Cherokee was ordered and fixed within a few hours. A lot quicker than I imagined! They are honest with prices and don’t up charge you. The receipt is also clear with where your money is being spent. I will be coming back for any other issues with my vehicle!
I’ve been taking our Audi Q5 to Wheeling Automotive for many years. They always do what they say they’re going to do. They are professional and honest. All the staff is friendly and they communicate very well.
I really appreciate that they keep an eye on standard scheduled maintenance items and things they see wearing. Wheeling Automotive keeps our vehicle in great shape and I appreciate that.

I took my car in because it was over heating and the heater wasn’t working. They diagnosed that it was probably the thermostat and could use a coolant flushing. But also said that it had re set itself and was working. If it continues then I would need to get the thermostats replaced. They preferred I just did right up front but since I have a car with engine issues and don’t know how much longer my car is even going to last I prefer to put any repairs off until absolutely necessary and they agreed. They did also that my back caliper is locking up, also something I need to watch out for.
My tires were pretty bald and I didn’t really want to replace because I don’t know how long I’ll have the car and don’t have a lot of $$$.. However , they had an extremely reasonable price to replace them so I did get that done and now feel safer going into winter.
Overall they are knowledgeable, they listen, they recommend repairs but don’t push them on you and they were affordable . I will go back here in the future.
I had a deed car on New Years Eve. Had it towed to wheeling auto and left it there. Since I had no appointment I was not sure how long it would take to fix it. When they called with the estimate and I gave the ok to fix it. I had my car back within a few hours. Good job!!
Overall disappointed with service. Was in town from out of state for the holiday and had a slow leak. They were able to get me in and ended up recommending replacing all the TPMS, total a $600 service.
However they didn't fix the leak. They just assumed it was a bad seal in the TPMS and didn't check the tire after to see if it held air.
Ended up having to take it a shop when I got home and it was a $30 fix to pull a nail out and patch it.
EDIT: As you can see below they said to reach out to them to make it right. I called. Ben hung up on me twice. So they clearly do not want to make it right. 0/5
Although Dave and the guys are greatly missed, Wheeling Auto continues to provide excellent service. Easy to make an appointment and reliable job. Great job when my car was towed for service. Staff went out of their way to provide assistance to save money in the future. Give Wheeling Auto a try!
Very Helpful folks. Replaced my dying battery and looked into why my remote start did not work for no extra charge. Have used this shop for almost 20 years.
I am very happy with all the work done to my car each and every time I bring my car in. Everyone who works there always takes the time to explain what is being done to the car and why. Everyone has been very professional and very nice. I recommend them highly.
