I was greeted as the doors opened with a smile. It was a great car buying experience. Shannon made the process seamless. I would highly recommend CarMax, and even further, I would highly recommend Shannon. I can't say enough nice things about this experience.

I started off with Shae, he's an amazing person. Went in for a test drive and ended up with Leila and let me tell you she is incredible, even tho we had to get past a keyboard that just died on us to getting past the 15 pictures of bicycles to prove she wasn't a robot...lol. Exceeded my expectations. I used the CarMax remote purchase (sale of my car) tool, comparing it to Carvana, Lithia Driveway, and my dealer relationships to sell my 2023 KIA Sportage Xline. With CarMax, EVERYTHING was as they promised. Straightforward, no games, and the time in and out was just as they promised. 2014 Ford Fusion I bought the car Oct 1st, ever since then it’s been having a problem of randomly shaking and turning off. After being in the shop for a month it was dismissed as “nothing is wrong”. After 2 loaner cars my car is still having this problem and it’s Jan (12) I have been offered an appointment for the 19th. This means I am driving a car that can randomly turn itself off for months, it’s a lack of concern. While I understand things happen, it seems others have had similar experiences of things not being discussed at buying. While I understand shops can be busy dismissing a problem when I had multiple video proofs is a little crazy. Hope it all can get fixed though :)

Purchased a 2016 Toyota Avalon, once I received the car there was not only a decent amount of damage that was undisclosed in the listing but issues that forced me to pull over on a highway on the way home. They fixed some of the issues after the fact, and also refunded my shipping but that doesn't make up for all the extra time and stress. The car obviously was not properly inspected on MULTIPLE occasions. There were scratches disclosed in the listing that I can't even see, meanwhile parts of the car are held on with zip ties and entire handles of the car are still masked from it's last repair. The entire process was mediocre and unprofessional I would not recommend buying from CarMax in the future.

This place was so easy to work with. My daughter got a very nice car with very low miles. When we went on a test drive, we noticed that a headlight was out. They kept the car to fix the headlight and gave her a loaner while they fixed it. While they had her car, they went through everything again to make sure there were no other issues. I also like that they included a 90 day 4000 mile warranty. Not many used car lots will do that. I highly recommend them!

The experience was smooth from start to finish. I received a higher offer in the online quote than I expected, and that quote was honored after my car was inspected. That was great; I was anticipating that there would be an attempt to lower the final payment once I got into the store, and there wasn't. For that, and for the overall great service, thanks Carmax.

Brought in a Toyota forerunner to sell it to them. They made us a fair offer and we accepted. When we went home to get the title and came back, the offer was even more. Rob was awesome.

Well where do I start. We recently made an automobile purchase here and since we have gotten the car it has been back to the service dept 4 times and counting. It's going in again due to being returned to us after reporting an issue the service tech denied existing and actually being confirmed by another employee after returning because it was not addressed and the employee that I spoke with actually got in the car car with me and confirmed the grinding noise the tech and other supposed tech that drove around together could not hear. We asked for the car to be taken back or allow us to move into a different vehicle because of the multitude of issues and have been refused. So its going to another mechanic outside of carmax itself for existing issues having been reported and ignored. The staff has been very nice but at this point im questioning the integrity of the dealership and the quality of the vehicle they have sold me. It's sad to know how hard you work for your money to have it stolen from through a transaction where you're told your getting a quality product and in this case it is certainly not true.

My experience at CarMax in Meridian was great! Max greeted me as soon as I walked in and we got to work immediately. The offer I received via email was what I walked out with. Everything was frictionless as possible and I was in and out in under an hour. I highly recommend you choose CarMax first off you’re looking to sell or trade your vehicle.

I so appreciated the ability to shop for a new car on my schedule, taking as much time as I needed to compare models, wait for the right vehicle, and understand completely what I was buying. I also really appreciate the set price. I think that reduced the stress significantly knowing I wouldn't have to negotiate. I was a little bit disappointed in the trade-in value of my vehicle, but the trade-off was not having to find a buyer. Also, I think they could increase buyers satisfaction if they explained up front how long it was going to take to actually do the paperwork to purchase the new car and sell the trade in.

I purchased a vehicle a few months ago. When I looked the vehicle over, there was a chip in the windshield. I told them I was OK with the chip as long as it had been repaired. They assured me multiple times that it was repaired. Now I have a crack that goes across my windshield where this chip is. I called Carmax and was told a service manager would call me back in a couple minutes. It has been a couple hours. I had planned to buy more vehicles for my fleet with Carmax. I now have second thoughts. ( Update) CarMax looked up my information. They made it right. My windshield was repaired. Went from a 1 star to a 5 I will be back to purchase in the future

I've dealt with Carmax in two states maybe a dozen times now. I believe they have sound customer service policy, fair pricing and honest dealing. I've had several price evaluations of used cars, sold them two cars in the past and most recently bought a car from Meridian Idaho Carmax. Trust, quality assurance, satisfaction, promises kept are my descriptive on the experience. The follow-up service has been splendid.

Purchased my first car all on my own here. Love that you can look at cars without being pushed by a salesperson. They aren’t pushy for you to buy. I worked with Rob and can’t say one bad thing about him. He was wonderful, informative and super kind to us. Gave me actual advice instead of just wanting me to buy the vehicle. Helped me ship a car out I liked from another location. I can’t thank him enough. If you’re interested in purchasing a car ask for Rob. He had a trainee with him for the last leg of our appointments, believe his name was Quann. He was also great, all very kind and helpful. Only thing I say is that you can’t ask for a specific person online and when we went to our appointments and asked for Rob, they gave us a tiny bit of a hard time. We told them we only wanted to work with him and they were able to help us though.

I had bought a 2014 Kia from another Carmax out of state vector I moves here. I was impressed with that Carmax and visited the one here when I needed a carmax Kia but they did not have what I was looking for.
