Operator was helpful with telling me how to separate my metals for the scales. I was in and out with my check in under 15 minutes. By far the best place in Augusta to take your scrap

CMC Recycling is open Monday through Friday - I try to always get here before 4:00pm! Ms. Kendra at Cashier window is always pleasant, prompt and wil process your check quickly! There maybe other Recycling centers but I wouldn't know it as this is where I come!

The ease of the drive on scale and convenience of the shred drop off is the only reason I go here. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 1 star. I sell my nonferrous elsewhere because the guys there have very poor customer service skills and act like it is a burden for them because you brought some scrap to sell. They will always look for the smallest reason to downgrade something even though there is a certain percentage of tolerance allowed. If you are selling shred it is fine. Otherwise, go elsewhere.
