Nice place. The monthly events are well run. All good people helping run the place. The monthly garage sale is very nice gathering. The association has Bingo on the 1st Tuesday of the month.
Clean and a good place to take your little children to play and for those who wantto exercise. They have an amusement place for the little children to play at, there is a covered but open air basketball court, a big field for other activities including a jogging path around the field with workout equipment built in for additional exercises. They have a enclosed community center that has various activities such as hula dancing practice, and two private bathrooms with locking doors. Parking is very easy and usually not a problem. Overall a very nice place.
I lost my home there to the volcano in 2018. I like to return often going to peak at our covered property that still is smoking. We lived there for over 30 years. I go back to attend gi gong classes given by Alice. It is a great way to relax and reminise..
Best park I've found in the nearby estates for kids, (Unless you go to the park in Pahoa town). The extra grassy area with the walking path makes this place really cool/ fun. Let the kids run around like lunatics while you chill! Gave 4 stars because play and exercise equipment are old
Well taken care of facility. Private park, circuit training, baseball field and basketball court available for residents only. Classes offered also. Nice playground.
We'll, the office is closed because of covid. We were interested in looking at a lot and wanted to look at their map. It was very quiet and the best thing was the bathrooms we're open. Plus there was the happy sounds of young folks playing volleyball. Has a nice playground too!
An excellent place to exercise and bring the kids. There is a playground, pavilion with basketball hoops, balls provided, emu, some exercise equipment (out door kind), walking path around perimeter, softball field, large grassy area with provided baggies and rubbish can for clean up for your leashed dog walks. The community center also hosts classes that are offered by individuals, such as hula, ukulele, yoga, dog training, and others. Leilani Community center also hosts movie night in the pavilion, community potlucks, and a dinner and bingo night. On first Saturday of the month a community rummage sale is held in the pavilion in the morning.
