I've gone back and forth on making this review
Yesterday Thursday noon-ish, I was driving on Johnson Corner rd headed towards town.
For 2 or 3 miles I had a tow truck just about in my back seat. I was already doing 60+mph, mind you. Right before getting to the Lyons Police Department this town truck got side by side with my Suburban trying to pass me for a good 100 feet or so. He didnt accelerate, he just drive next to my car. I had to slam on my brakes to let them get over in front of me to avoid them (tow truck)hitting another SUV head on [likely loaded with kids, like mine]
As I'm slamming my brakes I look over and the driver is just chilling on his phone then looked over at me like I was the problem.
I had 4 kids in my car! And he was driving like an absolute idiot.
So I got the truck number and called their depo. I'm not sure who answered the phone but he was the least helpful person I've ever encountered.
I gave a quick run down about what happened. I honestly don't know what I was expecting for an outcome but it definitely was not to be spoken to so rudely and with so much condescension!
He said and I quote "what do you want me to do? Yell at him? Fire him? He was probably on his phone talking to GSP or on his way to a wreck"
FIRST OF ALL THE TOW TRUCKS LIGHTS WERE NOT ON! NOT ANY KIND OF EMERGENCY FLASHERS!!. NOTHINGGGGG THAT INDICATED AN EMERGENCY!!!!
I want preface this by saying I didn't want anyone to lose their job. But I am a small business owner myself, if one of my employees ever made anyone feel unsafe I would want to know!
After being yelled at by this guy I figured the conversation wasn't going to be productive. So I hung up. He then proceeded to call me back! I did not answer because I was not trying to get in a screaming match with some weird guy I don't even know.
Very long story short, if yall need a tow and want someone to get to you fast and put everyone on the road at risk. MARTYS TOWING IS THE PLACE TO CALL
In response to your response. You made our interaction sound almost pleasant when it was anything but. I'm glad you talked with your driver. I too was in a loud car with a movie going, tablets, phones, kids talking and being loud and I didn't once raise my voice or have a rude tone. No further explanation necessary, just help keep our roads safe. Thanks
I had a great experience with Marty’s Towing. The driver showed up quickly, was very professional, and handled everything with care. They towed my truck all the way from Mississippi to Alabama without any issues at all. What could have been a stressful situation was handled smoothly from start to finish. Fast response, excellent service, and a really courteous driver. I highly recommend Marty’s Towing if you ever need reliable help on the road.
