Please don't fall for the good reviews on this company like I did. They took us for almost $2000 and didn't actually fix our vehicle, and then refused to refund us anything or give us another option to fix it. No one called us back, to tell us what was wrong and they had it for 2 weeks. Then they blamed us for being upset when they were unprofessional and rude by implying we don’t know what were talking about. I asked to speak to the owner several times they wouldn't even let me talk to anybody but t the manager, Will who was trying to blame me for not understanding when all they did was put a band aid on it, and it ran for a few weeks and then broke right back down . Our engine is ruined!! My husband tried speaking to him and he wouldn't help him either. I have text proof of the manager's behavior This is the worst experience we have ever had with any mechanic or auto shop ever. We will be filing a complaint
Took my 04 ford explorer in for a "clicking, no start" issue. Before taking in i spent 3 days troubleshooting (battery tested and replaced, starter pulled and tested, etc) hit a point it was out of my scope. When i took it in they where extremely understanding, nice, and professional. Figured out my issue and resolved it in about 3 hours. Ive never had such prompt service with a shop before. This will now be my go to place.
If I could give 10 stars I would. top-notch from the front desk to the mechanics.

Was traveling through on my way north and had an issue with my F-250 called and they were able to get me in same day. The front counter team was nice and knew what they were doing with great customer service. long story short they got me back on the road same day, price and communication were awesome.

I was referred to Blue Wrench by my mobile Mechanic, Andrew Ballard. For those that don't want to read a lot, suffice it to say, I'm happy.
I brought my second Gen Dodge Diesel to them because of a variety of electrical gremlins. Not charging the battery, mysterious power loss, ECM fault codes, Etc.
That poor truck had been subjected to a lot of shade tree "Fixes" over the years prior to my owning it. Electrical splices everywhere. Hacked and improper connections.
I did have some issues with communication. My truck was there for six weeks. Vacations and life happened. I get that.
They apologized profusely. Garrett, the shop foreman was assigned my nightmare truck. He's also one of three people that went on vacation.
I'm a Heating and A/C Contractor. Fortunately for me, I have a spare truck to work out of.
The repairs that were done are nothing short of spectacular.
Garrett knows his stuff backwards, forwards and upside down.
Brilliant technician that I got to meet.
All my concerns and drivability issues have been resolved.
My beloved workhorse of a truck is now back in rotation.

As an extra bonus, the repair cost was very reasonable.

Update, unfortunately I'm still getting my vehicle serviced and don't see a completion date however the team has been working with me and I know they are here to help, my situation is a disaster.
My vehicle is currently being worked on here at the Meridian location, however it has been there since June 2024, now they do not answer their phone and they do not return my messages.
We have been using Blue Wrench for years, but have been especially happy with our more recent experiences due to Maddie who has been working at this location for the last year or so. She goes above and beyond in helping us make financial decisions regarding our truck maintenance, and we couldn't be more impressed. She knows her stuff! Thank you, Maddie!

I was considering this shop until I heard from a coworker that they tried to take advantage of my coworkers trust. He went in for a diagnostic on his air conditioning and this company charged him 200+ to diagnose the vehicle. They told him it was going to be upwards of 2000$!!!! He went to a different mechanic and fixed the problem for 220$!
I initially heard about this company when I was broken down on the side of the road and Shawn (who works there) stopped to offer assistance. That act of kindness earned by business, and I’ve now been there twice with two different issues. Everyone that I’ve interacted with (Shawn and Maddy) has AMAZING customer service, and of course the mechanical work is top notch too. I can’t recommend this company highly enough!

My little old red Jeep Wrangler and I couldn't be happier with the care and service we received at Blue Wrench! They found the source of a leak and spotted a couple of other issues that needed attention. Everyone I spoke with over the phone and at the shop was so nice and friendly. The cost to do the work was very reasonable. My Jeep is running great, is leak-free and with the help of Blue Wrench, maybe it's run for another 20 years!
I recently moved to Idaho from another state where I had multiple family members to fix anything on my car, so I was nervous about finding good help & honest people. I have been to Blue Wrench 4 times now, 2 for oil changes (1 tire rotation), 2 for significant car repairs. They have been so helpful and kind. They’ve always gotten me scheduled in a reasonable amount of time!
Myself being a business owner and owning a fleet of vehicles I discovered that I had to find a commercial repair company that was reliable, honest and most importantly trustworthy. After being screwed by 2 other repair shops I came across Blue Wrench. At first I had experience some issues that was do to previous management but then once management had changed hands and the new owner Paul took over I saw a big change in the Company. From the owner to his mechanics this company by far go above and beyond to provide the best services they can for their customers. Great quality service! The breaks on my car were all messed up and they were making this horrible screeching noise. I took it over to the employees at Blue Wrench and they knew exactly what to do! It didn’t take very long before the breaks on my car were working like brand new. Overall 12/10 service would highly recommend. Keep up the great work guys!
Great guys, very responsive and super friendly to overlanders like us. We asked them to check for our Iveco’s turbo and willingly did it the same morning without obligations and with a smile. Oil change at decent price and consider you have the right people to take care of your turbodiesel pick-up/RV/truck or whatever weighs up to 15,000 lbs. Thank you Sam, Derek & Co!
Very accommodating and willing to help out in an emergency! On day 2 of our vacation our motorhome was hit by an object on the freeway. After calling numerous repair shops who all told us they couldn’t help, Blue Wrench said to come in and they would do what they could to help us out. Parts were ordered and we were patched up so we could continue on our trip. Excellent experience, A+++ service, very appreciated!
Horrible!! I’ve had better service and professionalism from ammco I was thinking about leaving my mechanic and starting a fleet account with blue wrench, I previously dropped my truck off for a water pump and things had went smooth so I came back when my check engine light came on to get my spark plugs and heater fixed, in the process of getting the heater fixed they had replaced multiple parts including wiring which my truck then smelt like burnt wires, to sum things up quickly I had to bring my truck back 3 times to be told they can’t do anything. But that’s beyond the point while bringing my truck back every 3 days for them to slowly get it in to look at I was disrespected and shown the worst customer service I’ve ever seen!!! They once told me after me calling and asking if my truck would be done that they didn’t know and they would call me back! I said no problem I just need to know when it will be done so I can arrange a ride! They then never called me to tell me when it would be done, so I waited called back the next day to be told someone was at lunch and would call me back, to which no one ever called back, at this point I was aggravated as they had tried to tell me I need another part I said no thank you! As I would much rather pay someone else to fix anything they did to my truck, when I walked into the office and asked when my truck would be done I was told to my face it would be done in a week! Completely unprofessional and as a business owner myself I would never conduct business in this manner! I would recommend everyone go to dependable automotive in nampa for cheap reliable service with awesome customer service
I hate that I have to do this but this overcharging cannot go unchallenged.
I’ve been taking my motor coach to these guys for more than 2 years. I’ve always paid about $220 for an oil/filter change in both the chassis engine and the Generator. This time $350 for JUST THE CHASSIS with no warning. If you need to raise my price then warn me ahead of time. I can stomach small increases to keep up with inflation no problem. But since they charged me another $600 to change the serpentine belt tensioner pulley I’m guessing it’s not about the relationship anymore. I EVEN SUPPLIED THE PARTS!! Parking lot is full we better double our prices!!! $942 for an oil change and a tensioner pulley change. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I should have known better after they wanted to charge me several hundred dollars to replace a fuel filter housing they suspected was cracked. Took it to the dealer thinking it would be covered under warranty and it just wasn’t installed correctly (by Blue Wrench). Work was mostly done BEFORE they called for authorization.
I must say that Idaho fleet Service or now Blue Wrench is the best mechanic shops I have dealt with. I work with them for all our fleet needs for Franklin Building Supply and they always go the extra mile to take care of their customer! Great communication, great service, and they even will come onsite for quick fixes, DOT inspections, or to pick a truck up! A+ Company!!!
