I am very pleased with my experience at the O'Reilly Auto Parts on Ustick and Eagle in Meridian. My husband is a disabled / combat wounded veteran and we have a 2019 dodge Durango. For those who don't know, the battery in these cars is under the passenger seat. Our car wouldn't start in the morning and wouldn't start again after failing the battery test that Henry completed.
Henry told me that it's not normally something they would do, as the battery is "hard to access", which installation for it would generally not be allowed. However, after seeing my husband's condition and a nice talk about the Air Force and being combat wounded, Henry offered to help us install the battery. He was in and out due to other customers coming and going, but after about 30 minutes the new battery was in and the car started right up. I left him a small tip (which I almost had to force him to take!!) and we went on our way.
I am thoroughly impressed with the amazing customer service I received from Henry and John on December 1st. Even though it was busy, they were both kind and helpful to each and every customer at the store. I so appreciate that there is still good in this world and these two kind gentlemen definitely add to the Christmas spirit each year.
I will definitely be returning to this O'Reilly Auto Parts store any time I need any kind of car parts or advice. Thank you Henry for the battery install and thank you John for your help as well.Dec 02, 2025 -
I went to buy a light bulb for my mazda 6. The 20 year old employee typed my needs and wants into the computer and came back with a bulb and said he can replace it for me. I was planning to consult youtube (strong independent woman and all), and I had my doubts he can really do it, but he insisted so I let him. We go to my car and this 20 year old insists my car is a mazda 3 and not a maazda 6. Now, he doesn’t know this, but I actually have a mazda 3 also (I loooove mazdas) and my mazda 3 in a manual and I was driving an automatic at that moment so it was a mazda 6 for sure. The 20 year old goes behind my car to check and is shocked to see it in fact is a mazda 6. This leads him to reveal that he can not replace the bulb. I take my bulb and leave. Maybe in another moment I would be offended by the lack of trust that I know what type of car I’m driving, but not this time.

Stopped into this o'reilly just needing a new air freshener for my car and ended up in an action movie. Just as I was about to pay, this dude came sprinting in yelling and screaming that I cut him off in traffic. Before I can even respond, he throws a punch at me.. The absolute G behind the counter (Jordan) did a ninja flip over the counter like he's been waiting for this moment his entire life, and just ruby roundhouses the guy like a world champion kickboxer. The angry dude ran off and I asked Jordan if he was okay. He said "Brother this ain't no autozone of course I'm okay".
5 stars does not begin to describe my experience here. My life was saved by this good samaritan. I would recommend this O'Reilly auto parts to anyone in a heartbeat.Nov 24, 2025 -

I was at this location at 8 o’clock in the morning on the 28th. While I was there shopping for wax and stuff to detail cars with later that day, my friend walked over to another aisle to do his shopping and I looked up to see one of the employees looking at me like I’m a criminal. I then overheard him tell his coworker hey, you need to watch these guys like we were doing something wrong when we weren’t. We were just normal customers being treated like we were criminals it was very disrespectful. I feel very turned off on O’Reillys now as a result of this interaction with a certain older gentleman that worked that morning that made me and my friend feel like we were criminals for just shopping in his auto parts store at 8 o’clock in the morning.

Went over September 28th 2025, to pickup a part that i put on hold so i could pick it up, came in with my receipt and the guy told us we couldn't pickup the O2 sensor because "thats not how inventory works" then he called the O'Rillys that we put it on hold threw and treated him terribly, my father and i got horrible treatment from employees and caused so much drama, will not be returning to any O'reilly stores after the treatment i have received from J (i can't remember his name it started with a J thats all i remember) and his coworkers, pluss treatment from other O'Reilly stores

I asked for a recommendation on an adhesive and the store employee said it would be a waste of time. I didn't ask for his opinion of that. I asked what a good adhesive is. Poor customer service.

I VERY much appreciate the manager at this store. I stopped in the night before because another store in Montana had given me a bad alternator just weeks before and I couldn't afford to get it changed again. The guys that night told me to come in in the morning to speak to the manager and I was really happy I did. He checked it and agreed and honored the warranty. When I said I couldn't afford the $600 on top of what I paid for the other one to get it changed and that I was just going to do it myself in their parking lot, he came out and did it with me. Thank you so much for taking the time and care to help!

I had just gone in with my brother and John is just blaintly rude. We have had issues as well as others with him being rude and inconsistent and with no integrity for his job. He is unhelpful and very rude when called out for being so. We were on hold and than we went into the store when we were hung up on and given no better treatment. He said they were busy to find almost no one there. He was sluggish and sighing a lot when asked any questions and very just rude. I've never been treated like that anywhere and he has been like this for quite some time and make every visit and call very upsetting. No customer service whatsoever and I see others have issues as well so I hope something is done about this finally. Everyone else at the location seems great but I just got more and more uncomfortable with John Everytime we go in.

It seems as though John has no integrity or respect for his customers. Ive had other altercations with him in the past, but recently, hes been very rude and aggressive. Id recommend going to Autozone. They are usually pretty nice to their customers.

We were put on hold for 15 minutes and hung up on. John was very inconsiderate and blantly rude about us calling back and was very harshed toned the whole call. Very unprofessional. Just because your store is busy doesn't not mean take that out ok customers that's day one customer service.

O’Reilly came through when I needed a quick fix. Walked in with zero clue what part I needed, and the guy behind the counter didn’t make me feel dumb—he looked it up, double-checked compatibility, and even walked me through the install basics. The store’s clean and organized, and they actually keep a solid amount of parts in stock. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable—and that matters when your car’s acting up. Definitely feels like a place made for real people who just need stuff that works.

I need to say this is absolutely the Best O'Reilly Auto Parts! I am always welcomed the moment I walk in, and offered assistance if needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rae and the care & professional assistance Rae provides. Rae is highly knowledgeable, personable and super-helpful. Thank you for making my experience so great! There are other O'Reillys--and other auto parts stores--closer to me, but I will make the Eagle Rd store my first destination for any auto parts needs (& recommend it to everyone I can)

They were great even when i had no idea what oil, how many cylinders were in my car and when i almost bought full synthetic. The guy at the front was amazing and went back at least 3 times to try to find the right oil for me!

My daughter went to get supplies for her car and the guy helping her disappeared, so she proceeded to take her items to the register standing there for a few minutes while another employee was up there. He didn't pay any attention to her because he was to busy on his cell phone to help a customer. My daughter just walked out without her items and came home upset and crying. Very disappointed, I work in customer service and when a customer comes to you that's your job not sitting on your cell phone!

My experience was phenomenal, William was amazing, I avoided this store for a really long time due to one particular employee. I dreaded having to come back to this store to get a new bulb for my car but because it was the closest one, I went in and I'm glad I did. William explained everything to me in a calm and collected tone and answered all my questions thoughtfully and respectfully. You have a Rockstar employee, don't ever lose him.

Went in to get rotors resurfaced that barely had any grooves to them. I changed my mom’s brakes and the pads had got worn down but not quite all the way through the pad. It was also her first time ever getting the pads replaced on the car. We asked to get our rotor’s resurfaced and the guy helping us told us he couldn’t do it even though I’ve seen rotors that are WAY worse that have been resurfaced. I’ve had rotors with indentations that have been resurfaced before these ones weren’t bad at all. We finally got him to do it but it took 3 hours. I’ve got rotors resurfaced multiple times at other locations and at most it takes 30 minutes. He gave us attitude and every time I’ve gone into this o’reily’s I haven’t had a good experience. I recommend to go to a different location where they actually prioritize customer service and not just help you when they feel like it.

Kaden was wonderful. He helped me diagnose that my car dying was just a battery issue, got me the correct battery and even replaced it for me right there. He was super nice the whole time. I’m glad I went here to get help with my car.

This store has always had exactly what I need, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. "Big John" is an excellent ambassador for O'Reilly's and is the ultimate face of customer service for this company. Most of us have had those long nights in a cold garage when we had to fix our beater cars by the next morning in order to get to work on time. This store has been my go-to for late night part runs for the past 5+ years and will continue to be!

I just had a super great experience at the O'Reilly Auto parts on 3420 North Eagle Road in Meridian Idaho. I was waited on by the manager, he helped me select wiper blades, he explained very well the difference in variety. He had a smile on his face, and he offered to install my blades. Beyond satisfied.

O'Reilly's at this location has never been bad to me. It's blatantly obvious they are horribly understaffed and I feel bad for the workers. The night I went in to get a cabin filter, there must have been at least 10 people in the store with 2 associates working and the phones nonstop ringing. Common O'Reilly's, don't screw your employees like that. They were very kind and helpful and got me exactly what I needed.

I had to remove and split a Transfer Case from a jeep that was leaking. Before I started I called O'Reilly Auto Parts to see if they had Locking C Ring Pliers to rent that were needed to open the case? I explained this was not Snap Ring Pliers, It was a special tool. I was told they did. This is a 4+ hour job. I found out they did not have this tool after I pulled the Transfer Case and went to get the Seals I needed before I put it back together. I was told the seal was a Special Order and would take several days to arrive.
I went and ordered the Special Tool (Wilde Tool G409P) It has now been 4 weeks and These Clowns have Special Order the wrong seal 3 times in a row. I received the tool I order in 3 day after it was ordered. These #$@! have turned a 4 hour repair into what’s looking like a 4+ week job.
I am so done with doing business with O'Reilly Auto Parts. I have had to have a plumber work around this jeep in my garage for a planned water softener installation.
I am Extremely Frustrated. I will never set-foot in another O'Rillys after I return these parts for a refund. I have been repairing automobiles for many years and have never seen such incompetents from a parts store at this level.Sep 06, 2020 -
No hassle, just stopped in to have my code checked. Young man helping me even took the time to look up what the code meant. Buy most of my parts from here because the price is usually the lowest. Good customer service every time. Even if my dad or fiance isn't with me they don't waste my time. Nice to not be treated differently as a young woman in an auto store. 10/10!

Michael, the manager, was very helpful with an electrical issue in my rear light. He helped me diagnose the real issue and order a new part from the dealer. I appreciate him finding out the real cause of why our rear brake light was not working consistently. He was helpful and patient with his advice. Give him a raise!
