Stay away from this place ,lot extra small,had to direct traffic on the lot because it's tiny and all kinds of people riding around in cars and trucks plus the staff riding around on fork lifts and side by sides ,plus they are super slow,waited a hour before they even started now it's going on 3,seems like all those people riding around on fork lifts would help the 1 guy that's loading me and having to drive to a whole other section of the yard to get the product to be shipped ,this place sucks!!!!! Looks ok sitting here but trust me
Checked in at 9 am to get loaded and I was told to comeback again at 2 pm it was realy hard to find parking close by, the QT that is 5 miles away is always busy. At 2 pm they gave me a dock and after 4 hrs they started to load me and they finished at 9 pm. Becareful with the tire the lot is full of scrap metal.
The entire team at this SA Recycling is professional, super helpful and quite frankly, they are the reason I chose to drive past other recycling centers and go there.
Don't come here. They will cheap you out . Bad customer service. They low ball you with you hard working materials. I've been to a better place that gives you more.
It's a place to come.. avoid coming here, the ppl are rude, especially the guy who weighs the cans. He needs to be fire for sure. Never would I come here. This place needs to be shut down. He expects you to hear him when blasting he music on the background. Thank to us who bring him material so he can make a living. STOP coming here there better place who would you more for you materials
I have been a customer of this place for 4 years. I don't plan on coming here from now on because. When I was in line, he made the 3 people after me get in line before me. It was Friday morning at around 10.40-11.05, he treats people according to their style.
one of the best scrap metals, my only issue with this place is the employees, the employees, some employees are nice some are disrespectful, hope they find people who want to work!
Very unprofessional attendants, I've dumped my scrap here for years and suddenly this year they started to ask for a signed paper from my company, I've come around 5 times and they always require something new, this last time they asked me for a business card in order to dump my load, how am I supposed to bring all those papers all the time? I'm the driver not an office clerk to keep up with their bureaucracy. The recycle place by Buford Hwy ask NOTHING just one ID and that's it, way better than these guys at Mitchell, they always waste my time with their absurd bureaucracy.
Quick and easy service. I called to ask for prices since they change constantly. They gave payment in form of a check. I would recommend calling to ask for prices.
Very good. Easy access. The prices for scrap are good. They weigh your vehicle then you drive in to the yard. You drop off what you want where you are suppose to then they weigh your vehicle when you leave. They'll give you a ticket. Go into the office and pickup your check. The entire process is painless. I called to inquire about copper pricing for the day Abigail answered the phone and was not customer friendly. When I try to get clarification of contaminated and non-contaminated copper as she said, she then hang up the phone which was very rude and unprofessional. I called again twice she won't pick up the business line. When I called with a different number she picked up the line. I mentioned to her that was very unprofessional in a business setting. without apology she transferred me to a supervisor but the supervisor brushed off my complaint. I will never put people like her in the Forefront of my business. Unfortunately I have to take my 100lb of copper somewhere.
It was really nice everyone was nice and friendly and was in and out in no time.They give you the top price for what you take to them.I take all my recycling toSa recycling because I know I'm going to get top price from them.
2 and a half stars. Good prices overall. Some of the prices were not reflective of the quote I was given. Do not bother getting a price quote unless you are going that day. I was quoted .25 cents a pound for copper transformers but I received .10 cents a pound. Offered .12 cents a pound for stainless steel and copper heat sinks, i kept those. They classified my power supplies as tin. If i knew that, i would have kept them. They make you do alot of the work and don't communicate with you about items or prices well. I may return if I have 100 pounds or more of Aluminum cans. Otherwise, I will do my business with Widenation.
Best pay in the area. Workers are awesome. They don’t control the prices of scrap metal they just pay you current market rate and everytime I compare they are the highest
Not knowing how it works, and seeing the "Aluminum cans 55¢" on the sign, I was curious how it worked. Should have called instead of walking in. I got some attitude, and only after reading some of the replies by management on the other reviews, do I now understand that it's "Per pound".. I guess it's common assumption in the scrap metal business that everything is by pound, but would it kill you to indicate that on the sign out front? At least my stop off was on the way to Lowe's and I didn't lose much time or gas in trying to find out what's going on. I'll just save my aluminum cans for a recycling center that treats me with a nicer attitude..it's not worth 55 cents or less (per pound) for that attitude..
SA Recycling recently bought this location. The prices they pay for metal are significantly lower than under the old ownership.
I should have realized something had changed when I drove in that there were substantially fewer customers.
I won’t be back. I’ll just find a place that pays a more competitive price.
its a legal to recycle using someone else’s id and still get a check ! plus they always find a way to take off weight to give you less making you think they trying hook you up ! do not recommend this location especially with a manger and supervisor harassment towards employees and take advantage
They pay more than the others and were very helpful. In and out quickly! Another visit and the same results....great prices and service!

Worse experience in my life they Are liars and cheats I had 110 pounds of number one spaghetti wire they paid me 45 cents per pound I had 65 pounds of number 1 copper and they bought it as brass cos it had tape on it I will never go there again And I strongly recommend you don't go either
Went to recycle aluminum cans, but they gave me 1/5 the current value because some cans had paper labels still on it. Drop off lot filled with loose nails, so you'll likely get a flat. They had problems getting the check to print so wasted about an hour standing in line. Horrible business. Never doing my recycling there again.
