I had the best experience with Meridian Automotive, thankfully I was referred by Nesmith Brothers Towing. Overall everything that could go right, did! I had the pleasure of working directly with Jacqueline and she was VERY professional, helpful and communicated with me throughout the whole process. She helped identify I had a warranty that their shop accepted and did all the leg work. She truly went above and beyond any expectations I had. My water pump and thermostat were replaced and my car was ready to go in less than a week even when they got me in super last minute! I highly recommend working with this shop for car needs!

Terrible!!!! I needed a rebuild on my 390fe. Spent $9,000. Back fired constantly. Took the truck to a real mechanic, and the problems were a broke off fuel essentric, engine timing, and distributor timing was completely off. Ridiculous experience.

Jacqueline is my gal!! I was in a bind with a lock problem on my car. I was terrified I would accidentally lock my kiddo in the car one day and wouldn't be able to get her out. I called Meridian Automotive and Jacqueline answered the phone promptly with such kindness in her voice. I expressed my problem. She advised me to see if maybe the battery in my key was dying before taking my car in. I did that and unfortunately it did not work. I called back. Lovely Jacqueline answered and immediately knew it was me. I let her know that it didn't work out but was very interested in getting my car in to be looked at. I drove over to be greeted by her at the front desk. We talked for a few minutes, set an appointment that would work with my schedule to have a diagnostic completed same day of the appointment. I arrived at open today. She promised to let me know what was going on with a repair quote by 3:00. I got the quote before 3:00. It gave me enough time to walk a couple miles back to the shop from home since that was my only vehicle. I got back and my gal, Jacqueline, was there!! She is the sweetest person. While I chose not to move forward with a repair at the moment to decide my options, I was still so happy with the impeccable service I received. I felt like she and I became besties at this point!! She is honest, kind, and is the cornerstone of what classic customer care is all about. I feel confident that I will be a repeat customer so long as she is there!!
My 1995 Ford Probe would not start so it had to be towed to Meridian Automotive. Another shop replaced the fuel pump but after a week it would not start again. So trying a new place has worked the problem was actually a crankshaft sensor. Jacqueline in the office is really a super person informing me daily sometimes more than once on the status of my vehicle. I have never seen anyone so efficient and friendly while being so busy on her job. So if you bring your vehicle to them you will be informed often which is nice
We were on our way to a wedding in Atlanta, Idaho from Northern Nevada when we started experiencing engine problems near Jordan Valley. I called several Ford Dealerships in Boise and none could get me in. One of the dealers referred me to Meridian Automotive. Jaqueline took our call, and the customer service she provided was Michelin Star level. She coordinated the drop off of my Ford-150, got us lined up with a rental truck from the nearby Enterprise, and answered all of our questions and concerns. Jaqueline was a calm in the storm we were experiencing. The rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly as well. Meridian Auto was very helpful with our F-150 transmission problem. Jacqueline was amazingly helpful and even lined up a rental car and gave us a ride to the rental pickup so we could finish our trip to a wedding while the shop looked into the problem with our truck. This place has great people working here.

On the phone I was quoted $1,040 to replace a worn parking brake shoe, when I went in to pay the "diagnostic fee" of $188, the paper quote was just under $800. Mind you, this shop does not apply the diagnostic fee towards any of the future labor, also this quote was only for ONE SIDE. I found quality parts online, Beck/Arnley shoes for $44 and a Dorman kit for $19. Took me two hours, with my manual tools, bottle jack and stands to do both sides. Guess I should pay myself $1400 .
Don't get me wrong, this shop seems to have good technicians, and they seem to do good work, but ethically? They charge $185 an hour ($40 more than the valley avg), so they're charging what 8 hours of shop time? Or maybe the parts are solid titanium with gold bling.
I'll never bring any vehicle here again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone looking for "fair" priced work. Honestly, I only brought it here because of work done in the past when I was in a pinch. And I honestly question how much money I was raked over for that work too.
My AC went out in my truck I was told initially my blower motor pigtail and resistor were still under warranty from the last time they put it in. wich cost an arm and a leg. Anyway I took it in they then called me told me the parts were no longer under warranty but since it was a bad connection they would fix it anyway so I got my truck back it worked for like a week and it went out again so I called them back and they told me to bring it back it in they looked at it then told me it was gonna cost about 1000 dollars to replace all the parts they said they would have to replace all parts again I of course told them no come to find out when I decided to do it my self everything was good it was just a loose wire in the pigtail and saved me 850 dollars it was an easy diagnosis but when they looked at it they said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so just to let whoever reads this to be careful taking your vehicle there they will lie to you and try to blow up your bill in a time when everybody is struggling
We had a fair amount.of work done to the engine on a Ford explorer sport to replace a water pump that was in a challenging place to access in the vehicle. I was well informed and the repair was completed in a timely manner. However , it took a few extra visits to diagnose and fix some issues that arose during the original repair which was a bit frustrating. All repairs were taken care under the warranty they have which is excellent and we are very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Meridian Auto for service needs on a vehicle!

I brought my F-150 pickup truck in to meridian automotive with a brake system light on. I know absolutely nothing about automotive repair and the amazing employees at meridian automotive went above and beyond to take the time and explain everything to me. They were able to locate a part that no other shop including the Ford dealership could find. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had at any automotive shop in the country! I will not be taking my truck anywhere else to have work done on it!
I could not be happier with the service I received from the team at Meridian Automotive and Steve IS the best alignment expert in the valley. After another shop made it way worse after working on it, he was able to get everything in spec and the big dually drives perfectly. Highly recommended!

Made an appt to drop car off on a Thursday. They gave me the time of 10am. Dropped the car off at appointed time. I called 5 hrs later and they stated they were still working on it. They closed at 5 and no one called. Next day I called at 10:04 am and talked to Brian and he stated that do to me dropping off in the afternoon there were other cars ahead of mine. I told him I dropped off at 10am in the morning. He then proceeded to tell me that they usually have people drop off vehicle the night before or when they open up. Long story short, tried to put blame on me, instead of owning up on their being busy, to which he finally admitted to. They stated they didnt want to fix the oil leaks due to the fact that my car was 22 years old and they were afraid of not finding parts for my 2002 KIA SPECTRA, and thinking that other parts would crumble while getting further into the car. Keep in mind I only had 93000 miles on it! So they charged me $166 just to tell me they refuse to fix the oil leaks! Not happy!

This was my first experience with Meridian Automotive, I was extremely impressed. They did what I asked them to do (alignment) without trying to sell me more services etc. The office staff was polite and friendly. I will have no issues in the future taking my vehicle here from Nampa. I've been through both of the "best ones" in Nampa and compared to meridian automotive they just took my money and didn't align my vehicle.
I was referred to Meridian Automotive from another mechanic shop. The first thing they did was a thorough inspection and evaluation for a reasonable price. Unlike the Dealership, they gave me a precise diagnosis of the problem, and were prepared to do repairs on the actual problem. The dealership didn't diagnose the problem, and just recommended a new engine. Unfortunately the diagnosed problem required a complete engine rebuild.
Hanna, my service advisor was very helpful and explained the whole process up front. I was given a price up front, and a time frame for repairs. Throughout the repair, Hanna kept me updated on the progress, and also advised me of any additional repairs or costs involved. They even took photos, and showed me old and new parts going in. There was GREAT COMMUNICATION and excellent customer service throughout the whole process. My mechanic Gary did an excellent job, and he had all the tools and facilities at his disposal to do the entire engine rebuild in shop. All the tooling and block and head resurfacing and machining was done in house, not sent out to a third party. I was very impressed with the facilities and capabilities of Meridian Automotive.
Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the skills of the ASE Certified Mechanics, and the professional interaction with the font office staff. It is extremely difficult to find an honest, fair, and trustworthy mechanic these days. I have found that at Meridian Automotive. I will definitely be back for all of my Mechanic needs! I trust them to work on any of my vehicles! Thank you !
