My husband had reached out to Bernard's and he had met us within about 30 mins and was able to tow my car to where it needed to be towed and took care of the rest for us. Dangerous driver. I was already going about 15 mph over the speed limit and still had Bernard’s truck glued to my bumper. I finally pulled onto the shoulder so he could pass, and he blasted by at what had to be near 80 mph on a dark, winding road posted at 60.
About 15 minutes later, the same truck was parked outside a bar in Uniontown—so apparently the emergency was happy hour. Reckless, bullying driving like this is dangerous. Spend your money elsewhere
We called them in the middle of the night. They were really helpful and they pointed out that if we had full coverage on our insurance, our insurance company should pay for the tow (someone from our insurance company mistakenly thought we should be paying for it because we didn't have roadside assistance, even though towing from an accident is covered under collision.) They also followed up with us to make sure we got a tow, even though we ended up going with a company a bit closer to our house. Excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.
The owner was friendly and understanding of my situation. My son had got my car impounded. I had to drive 3 1/2 hrs to get it out of impound at Bernards. They were kind and even though I was 42 minutes into the next day, I was not charged. How many Tow companies are so kind :)
