I have been working here for a little while now, and I feel like I finally have enough information to leave an honest and well informed review. First of all let me say that everyone seems really nice. Employees are all friendly l, and have been super helpful and welcoming to me as a newer employee. management is fair and consistent. Most importantly safety seems to be taken very seriously, which is somewhat of a rarity in this industry. company offers good benefits at reasonable prices.100% would recommend this place to potential employees or prospective scrap sellers.
Of all the SA RECYCLING yards this is the slowest to load trucks SMH loading at this yard means losing money. DONT get me started on the loader can't get the weight correct we always gotta go over the scales 3 or 4 times very time consuming. These loaders need more training seriously they do. I just don't get it other SA yards gets trucks in and out and they minimizes having to go on the scale 3 or 4 times to get the weight correct but this location arghhhhhh no wonder drivers hate coming here. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO OPEN UP AT 5AM NOT 8AM TO SUPLEMENT THEIR SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW LOADING PROCESS 😆 LOL HARD TO DO 2 OR 3 LOADS A DAY COMING TO THIS LOCATION BUT PLZ FELLAS U GOTTA DO BETTER WITH UR LOADING PROCESS REMEBER TRUCKS GET PAID FOR EACH LOAD NOT BY THE HOUR THXX
