Had a wonderful guy by the name of Reese came and tow my vehicle, in brunswick. My car broke down on the side of the road. He was was professional and courteous.

Touchstone to Duckworth on Christmas Eve. Awesome service, great price, friendly driver. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

My car broke down at a gas station in St. Mary's (right on the border of Florida/Georgia) on a Sunday evening. I had a nightmare experience with roadside assistance that dispatched Eastside. Eventually I was on a three way call and the roadside assistance took my money but could not or would not get they payment to Eastside. After an hour of arguing about who had cancelled the purchase order that roadside assistance was using to pay Eastside and it still not going through, Eastside dispatch agreed to let pay out of pocket to get the car (and myself) out of there. (I think Roadside Assistance wanted to cancel the service and send another company that couldn't be there until the next day, meaning my car would be impounded because it was blocking the gas station's fuel delivery.) Even though this was a bad experience, the reason I am giving Eastside five stars is because it appears to me that the Roadside Assistance subcontractor was not paying them, so they could have simply driven away when the Roadside Assistance . Eastside's dispatcher spent an hour on the phone trying to talk the Roadside Assistance into how to submit the payment, often being talked over or contradicted by the insurance subcontractor. By letting me pay out of pocket, they put my safety ahead of any conflicts that might be created with the Insurance Company. I eventually filed a complaint with the Insurance company (USAA) against the subcontractor, and will see how that is resolved. But in the end, that is a matter of $$$. What is important to me in this review is that while I was in a dangerous situation, they, not the insurance subcontractor, prioritized my safety and at least gave me the option of paying myself rather than simply cancelling the order that had originated with the Roadside Assistance.

Recently did business with a friend and shamed them into not leaving a bad review. Business lacks professionalism and you can tell for yourself by looking at how they respond to negative reviews. They have an excuse for everything. Whatever happened to businesses using “the customers always right” theory.

I'm from Asheville NC, I was traveling to Florida to see my daughter and be baby. I locked my keys in my car and I needed my medicine for my asthma. I called the police dept, they connected me with Paula which then she called Eastside Recovery Mr Reese was fantastic. Paula was awesome, my experience with Eastside recovery was so helpful to me. I wish that we had this same service in my home town.. They have a 5 STAR rating with me. Thank you guys so so much.

We stopped in Brunswick as an overnight before heading to our final destination. Came out of the hotel and truck wouldn't start. From the tow driver we first encountered, to the full staff at Eastside, everyone was kind and professional. They got us on our way after just a few hours. Mike and his crew saved our vacation!

“Eastside’s Policies Are Making It Hard for My Single-Income Family of 6 to Recover Our desperately needed Vehicle! They are adding storage fees daily making it much harder to pay the bill, crippling the father’s ability to continue working to provide for his family and is now facing financial devastation by not having transportation to work! I offered to make payment’s on the repair bill and I was told I could NOT make any kind of partial payments. Thanks for your kindness EASTSIDE! I would love to retrieve my truck as well, but as of now with the storage fees, you have doubled my bill! I had a very difficult and disappointing experience with Eastside. If I could give less than one star, I would. In my case, the repair bill became more than I could afford upfront, and Eastside has made it extremely hard to find a solution. I asked multiple times if they could retrieve important documents that are locked inside the truck — including my passport, Social Security card, birth certificate, and the vehicle title — but they wouldn’t assist me. I needed those documents urgently to secure a loan and start a new job, but I was told I couldn’t get them unless I paid the full bill first. Meanwhile, they’ve continued to charge me $35 per day in storage fees, which makes the situation even worse. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like you’re trying everything possible to resolve an issue, only to be blocked at every turn. From my perspective, they’re unwilling to work with me or offer any reasonable options. This whole experience has put me, my wife and 4 children in a very tough spot financially and personally. My truck is essential for work and supporting my family, and being unable to access it — or even the documents inside — has made things extremely difficult. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with Eastside.

DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH EASTSIDE TOWING & RECOVERY in Brunswick, GA. Absolutely Horrible Experience!!!!! My vehicle broke down on the highway and was towed by Eastside Towing & Recovery to their repair shop. The repair bill ended up being more than I could afford at the time — around $1,700 — and I’ve been doing everything I possibly can to recover my truck ever since. Unfortunately, Eastside has made the process extremely difficult, and it feels intentional. I offered to start Making Payments on the repair bill And I wouldn’t take the truck until everything was paid in full, but they said it has to be paid in full at one time they would not take any form of partial payments And now the truck just sits there continuing to accrue a daily storage fee of $35 added to my bill daily for the truck to sit in an empty lot. Unbelievable. They are refusing to let me retrieve the title from the glovebox, which I need in order to secure a loan to pay off the bill. That’s the most straightforward and logical solution — let me get the title, pay the bill, and move on — but instead, they’ve essentially blocked every attempt I’ve made to resolve this. My truck is worth over $14,000, and it feels like they’re trying to let the bill grow with storage fees so they can ultimately take ownership of the truck and profit off the situation. It comes across as extremely manipulative and dishonest. In all my life I have never had or even heard of a repair shop who would do such a thing to someone who has expressed multiple times that I’min a Really bad situation already. This has devastated me and my family. I’m an only working husband and father of 4 young children, and that truck is my only means of transportation and income. My wife can’t work right now due to a Life-threatening health issue, Which makes things even more difficult than they already are. The way Eastside has handled this shows a complete lack of compassion, professionalism, or ethical standards. They’ve taken advantage of a tough situation and made it worse — and the ones who suffer most are my kids. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Eastside Towing & Recovery. If this is how they treat people, especially working families in difficult situations, it says everything you need to know about their character.

Eastside Recovery was great. I needed their roadside assistance and they arrived 15 minutes before they said they would and had me on the road within 20 minutes. They are Great!

Excellent, fast and friendly service! My car broke down in my yard, Maurice came to tow it to the repair shop. He was fast, friendly and took great care to make sure that she was secured and safe for the tow! Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about these folks. Just good hardworking people. My serpentine belt and tensioner went out and they had me towed and repaired and back on the road in no time at all. Thank You Eastside you really helped me out of a jam. Highly recommend

Got myself in a pickle, this morning and locked 🔐 my darn keys in my Chevy, so I gave Allstate a holler and they sent EastSide thank god 🙏! They came way faster than the ETA sent to me! When Mr Terry arrived he was very fast 💨 yet very careful to not damage my vehicle 🛻! He also showed professionalism and southern hospitality!!! EASTSIDE FOR THE WIN 🏆 🙌!! Eastside was dispatched by USAA after a blown tire on 95 by exit 23. Jared was very efficient and friendly getting me to a tire shop, with a great attitude. Good guy to see in a difficult situation.

September 21,2024. We were on our way back home, got back in the car at the rest area in Brunswick, GA and the car would not start. We contacted our insurance company, they dispatch this amazing company. The driver arrived and tried to start our vehicle, he did a lot to help, he was very professional. So we had to end up riding in the tow truck for an hour. I have to say great company, would definitely recommend. Would definitely contact again if needed.

I had a horrible experience with Eastside. I was referred by a friend who personally knows the main mechanic. It was there for 5 weeks! That’s the shortest that people I know have had it in too. I heard some people had their cars there for months. They only called me one time after I first dropped it off. And I had to call every week to get an update but they would not give me a quote and would not give me any information about my car while it was there. They never actually did what it was there for and just said it was the battery but I had replaced the battery multiple times. Low and behold a few weeks later and that battery was dead. I ended up going to a different mechanic and I’m so much happier! The new mechanic was clear with communication, significantly cheaper, provided the quotes before doing any work, finished replacing 3 different things on my car in 1 day and had helpful suggestions like installing a kill switch which has a handy little fob in the meantime while we try and figure out what is causing the drain on my battery without having to pop the hood every time. Save yourself some hassle and just go somewhere else!

I have unfortunately broken down in a vehicle many times in my life, and I have never had as pleasant and seemless experience as I did with Nick from Eastside. As soon as my roadside assistance program sent out the request, Nick called within 5 minutes and he arrived within 30!! And we were 25 mins south of Brunswick! He was so nice and efficient. He was even intending to giving us a ride even though most don't do that. When we told him we had already called for a ride, he invited us to wait in the truck so we weren't standing on the side of the highway. He was so polite. If it's possible to have a positive experience with your car breaking down on the side of the highway, Nick and Eastside made it happen!

Thank you Felix for fast, courteous, and professional service. The advantage of using this service when I got a flat tire is the new the closest location and who would be open to help me in a jam.

Such an awesome company! My car needed a battery and had to be towed. I was in Florida, way further than home, in which Felix came and tried everything he could to fix it before towing (so I would t have to pay the extra mileage fee out of pocket). When it was time to tow he searched and told me all the places that were local that could put my battery in. Long story short Felix is the best! Took my car to an awesome spot and got my car up and running! Would definitely recommend. Felt 100% safe and in good hands!👍🏽

I requested a tow via our Geico road side assistance. Eastside was assigned and very quickly let me know they were on the way and an ETA. They arrived quickly and on time and worked very hard to get my truck into the correct towing position because it was parked in an awkward space with lots of trees and wouldn’t start. Definitely recommend the company, the truck operator was kind, knowledgeable, and put in extra work to get our truck towed! Excellent job, thank y’all!

Had to use my insurance roadside assistance to get my vehicle towed today. Very grateful that I ended up with Felix with Eastside Recovery! Very pleasant, helpful and patient with my questions and mood with having a non-starting vehicle a day before I'm supposed to move/drive across country to move to the west coast. I love Eastside Towing! I've used them many times and they have never disappointed. They are honest, courteous, caring, and have a faster response time than anyone else. I had to use them tonight. After dropping my car at the garage, Felix called me to tell me that the driver-side door handle broke when he got out of the vehicle. He told me he was going to replace it at his own cost. How is that for integrity! I told him it wasn't necessary (my car is old) but he insisted. God bless Felix and Eastside Towing!

I was 5 hours into an 18 hour drive, on a Saturday, when I had an issue with a water pump/hose. I contacted roadside assistance, they put me in touch with Eastside towing service. The truck driver was incredibly kind, and helped to ease my anxiety some. My car was towed to the shop at 12:30 pm and I was back on the road by 2:30pm fixed up brand new. The gentleman were kind, helpful, honest and fair. Thank you for taking good care of my family and my vehicle.

When I couldn't get Firestone Complete Auto Care, or Mavis Tires and Brakes to service me, I called my insurance company, and they dispatched Eastside Towing & Recovery to the rescue. They were very prompt. As soon as I put the request in, I mean as soon as I put it in, Josh called me within a minute. He gave me an estimated time He should be there. When he knew he was going to be later than expected, he called. I didn't mind it. I was on the beach, enjoying myself. He was so kind, and very professional. He was training someone. The trainee person was also very nice, kind, and professional. If you're ever in Brunswick, and get a flat, or breakdown please call this place FIRST! They are open on Sunday's, even if you don't see it on their website. I HIGHLY recommend them. They took good care of me, and got me home safely.
