My car broke down over an hour from home. They were able to get her towed into the shop, and a new engine put in with little hassle. Throughout the process, Brayan was very communicative and kept me updated about the timeline.
These guys are amazing! We had a belt break on I-20 by Siloam, they were able to get us back on the road in less than 2 hours, with a tow! Very fair pricing. Highly recommend them!
Let me just say I wasn’t gonna rest till I left this review. Do y'all hear me!!!! My car overheated on me and my two children as we were headed to a car show out of town just a couple hrs away from home for a weekend getaway. I had no clue where I was but I knew it was a small town. I soon found out it was so small they didn’t even have Lyft or Uber lol. Back on track….. I had to get a tow so I googled the nearest repair shop and Jaras showed to be the only one opening up on a Saturday it was 9pm Friday night btw. Not knowing the outcome I had my car towed there and made it my business to meet them at the front door upon opening in desperate need of help! Let me tell you this. They couldn’t get parts same day (due to it being a small town) but were willing to do their best to try and get us home if that was my goal. They even took me to pickup my children when it was time checkout the motel and to get food. They even blessed me with a discount at the end of it all. (I cried) This experience showed me Gods ppl are still here willing and able. As a single woman my biggest fear is being taken advantage of because let’s be honest some people like to see us coming into the auto repair world lbs. I never felt anything but love, compassion and honesty here. Thank you guys so much for being the light I so needed to see in my dark moment. We made it home no over heating!! ❤️ 💯🙌🏾
In the past I've had two vehicles towed to Jaras Automotive and received quality work a good information concerning the conditions of my vehicles today however is the first time I visited their website. Upon reading other people reviews,, I noticed that they noticed the same quality of good workmanship and care for their customers that I received in the past. What that says about this company is that they are consistent with customer service. That is why today I am bringing my third truck to them to repair even though they are 45 minutes to an hour away from where I live. Reading the other reviews on this platform only confirm my gut feeling about this company, so I felt compelled to write my own review to let others know that Jaras Automotive is the real deal. I am a small business courier trucking company / Moving company called Wheel Kick LLC and I highly recommend Jaras Automotive.
I've had great service there and I intend to keep my business there. Pricy? I just want my truck fixed and have a little trust. I feel like a valued customer and like that feeling. They have always taken the time to show me what they find and explained my options. So far, I'm completely satisfied . They keep records of what's been done and what may need to keep an eye on and...they know me by name! Imagine that.
Osvaldo provided excellent service when the water pump failed in our truck while on vacation in the area. He described the best and worst case scenarios, the tests he would perform and his concerns about the availability of parts. As he worked through the repair process, he kept us well informed.
After the work was complete, we found out that the shop was working shorthanded and was only supposed to work by appointment that day. So glad Osvaldo made an exception for us.
I feel that what we paid was very fair and the shop provides great value on great work. The truck ran perfectly all the way home.
I was a long way from home when I had car trouble. These guys had me back on the road in a couple of hours and I didn't have to cancel reservations at my next stop. THANK YOU TEAM JARAS!
My husband and I went to see our military son in NC for Thanksgiving.On our way back home to Texas we broke down on I20 right off the exit ramp in Greensboro GA. It was a mess from the get go. The Chevrolet place had us call roadside assistance as they did not tow. After waiting 3 hours on the interstate for a roadside service that never showed, we called JARAS automotive. They were there in 15 minutes. By this time it was closing time. They (not the dealership) drove us to a hotel. The next morning they fixed our car with excellent service. Brayan brought parts out and explained everything as the repair went on. I can say without reservation that if we lived near, JARAS would have our service for life. Thanks again! These stranded strangers from Texas really appreciated your hospitality and work ethic!
Edit to add: Six hours into our 10 hour drive home, we get a call from Brayan to check on us. Never have I ever had that happen. These guys deserve 10 ⭐️s.
My car broke down in 1-20, and the tow truck to me to some other bums first who told me they 'wouldn't work on my car' because it was an old Volvo. Jara's was not as easily deterred. They agreed to look at it, switched a belt, and fixed it within the next day. Not only that, but my car stopped again at the gas station down the street as I was leaving. They met me there, helped me get the car back to the shop, and switched a faulty wire out for me free of charge. Real nice guys working over there, and they really helped me in a tight spot.
Took my f350 to them to have right wheel bearing fixed. When picked my truck up the bill stated. Brakes adjusted, brakes cleaned ( did kw you could clean brakes) and greased wheel bearing. Just under 400$ to grease wheel bearing. NOT HAPPY
Horrible service my car was broken down at my house i called this people to fix it they sent towing truck and I have dogs. Then my dogs approx the towing driver and the towing driver pulled a gun to my dogs in my property and told my wife that he was going to shoot at them and they took my car just was missing oil CHARGES $380 also the guy at front offered to buy the car he said that car was bad and by today the car still works fine SO BE CAREFULL TO WHO YOU TRUST AND LET IT GO IN TO U DRIVEWAYS
My car broke down 5 miles from Jara on I-20. They came and towed my car within 15 minutes. Once we got to the shop, they started working on my car right away. Very professional and helpful. They had me on the road in about 2 hours.
Couldn't get my usual mechanic so tried this place. They towed my truck and had it fixed same day. I though a little overpriced but overall very pleased especially since I couldn't get in anywhere else. Very nice getting my truck back same day. Thanks guys good job.
I’m from out of town and broke down, they came towed me and had me on the road the next day and stayed after hours to get it done fast! Amazing service!
Excellent customer service! Passing through on i-20, engine randomly cut off. Not only a good tow service, but they also found a fuse issue caused by another mechanic that no one else could've solved on a Saturday (which was extremely awesome of them to have stayed the hours that they did for people driving across the country!!). They triple checked for any other electrical problems 90 minutes flat. Extremely kind, and courtious! Would recommend! 15/10 stars!
This place threatened to steal my car and hide it demanding them I come pay today or I won’t see my car again - keep in mind they have only had my car 1 week and it was NOT FINISHED!! it was an insurance claim!!!! I am not supposed to pay you- my insurance does!!! They did not comprehend this logic they called me threatening me, I went immediately paid them their money and had to notify my insurance company about the incident along with filing a police report.
At first service was fast and efficient, but, then I get two hours drive away and sleep in a room for the night. Woke up to a flat tire the same one I payed 49$ for. Granted it was used. Couldn't they check the tire for holes. So after driving back and paying 20$ more plus gas obviously, and arguing about how I would not be back there if the tire had been check first. I finally got a decent tire. Idk u call it. I say 1 star
Disappointing Experience! I have recommended this shop in the past, and used them for years and have spent thousands there. The AC recently went out on Pat's car (my wife). She went to her favorite local repair shop and within 30 min was given a quote for repair. I convinced her to let Jose take a look at the AC before proceeding with the repair. After having the car for 2 days, I called the shop to get an update, and was told the AC diagnostics would not run as the check engine light was out on the dash. (Don't know if the light worked when the car was dropped off) This did not make any sense to me and I asked to speak with Jose. When questioned about the light, I was informed it would cost $350 to fix the light. At this point, I told him I would just pick up the car. He then said I would have to pay $150 to get my car. We were never informed or agreed to any charges for an estimate. When I told him I would be there with the Greensboro police to get it, he responded "I don't care if you bring Obama your are not getting your car unless you pay". What ever Obama had to do with this I do not know. To shorten this, I did show up with the police, but Jose was able to hold my car until the next day. I relented a decided to just pay the $150 to get our car back and write if off as a bad experience. BOTTOM LINE IF YOU WANT TO TIE UP YOUR VEHICLE FOR 2.5 DAYS AND BE CHARGED $150 FOR NO ESTIMATE, NO REPAIRS, AND A REAL HASSLE GO FOR IT!
Booo worst place I've ever been asked them to fix my transmission ended up with a 300$ alignment and still broken transmission wouldn't even give one star if it was an option
He supposedly rebuilt my Fords 5.4 engine but it never ran right. Also his shop changes names every year. Rojas then Greensboro Automotive, now Jaras? Something doesn’t seem right about that!
Excellent auto service and customer service!! Very professional and explained everything that needed to be done before servicing. Fair pricing and does an excellent job! Will be back.
