Everyone was friendly and helpful, taking calls from a family member, who called frequently wanting updates on the status of the car. I received texts and calls bringing me up to date on the condition of the car, keeping me informed. If there was more cost involved, a call would be placed notifying of the situation & asking if the work could continue so I was not surprised by the cost or time it took, which was not long. Jared was especially helpful & friendly.

I got a warning light on my dashboard display, so my neighbor recommended Meridian Automotive. Really glad he did! I had some regular service issues that I put off, so they diagnosed the warning light issue and performed my oil change, transmission fluid change and new wipers. I didn't have to wait because they provided transportation home and back again! Everyone was friendly and Kyle provided excellent explanations of what was needed, why and what was done. I'm going back again in a few days for an alignment after purchasing new tires. Very glad I found this company!

UPDATE: Jared from Meridian Automotive called me and let me know that as long as my oil leak was related to the original issue, that work would be under warranty. I don't know that it is related, but I certainly appreciated the call to notify me of those terms. They have demonstrated excellent customer service from the beginning and I will update my review from 1 Star to 4 Stars. These guys charged an arm and a leg and my truck is still leaking oil and there is a burning smell coming from the passenger side! I called to get it back in and they said they would continue to charge the normal diagnostic fees, as if I hadn't already paid enough. I went to these guys to avoid the huge markup fees that the big shops at the dealerships charge.

Made an appt to drop car off on a Thursday. They gave me the time of 10am. Dropped the car off at appointed time. I called 5 hrs later and they stated they were still working on it. They closed at 5 and no one called. Next day I called at 10:04 am and talked to Brian and he stated that do to me dropping off in the afternoon there were other cars ahead of mine. I told him I dropped off at 10am in the morning. He then proceeded to tell me that they usually have people drop off vehicle the night before or when they open up. Long story short, tried to put blame on me, instead of owning up on their being busy, to which he finally admitted to. They stated they didnt want to fix the oil leaks due to the fact that my car was 22 years old and they were afraid of not finding parts for my 2002 KIA SPECTRA, and thinking that other parts would crumble while getting further into the car. Keep in mind I only had 93000 miles on it! So they charged me $166 just to tell me they refuse to fix the oil leaks! Not happy!

Took my car in due to a sqeaky/scratchy sound on the drivers side. They drove it and told me they didn't hear anything. Took them for a ride and they heard it. Put it up on the lift, inspected and told me they removed some brake clips on the front and it was all better. Paid $175. Drove it away, same sound still there. Took it back immediately and drove them around again. They said they needed to look more. Finally got a text that I owed $205 more and they couldn't figure out what the sound was. They offered to replace the front brakes to see if it helped, or I could just "live with the noise". So, $380 and I drove it home with no answers. They essentially charged me for 2 inspections on the same day. Turns out, it was the wear bar on my BACK drivers side brake. Another mechanic heard me drive for 20 seconds and diagnosed what they couldn't in 6 hours. I question Meridian Automotive' s integrity and competence. Update: Wow. That’s quite a wordy response that only barely resembles anything they told me. At NO point did they use the word “safety”. The clips they removed had been there for 2 years. Were they unnecessary- maybe- but they certainly didn’t cause any issue. They literally said they had to charge us twice because they took it apart twice. Bottom line- I went in with a complaint which they never diagnosed. I spent $35 to replace the rear brakes by myself and it fixed the issue. Also, absolutely none of what you listed in your response was described in my receipts. This rings so false. Again, the integrity is questionable.

Everyone I interacted with was super helpful! I was looking for someone to preform a pre-road trip inspection and break inspection on my European vehicle and they did so with ease. Super honest about services unable to be preformed (due to needing vehicle specific tools) and also did not try to upsell any services at all. I was also impressed at the completion invoice and the amount of detail in that! Definitely recommend.

I was referred to Meridian Automotive from another mechanic shop. The first thing they did was a thorough inspection and evaluation for a reasonable price. Unlike the Dealership, they gave me a precise diagnosis of the problem, and were prepared to do repairs on the actual problem. The dealership didn't diagnose the problem, and just recommended a new engine. Unfortunately the diagnosed problem required a complete engine rebuild. Hanna, my service advisor was very helpful and explained the whole process up front. I was given a price up front, and a time frame for repairs. Throughout the repair, Hanna kept me updated on the progress, and also advised me of any additional repairs or costs involved. They even took photos, and showed me old and new parts going in. There was GREAT COMMUNICATION and excellent customer service throughout the whole process. My mechanic Gary did an excellent job, and he had all the tools and facilities at his disposal to do the entire engine rebuild in shop. All the tooling and block and head resurfacing and machining was done in house, not sent out to a third party. I was very impressed with the facilities and capabilities of Meridian Automotive. Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the skills of the ASE Certified Mechanics, and the professional interaction with the font office staff. It is extremely difficult to find an honest, fair, and trustworthy mechanic these days. I have found that at Meridian Automotive. I will definitely be back for all of my Mechanic needs! I trust them to work on any of my vehicles! Thank you !

This was my first experience with Meridian Automotive, I was extremely impressed. They did what I asked them to do (alignment) without trying to sell me more services etc. The office staff was polite and friendly. I will have no issues in the future taking my vehicle here from Nampa. I've been through both of the "best ones" in Nampa and compared to meridian automotive they just took my money and didn't align my vehicle.

I needed help with my Hummer H3, after it started making a horrible grinding noise. Kyle helped me throughout, but everyone there helped to find just what all was wrong. They figured out what was wrong with the car when Christian Bros was not able to diagnose twice( charged us $2000). Only problem I had with meridian auto was you have to be worked back into schedule after waiting for parts. They seem very booked so it took more time without a car to drive. Good for them to be the busy but hard to be without our car

Guys were super honest and kind. They suspected the problem was fuel pump related so they went in to replace it and found out it was something else. So, they called me right away and told me what it was, and that it would be significantly cheaper to fix. It was a problem that a previous mechanic could not figure out after a month of my truck being there. I’m very happy with the service.

I’ll start off by saying the service started out great! I called and they were able to take a look at my truck the same week. I took it in Thursday, May 9th. When I left, they said I would get a quote emailed. They also mentioned my truck made a chirping noise when it turned on which was an issue with a belt. I called the next day and was more or less told they had problem vehicles and would have the quote to me by Monday. I didn’t get the quote at all that week, and with a long road trip coming up, I made an appointment elsewhere and got a quote the same day. Edit to add: I saw they responded so I’m adding another star. I won’t be calling back as I have long since had the issue addressed elsewhere, but I genuinely appreciate the response and attempt to make it right! I added a screenshot from the day of my appointment and one after, that asked about my experience, so I definitely was there and got my truck looked at.

Took our 2002 Chevy Trailblazer in for its third steering rack/ball joint replacements (from other shops that shall not be mentioned), a heat vent actuator replacement, and a water pump replacement. Par for the course for 151,000 mile rig. So far so good! I realize it's hard to find good legacy refurbished parts much less new OEM for these "antiques". Sorry to hear that our former service advisor Brian Ramos is no longer with the company. We took the car into him on a Wednesday. The following week we went to pick the car up after repairs were completed on a Thursday and I was informed that he had been terminated sometime during the repair process. I worked with Brian at Micron for quite a few years. I can't imagine what he could have done to be terminated, but that's life I guess. Will still be bringing the antique into Meridian automotive for the foreseeable future. Until she finally lets the smoke out and drives off into the sunset....or to a CarMax ...

People were nice. I had them replace the calibers and rotors and the assembly on my 2018 Toyota Hylander after putting my winter tires on two months later. I noticed the lug nuts were loose, all the way around could twist a lug nut with my finger, like they didn't use a torque wrench to vehicle specs "76 pounds". They were the last ones to touch the wheels. I could have had a bad accident on the freeway because of this. I would double-check their work if you have a torque wrench. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I'm just looking out for others.
